We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Sue came to welcome us in person, which was such a kind and personal touch. She was incredibly sweet and made us feel instantly at home. Highly recommend staying here!

This was my second time staying here. It's so peaceful and private. I spotted 2 koalas on the property as well as roos. The beach across the street is very beautiful and peaceful. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

We stayed at Seacroft Chapel with our two children during our road trip across Australia, and it was truly one of the highlights of our journey! We’ve stayed at some incredible places along the way, but this one is right at the top. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the chapel itself was stunning—beautifully restored and full of charm. The beds were ultra-comfy, and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. They especially loved the trampoline, and the alpacas and Highland cows were a big hit too—so cute! The hosts were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We highly recommend this stay to others. Thank you, Sam and family, for sharing such a beautiful and memorable place with us!

Babenorek studio is an amazing build, rich with history down to its very materials such as the old goal post handrail, and the repurposed vintage windows. The property is quiet and perfect for a couple needing a relaxing getaway from the city. We were warmly welcomed by Veronica with a clean, warm house with fresh produce. We loved playing with the cheeky dog Gus and wandering around greeting the farm animals. Veronica kindly provided us with excellent recommendations to the nearby Gentle Annie for Good Friday dinner, and easy hikes nearby. Thank you Veronica (and Gus!) for a memorable weekend. What a beautiful part of the world to be in. We hope to visit again soon :)

This cottage is on a big property with other cottages and the host’s residence - you’d never know it though, it’s extremely private and we didn’t see anyone during our stay (other than the friendly alpacas coming to visit in the mornings 😁). The cottage itself is as you’d imagine it from the photos. The little reading room with big comfy chairs and a lovely view of the valley was a favourite, as was the balcony with the same view. The house is very comfortable, though the shower is tricky and one of the single beds is quite squeaky. Overall we were very happy here and would stay again.

We had a great time. We felt right at home and we really enjoyed the invitation to the ANZAC day ceremony. It was nice to get away from the city and enjoy the nature surrounding the place. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at this place. Llamas, sheep, koalas, and colourful birds welcomed us, and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful, allowing us to escape the usual hustle and bustle and truly relax. We brought food from home for our stay, but the host had thoughtfully prepared an excellent selection of pantry items, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, so there was no hassle at all. Both inside and outside the house, you can feel the host's thoughtful attention to detail, creating a comfortable and welcoming space. I recommend this place to friends who want to get away and enjoy a quiet retreat.

Relax and listen to the sounds of nature, the property is filled with beautiful bird life. We loved being close to the animals, which provided a country feel. The house is well appointed including a beautiful kitchen for cooking and spotless comfortable beds. There is a great lounge room for relaxing as well.

If you want a place to get away from it all and have all the mod cons this is the place, nothing like waking up to a fantastic view and so private never saw another person my whole stay.

I booked at very short notice and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is immaculate, and the location of very picturesque. I would totally recommend for a peaceful break.

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

We’ve been staying in Apollo Bay for a few years now because we love the town, the surrounding nature, and of course, the great coffee. Helen’s Villa is exceptionally clean and perfectly located, offering stunning views of the beautiful ranges.

We had a very small elopement in Dale and Jackie’s three storey barn house. The four of us absolutely enjoyed it. The view of ocean Is beyond description and location of the house surrounded by forests make you feel like you are in a hidden place away from the world. We only stayed for two nights which is not long enough. Dale greeted us with hospitality and showed us around the house. I love the little details Dale and Jackie put in the house , such as beautiful paintings in the bathroom, the diversity collection of tea in the kitchen. Dale is very responsive after we told him about the outdoor BBQ needs attending. He gave us tools to clean it and even a champagne to congratulate our marriage! The only downside is the sound from the roof can be quite loud in stormy nights when we slept in the loft. But ear plugs can easily fix the issue. I would recommend anyone for their future stay.

Thank you Damien for always having great communication and giving us flexibility on our departure day it was much appreciated. We would definitely stay again. It really felt comfortable and we all felt right at home. It was a great get away with family ❤️

Had really nice stay at Johanna Seaside Cottages 'Farm House', was the perfect country escape we were looking for and the kids loved collecting fresh laid eggs in the morning and having access to an indoor heated pool. Only minor complaint was not being able to connect to the internet Friday evening and not being able contact our host after 5pm. That said, the property caretake (Ben) was super helpful when he checked in the next day. Would definitely recommend if looking for a country escape along the coast.

A picturesque and peaceful property with amazing views over the ocean and Apollo Bay, yet a short drive to nearby towns and attractions. Lots of open space for children to run around. Extremely clean and tidy with everything required for a comfortable stay. Andrew was a very hospitable host and was quick to respond to our queries.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning charming residence! A full cottage with everything you need. Fully self contained. Extremely clean & tidy. Absolutely gorgeous. Garry was so lovely, he took the time to chat with us about the history of the property, and gave us wonderful tips on restaurants & things to do. He was very quick to answer queries. The gardens/surroundings were beautiful & peaceful. The main house was superb and a real spectacle. 10 min drive into Colac. 15 min drive to Beeac where we had the best lunch at the Farmers Arms hotel which is probably the best pub we’ve ever been to. Highly recommend you stay here! We will be back.

We were absolutely blown away by Jade’s place. Everything was so thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful bath products, to the tasteful decor & the extra attention paid to creature comforts. A quick stroll/drive to the main strip - with some fantastic food in town (Birregurra Grocer, Royal Mail Hotel). We were lucky enough to catch the farmer’s market (first Sunday of every month). We were charmed by the kitchen with its subway tiles & the living space was the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after a day exploring. Our dog Theo loved it too & we could tell that he felt right at home. Would recommend staying at Billie’s & we loved Birregurra.
