Only my husband and I stayed in Casey's place, Race Brook Place at Race Brook Lodge. The king size bed was very comfortable, the house very clean, including the refrigerator. The couch and chairs were comfortable and the Wifi easy to connect to. We appreciated the ice cube tray in the freezer part of the refrigerator. We checked in before going to see James Taylor perform at Tanglewood on July 4th. We stayed 2 nights in Casey's place, the nights of the 4th and 5th of July. On the 5th we rode our bikes on the the portion of the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail that is beside a lake. On the 6th after we checked out we drove to nearby Umpachene Falls Park to see the falls. It was a very enjoyable mini vacation for us. Diane Mather

We were cycling the Empire State trail and stopped overnight at Vicki’s. Her home is lovely, comfortable, and immaculately clean. It’s very close to, and easily accessed from, the trail. Everything was just as it said in the listing, and Vicki was very responsive in communication. We’ll gladly stay again.

My husband and 2 year old stayed at Ellen’s barn for the weekend. The space was very big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring the area, we didn’t spend much time in the barn as we spent much of our day exploring. Would highly recommend Ellen’s place!

In one word, cozy. Lauren and Blake's cabin was a quiet retreat, with a cozy wood burning stove, simple and elegant decor and the most comfortable beds our party of three has ever experienced. Only minutes to the quaint little village of West Stockbridge the cabin is a beautiful haven we didn't want to leave. We will stay here again.

We always love to stay with Ilja in his beautiful home. Ilja goes above and beyond to make you feel as comfortable as if you are home and this is appreciated. There was even a welcome note for us. Everything you need is available and there is a well stocked coffee and tea area

We had a wonderful experience staying here! Tina was incredibly welcoming and even provided us with a complimentary breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated the great selection of books and board games—it made the stay feel even more like home. Everything was exactly as described, and the stay was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and well-kept place to stay. Highly recommend and we’re looking forward to visiting again!

The Inn at Pine Plains hosted by Patricia was great for our long weekend stay (couple with son & dog), the room was cosy and exceptionally clean and tidy. The location is close to walking trails, a beautiful drive to the Catskills and nearby to restaurants. It had a lovely dining space and had everything we needed should we have stayed longer. There is a large lawn backyard that our son and dog loved running around in each morning.

My fiancée and I were supposed to stay at a very well reviewed Inn with a bunch of my former college classmates, but they had a two-night minimum and I needed only one night. For about $40 less than that Inn, we got a much nicer room than my classmates got, and check-in and out were super easy. The room was huge, clean, and well-appointed with anything one might need. We thought we must be in the wrong room because it seemed too nice for the price. We’d certainly recommend it to anyone and we’d certainly love to go back. The one glitch was our own: we forgot to bring cash to tip the cleaning staff, so I am waiting to hear if there is an address I can send the tip to electronically. I have had good luck generally with air bnb, and even among all those good experiences, this one ranked near the best of them.

The Suminksi Innski has its own vibe and attracts people who hopefully get it. No one builds homes like this anymore, and fills it with wonderful eclectic art. It felt like a privilege to stay there and take in the sounds of the Hudson River, the birds, and the train that transports you to another time and place. Tim is a great host - wonderful to sit on the porch and chat with him, the Bard students and families, and the all characters that pass by. I would highly recommend!
