Aiden's place was perfect for my visit: extremely clean, well-furnished, comfortable, and remarkably quiet. While I didn't spend much time there (the grandkids live close by and all daylight hours were spent with them), it felt like a secure and private option for my evenings, offering everything I could have wanted. I never met the host in person, but all of his communications (and fulfillment of my requests) were prompt and cordial. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a month, and it was truly wonderful. An amazing place, a kind and thoughtful host, and—if you’re lucky—some adorable little cat and dog friends you might get to meet. They were never a bother during our stay; honestly, I think I was the one bothering them! It felt like a month out of a movie—such a happy, peaceful time. This is a nice and spacious basement apartment of a larger family home located in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood. The owners’ garden is lovely and quiet and there are windows in the apartment for light and fresh air. The shower is powerful and spacious with plenty of hot water. The kitchen had just what we needed, too. Perfect for a couple. Very private and peaceful and walking distance to restaurants. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay - the space was cute and clean and the location was perfect for our needs. Travelled with young kids and a pup and everyone was happy.

We just stayed here one night but the space was just what we needed. This is a really lovely, clean apartment, exactly as described. Super spacious and bright for a basement unit! Albert was friendly and quick to respond. Love the neighborhood too.

Lisa and Jame's lower level apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable. They went above and beyond to supply their guests with far more than just the basics. We were particularly impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was, the added bathroom amenities and the cotton robes in the closet. The neighborhood was lovely, and a quiet oasis from the business of Portland. We would gladly stay here again for future trips.

I had a rough arrival to Vancouver because of plane delays, but Susan was super helpful and asked if we needed anything in the morning. She was able to help us out with those items and even bought us some fruit. The place felt homey from the minute you walk in. The bed was very comfortable and fluffy. The kitchenette area has everything you need and a good selection of coffee. The bathroom was spacious and had a washer and dryer. The backyard area is serene. The apartment space is connected to a larger house that Susan lives in, but it doesn’t feel like we were in someone’s house. It still felt like our own special space. I think I enjoyed the trip mostly because this place had just a chill, relaxed vibe. I would definitely visit again and choose this place if it is available.

I am so thankful for this Air BnB. I was looking for a place for guests for my upcoming wedding and was excited to find somewhere so close to our home on short notice. Sally was friendly, super responsive, and gave great directions for guests. While I was unable to see the unit for myself, my guests raved about the garden and decor. They loved the thoughtfulness and peaceful sleep they were able to get. They also expressed wanting to rent there again when they return to visit. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and open communication. Your unit took provided us with a lot of peace of mind.

We have stayed here before and we will stay here again. Everything is to our liking. If the location works for you (it does for us because it is near our daughter's house), then it is a great place.

We loved staying here for a quick weekend trip to Portland. Plenty of space for four adults. Most importantly, walking distance to some of our favorite Portland restaurants and adorable neighborhoods to explore! Loved the location and it was super easy to check in and out.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The space was clean and perfect for what we needed. There was a lot of great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance, which was wonderful! Instructions clear and host included a helpful guide for things nearby.

Zoe’s place was spacious and comfortable. Great location with restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores nearby. She was very responsive and helpful during our stay. The office room was a gem since I work from home and I was able to get a lot of work done. We highly recommend staying here!

This the 2nd time we have stayed here. We attend a Event in Portland at this time every year. Louise's place is so close to the airport, and easy to get to. Much more comfortable and spacious than a hotel room for about the same , or less cost. Well worth the price. We really like staying here when we are in town. Quiet area with no traffic at the end of a dead end st. Nice couch with built in loungers at each end. Love the little free standing gas stove for that little extra ambience if you stay in for the evening. Just a great place to stay. Louise is very quick to get back to you for any questions you may have. We also loved the welcome package waiting for us. Not often there's a bottle of Wine, plus some other nice goodies. Highly recommend this place. We'll be back Steve & Stephanie Daly
