We had an excellent time at the Tin Poppy Retreat. Civilization is a stone’s throw away yet you are truly immersed in the serenity of nature in this location. If you are lucky enough to have some decent wind and rain roll through you are in for a fun, wild and cozy night. We hope to be back someday.

what an absolutely beautiful place to stay, both the home and yard were spectacular! We needed a place to get some R&R and this location was perfect for us. We all found a cozy, place to relax and read and there was enough site seeing/adventure to balance it all out. I highly recommend renting here, we would have stayed longer if we could have.

I had a beautiful time staying at this peaceful little cabin. I needed a quiet getaway to recharge, read, and be creative. This place was perfect for that. I enjoyed looking out at all the beautiful spring blossoms, the bees and hummingbirds, and the sweet animals that visited me. Vreny was particularly sweet to bring me fresh eggs and home baked bread on a plate of flowers -- I was very touched, and the food was delicious. I would absolutely return here, and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, thoughtful getaway!

Such a cute place to stay with so many animals living their best life. It was a great stay and felt like home. Great location, close to the lake and the Mara Foodliner and Enderby. We hoped the drive in movie theatre nearby would be open, but it wasn’t: next time! Thank you Heidi.

My husband and I had wonderful stay at the solar cabin. It was such a wonderful feeling to wake up to the birds singing, having coffee by the morning campfire and completely reseting from busy Vancouver life . Cabin has everything you could possibly need for a little rustic, nature submerged get away. Thank you Chantal for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time in the float inn. We got a little bit confused when we checked in as to which cabin was ours as it was dark outside: however the instructions were very clear. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the dock, as well as the fully stocked kitchen! We had everything we needed. Thanks Natalia and Dave!

Linda and Al were such kind and generous hosts and we loved our time at the cabin. It was so serene being surrounded by ginormous trees and mountains painting the landscapes right as you step out of the front door of the cabin. To make it even better, there was a pig, majestic horses and some incredibly friendly dogs that greeted us and protected us. Everyday, it was a nice surprise to have the dogs run up to us and try to play or get our attention. The cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable - it is perfect for two people and it heats up really well and gets toasty in the winter. The wood cabin, all the decorations, and even the dishes all perfectly matched the setting we were in and it was a lovely stay. We would love to be back!

Beautiful Heritage Property for a wonderful weekend with friends. Good communication, great amenities. Lovely hot tub and gorgeous living areas. Comfy beds. Superb for large gatherings.

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful home away from home this is the place. If we’re ever looking for accommodation out that way again this would be my first choice

The house, location and the experience was truly amazing and wonderful. We had a great time. It was relaxing and peaceful. Will do it again if the need arises. Derek was very responsive and kind. Flexible in accommodating our requests.

Cat and Taro were wonderful host. They were very responsive and friendly. Taro took me on a tour of the gardens and greenhouse. I know he was busy but took a little time to show them to me! This is a working homestead, so it is a unique stay. I call it bonus! The loft apartment was the perfect accommodations for my husband and me! The cabin had everything we needed! The location was great! Many things to do local as well as near Yoho, Banaff, and Kootenay National Parks! I will definitely see if they have anything available when we return to the area! Thanks Cat and Taro for a wonderful stay on our first trip to Canada but not our last!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Everything about this place is fantastic. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Our three year old loved looking at the ponies and the chicken. Cat was such a nice host - it was lovely chatting with her and learning about the history of the place. The barn was very clean, with all the essentials you need for a relaxing stay. The spacious downstairs is perfect for evening chats and drinks. The patio is equally good for a cup of coffee. Go ahead and book it- you will not regret it.

We had an amazing stay in our yurt at Thea and Troy’s bluegrass farm. The yurt was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the property itself was breathtaking. The hosts were great! Very accommodating and very friendly. We had some great conversations. If I could leave a 6 star review I would! We will definitely be booking there again next year, and will most likely bring friends with us as they have 2 yurts and a guesthouse. They also had some amazing recommendations for food/drink and things to do throughout the day. Overall it was an amazing experience!

We absolutely loved Katrin and J.P.’s home! It was extremely well cared for and felt brand-new. We appreciated the gorgeous design aesthetic and wide open floor plan that is luxurious and expansive yet still comfortable and cozy. The master shower feels like a spa experience and the beds are comfy. The entryway/mudroom was so helpful for all of our gear and the laundry room is spacious with plenty of room for hanging things to dry. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and we enjoyed making our family meals there and taking a break from all of the eating out! The pool was not available since we stayed during the off-season but the backyard patio area was lovely and we enjoyed using the grill. Plenty of parking in the driveway and garage space for storing gear. The location was super convenient - a quick drive to both downtown Revelstoke and the ski mountain. We most highly recommend Katrin and J.P.’s home!

My family and I had such a great stay at Vivianne and Norm's place. Very kid friendly! Very clean, enough space for my family of 4 and 2 other adults, and the views were absolutely amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

Rachel and her family were incredibly welcoming and the space was awesome. I was there with a group of 20 for a golf trip and their home was perfect. Would highly recommend the space without hesitation.

We had such a wonderful stay! The cozy little house was just perfect—spacious enough to relax and unwind, with the most amazing mountain view. The 13-acre farm was a dream to walk around, especially with the peaceful countryside vibe. Our hosts, Pam and Blane, were incredibly welcoming and kind. They greeted us warmly and even joined us for a lovely chat in the evening. Blane went above and beyond by preparing fire logs so we could enjoy a cozy fire pit night, which was such a highlight—especially with their sweet dog, Jade, who made the evening even more special. We absolutely loved petting and playing with her! More over you can pet the cows and the chicks too❤️ It was the perfect staycation, and we were so grateful they allowed two of our friends to visit and join us by the fire pit in the evening. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Highly, highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful escape with amazing hosts!

We loved our time here. Exactly as described, easy to find and a short drive to downtown sicamous. Rupert the dog was the greatest, he makes himself right at home! Thanks for the stay, will definitely be back!

This was my second time staying at the Buffalo Ranch, and I would definitely come back again! The property is peaceful and gorgeous. It's got the most amazing view to wake up to in the morning. Leo was very hospitable and gave us the opportunity to see his buffalo herd up close - what a cool experience! I highly recommend Leo's place if you're looking for something spacious yet cozy and tranquil.
