Our group thoroughly enjoyed the Victorian charm of this treasure. It is delightfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The beds are great, the lighting is good and the water is hot! Katie was very helpful and attentive to our peculiar needs right out of the gate and saw to it that we got what we needed. Even her father-in-law got in on the action as we needed extra assistance with turning on the second gas valve for the grill, which works quite well! The location of this gem was perfect for our needs, as we wanted to travel around the area, exploring the Driftless Region. There was more to see and do than we had time for. There is so much natural beauty in this area and it is rich with history! We can’t wait to return to make more memories in the future.

This was the perfect place to stay for our hiking trip to Pikes Peak/Wyalusing. The residential area was quiet. The space was clean and cozy. We will definitely stay again if it’s available when we return to the area for more hiking!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay. We are retired and looked forward to a restful vacation in a comfortable place…and that’s what we got. Comfortable beds, clean, well-stocked kitchen and easy to walk around town. Pikes Peak is a beautiful park with many walking trails and spectacular views. We look forward to a return visit.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect, quiet getaway. I was able to truly unwind and relax here. Paula is great. Always responsive, keeps the property looking amazing and the tiny home is well kept. This will be my go to for getaways. Thank you!

As the person who always beelines for the binder of local information and reads it cover to cover when staying at an Airbnb, this place was a dream! I learned so much about the area from Anita’s historical writing and plethora of brochures. I will definitely be back thanks to Anita’s hospitality and the cozy feel of the place. The perfect location to explore nearby parks with great bluff views and visit all the local small businesses!

Nikki's cottage was perfect for our weekend! Conveniently located near downtown and accessible to everything. Nikki was very responsive with questions and even recommended a few events happening in town while we were there! Would 10/10 recommend and come back again!

We rented the 1886 Cottage for a girls weekend. Such a warm and inviting home. We were all in love with the decor and furnishings as soon as we walked in. Our hosts were amazing. From the booking to saying goodbye to the adorable house, everything was perfect! We plan to stay again! Thank you, Pat!
