We needed it just overnight traveling through. Nice and spacious. Our needs were taken care of! A quaint little place being a former store. But it was well fixed up and furnished.

We stayed for 2 nights for a quick fishing trip with our son. We checked in later in the evening, but everything was easy to figure out. The home is a vintage original building from the old times but the location was great for us neat the lake. The beds were very comfy and the decor was nice. It's like an apartment space in an old building/home. It's cute and in a vintage part of town, it definitely suited our needs and that we would stay there again if we were in that area.

We always love staying at ATOP THE SHOP when we come to town for a tumbling competition! Perfect location, great price and feels like home!

This is our third fishing trip to Lake Shelbyville and by far the best place we have stayed. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The place was clean, the kitchen was spacious and the open layout aloud us to spread out but still enjoy the company. The pull out couch is VERY hard, so bring a foam topper or something if you are sleeping on it but there are adequate pillows, sheets and covers to use. Parking the boat and truck was a little tricky in the alley but we made it work and Donna was kind enough to allow us to charge our batteries with an outlet under the deck. Donna was very accommodating, kind and responsive. We were even able to add an extra night to our trip without a lot of hassle. We will DEFINITELY try to book this place again for our next trip.

Such a well-kept home in a great location. There was plenty of room and was perfect for our family. The extra thought put in the items provided for guests was appreciated.

We had a relaxing time staying at this wonderful place for two nights. The house has plenty of space, was well-stocked and was quite peaceful. We particularly enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the back deck, where it seems you’re the only people in the world. The basketball court, swings and lovely sitting area by the pond were also a huge bonus in this space. There were multiple MASSIVE catfish and cute little fishies to feed and watch, which made it that much more special. Thanks for a great wonderful getaway!

I highly recommend staying here!!! The house seems small and dated from the outside but has ample room inside and has been pleasantly remodeled. It was extremely clean. The neighbors are quiet, friendly and respectful. Absolutely NO complaints on the stay, looking forward to visiting again!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

This place met our needs for a family get together in Arthur. The location was perfect for us and the host was responsive and easy to reach. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street and we felt perfectly safe. The place is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The house was clean and furniture was comfortable. They had everything we needed for our stay, including a pack and play for the little one to sleep in. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!
