Auchriachan Farm sits just outside the Village of Tomintoul the Highest village in the Highlands, a family working farm. We glamped ourselves & decided this would be an ideal situation to set up our own Pods to give others the experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Being in the Glenlivet Estate & also in the Cairngorm National Park there is lots to offer, walking, cycling, bird watching, skiing, also for STARGAZING & of course our National Scottish Drink "WHISKY" lots of Distilleries to Visit.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. "This 1 bed cottage is situated in the heart of the beautiful Ballater, Royal Deeside. It has just been newly renovated making it a bit of luxury for you to relax and enjoy your stay. The bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and place to hide the suitcases, drawers and a T. V. A Z bed and a travel cot are available on request when booking. The Cabin is a self catering one room chalet that contains 2 single beds, table, chairs, armchairs and a kitchen. An enclosed bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is included. Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
