My husband, two dogs and I stayed here over Easter weekend. The space was perfect for our needs, plenty of space for us and our pups to spread out. The location was just a little outside of town, but close enough to get downtown in less than 15 mins. We were in town for a show at a blue Notw, but managed to try two new places we’d recommend— Goldie’s bagels and Endwell Taverna— both very good! The only negative is as totally out of anyone’s control— the terrible rainy weather prevented us from using the backyard much— guess we will have to come back when it’s sunny!

If you need a beautiful and peaceful getaway away from the city look no further! The house is beautiful and the decorations and furniture even more! From farm animals in the backyard to a Jacuzzi in the master bedroom, this place was amazing! Abigail is an amazing host! She left us homemade cookies and fresh farm eggs! Will definitely be back!

Jared’s place is lovely! It’s secluded, and in a well-kept, quiet neighborhood. The house is gorgeous with uncountable books, great art to admire, and comfy, sustainable surroundings. The best part about Jared’s place (among many) is K-E-V-I-N! Kevin is the best cat this world has ever known. She’s such a sweet girl and a great companion to have during your stay - if you love animals, you’ll feel right at home!

Peaceful perfection. Spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Had everything we needed for an memorable family stay. Kirsten was a tremendous host and very responsive. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and ensure we enjoyed our stay. We felt welcome and at home. It was a joy to share her home and we plan to return.

Nice play to stay after attending concert in town. House is as advertised. Actually seems bigger than pictured. Screened in porch was great for sitting outside. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Everything was clean and lot’s of local info available for dinner ideas. Fun decor.

Great stay! Extremely accommodating host. Very responsive. There was an unforeseen issue at the original booking with Jessica and the booking needed to be cancelled. Jessica was kind enough to rebook us at another one of her properties which immediately took away the stress of trying to find something very last minute with our dog. We were in town for mom’s weekend for my daughter’s sorority. We were able to be there as planned! Thank you Jessica for making everything work out. Nice home, lots of space. Great beds. Wonderful backyard for your dog. If only the weather would have cooperated!

The description was spot-on. It was very clean and well laid out. Tons more space than I needed. But reasonably priced rooms were hard to come by this specific week. Lovely hosts who communicated quickly and clearly made it a great experience!

Adorable apartment! Spacious and well laid out. Comfortable bed, great linens. Cool light fixtures and decor. Very well equipped for a short or longer stay. Appreciated the rooms being divided and plenty of additional storage. Easy, reserved parking out back or street parking both available. Quiet and clean. Would absolutely stay again!

Linda’s rooms on cherry was a great experience! Each room has its own theme, and I stayed in the Mark Twain room. Linda was a great host, and the location is very close to the university and right in the middle of the college town.

Had a lovely time here. Was my first time doing air bnb and he responded quickly. Yes there was a kid but they kept the noise to the minimum and I honestly expected for it to be a lot louder so I was surprised. Had a comfortable bed and sofa and the shower was amazing after an event. 10/10 would recommend

Just like home! Spacious, clean, well appointed, easy access with so many extras! And above all, so convenient to our son's house and family. Winner!

If you are doing stuff downtown, everything is within easy walking distance. Incredible location - now the other side of that is that you do hear downtown life until bar time. It is public parking - we used the garage directly across the street. The rooms are exactly as advertised, and if other people are in the room next door it is a shared bathroom situation - we didn't have to do that. There is a nice little kitchen if you want to cook meals. The host was very friendly and attentive all weekend, even leaving food in the fridge (eggs, juice, bagels, coffee, cake) and just checking in periodically. Our only complaint was a chirping smoke detector, which she attempted to change batteries and find the problem, but it was going to take more time to fix - wasn't that big of a deal to us. The rest of the house does have full time tenants and the AirBnB part is tucked away at the end of one of the hallways - but everyone was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Matt's cottage is exactly as described. Simple and cozy. Nothing fancy, but everything you need to be comfortable. It's very clean and well kept-up. Check in and out was easy, perhaps the easiest of any rental I've visited. The location, to me, was the highlight. It's removed from nearby sprawl - though it is on a fast and fairly busy road - and sits on a large lot set back against a wooded ravine. My dog enjoyed stretching her legs a bit out back. And as soon as I arrived I was watching the many species of birds that make this place home, and then again at sunrise the next morning. I hope this excellent natural habitat can be preserved!

Alicia was an amazing host. We traveled from the St. Louis area and had no issues upon arrival. The particular weekend there was a storm coming in and Alicia reached out immediately informing us of access to safe shelter in the basement. Luckily there was no issues with weather and the stay was wonderful. The house is amazing from the views to the quality of the home. I would recommend staying here whether you plan to explore the area or just a getaway to retreat to a peaceful property!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Toby's cabin for our anniversary. We loved how secluded it was but also easily walkable. Scenery was amazing. Toby also had lots of amenities, grill, fire pit, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen utensils. I was surprised at how little we needed to bring to have a good time. Toby and his mother made us feel right at home and responded to us quickly and kindly throughout the trip.

Wonderful location. I was here for work but the family and I will be back just to stay.

My stay was wonderful. Erin was a fabulous host and I felt right at home. The Moonrise Cabin is a truly tranquil getaway nestled just outside the woods. Hartsburg is a super cute and charming little town. I hope to make this cabin my first Airbnb return trip because I have to come back, it was so peaceful. Thanks Erin & Ann for your kindness.

Excellent place to stay in rural Missouri- came for a wedding in a surrounding town and stayed with two other couples. Perfect location and perfect accommodations. Thanks for everything! We’ll absolutely be back for another stay or two if we have more events in the area in the future.
