we loved it. very spacious with room for our family of 4. very close to Kaikoura proper, super close to the shore and a gorgeous track. owners are great with great recommendations. we'd def stay again if we come back to New Zealand. gorgeous area!

This was truly one of the best Airbnb we’ve ever experienced. Amanda’s house was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, and the hot tub was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!!

We loved the peaceful area, absolutely breathtaking views, outdoor tub and unreal sunrises from the cabin. We loved unplugging, quick trips to check the surf and the slow comfort of the space. Fantails came to visit daily and the stargazing was awesome. Truly a special space and we hope to return someday!

Amazing place with incredible scenery in both poor and good conditions. Great for an exciting adventure with all of the usual comforts once indoors, really enjoyable to live in a simple and minimal way up in the mountains.

We had a lot of rain during our visit to St Arnaud, but Ben & Marcia’s house was a beautiful spot to just relax and enjoy the views of the lake! It was also a perfect place to return to, to get warm and dry again after doing some exploring in the rain. The house was spotless, comfortable and well set up with everything we could need. As a household with 2 Coeliacs, I was super impressed to find a gluten free only toaster! Our son particularly enjoyed to old school spacies machine. We hope to return sometime and explore the area more.

Wonderful stay a the cottage. 30 min walk into town and right on the water with lots of walking trails. Perfect location.

Such a stunning location and property. Waking up to a Mountain View, such stunning views you can look at all day. Highlights were spending time in the hot tub watching the stars and seeing the Milky Way. Doing yoga on the terrace with the mountains and sea in view. Memories to last a lifetime. The chalet itself was finished to such a high standard. Couldn’t fault it. We stayed with our 4 and 1 year old and all provisions were supplied to make the stay with little ones possible and easygoing. Highly recommend a stay at Mountain View.
