Great stay! The house was a perfect size for our family. Close to the beach and Cedar Point. Everything was very clean and as represented in the pictures!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and cozy. We appreciated that the house was stocked with many common forgotten items and had all the comforts of home. It is very close to the lake and the town of Vermillion which is so charming. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area.

Diana was extremely responsive to all of our questions. The house was in a safe area with blinds and blackout curtains to provide added privacy. The well-maintained house was comfortable and close enough to the park and beach for daily walks with our dog. The home even provided supplies like crate and waste bags for your pet. The noise from the busy street was not even noticeable inside the home. We have heard train noise in all homes where we have stayed (even our family) over the years - it’s just a given in the area. This home has the best insulation and I only noticed the train twice while sleeping. The heat works great and we even set the thermostat 5 degrees lower than we keep it at home. We plan to make this our first choice for future visits.

The setting is lovely, right on the edge of the Lake. There are decks overlooking the lake, and one was covered so we could enjoy sitting outside, even when it rained. There are many outdoor chairs and tables, and we easily accommodated some relatives when they visited. We rented both 901 and 905 Blossom and that worked well for our group. Lori is an awesome host who organized both houses for us on short notice on great inconvenience to herself. SHe was responsive and helpful.

Absolutely loved staying here with family for my dad and I bday week. The views are worth it. Highly recommend and would come back!

Old Homestead community is very quiet and relaxing. Nice family friendly location. Close to restaurants, huron pier, cedar point, nature parks. House was great for my husband and I. It is an updated cottage with room AC units snd ceiling fans that worked well for recent 90’s temps. Nice outdoor area in backyard. Would rent again for weekend trip. No dishwasher in unit. Indoor table in kitchen has a microwave on it. Table could be set up inside small kitchen but would have to move microwave somewhere. We ate outside using outdoor table. The lack of dishwasher and table were minor inconveniences for our trip. House has super fun beach house vibe and is beautifully updated.
