The place and the location were absolutely stunning and we loved tending to and then sitting in the hot tub at sunset.

Summer or winter, this alpine setting has ALOT to offer. We made the most of the landscape by hiking, biking and animal spotting. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the stars emerge without any light pollution.

We revisited Adam's house in 2025 after enjoying a stay in 2024. It's a terrific place to spend time. The kitchen and living area are large and well planned. The bedrooms each have a toilet/shower and this was perfect for our team. We visited for an adventure race and being able to get up at different times and to all shower rather than having to queue was fabulous. I'd highly recommend this house for anyone who has a crew who tend to work on different schedules. Thanks for another lovely stay.

We had a lovely weekend at Richard’s. Perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. With mixed weather we got to make the most of both the fire place and hotpool but also the swimming pool on the hot day. Highly recommend the farm tour - such a beautiful place and Richard was an excellent guide and host!

Although it was only one night, it was a special experience. Being able to hear the voices of animals and birds so close is another perk of this hotel. The feeding, which started at 9 a.m.was a particularly exciting experience for our children. This is a highly recommended accommodation for those who are highly environmentally conscious. thanks！

Such a fun, quirky place with an amazing view! :-) We had a lovely time staying in the wagon and watching the llamas, can happily recommend.

Kevin's House Truck was great - funky, comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. Location is great, close to Kaikōura and all the major tours and activities. It's a shame we only had one night to stay here because we could have easily stayed longer.

Lieu atypique et plein de charme. Nos enfants ont adoré dormir dans l’ancien garage des diligences avec les selles des chevaux exposées comme décoration. Mike et Linda ont été très accueillant et nous ont fait faire le tour de la propriété qui réserve de nombreuses surprises! Malgré le temps pluvieux nous avons passé un très bon moment !

We had a faultless stay - the yurt was so fun, very well decorated, well equipped with coffee, tea, farm fresh eggs, bread and jam. The bed and chairs were very comfortable and the kitchen was clean and well equipped also - nice and rustic! We love camping and this was super fun glamping. Don't expect a 5 star resort, it's a unique glamping experience - we've never seen anything like it and we loved it! We went on a llama trek one day (highly recommend - another unique experience!) and fed the animals on the farm the following day - a really great experience! They have other "wacky" accommodation too including a train carriage, teepee, gypsy truck and large old horse drawn wagon - so cool! Would definitely want to try out the wagon next time too... Kevin was friendly, welcoming and helpful! Genuinely loved this place. A highlight of our two weeks in NZ for sure!

This is a lovely place to stay surrounded by lavender fields and the mountains. The cottage is spacious and has everything you need. Myra provided fresh bread, yoghurt and musli in the morning.

Such a nice place to stay if you have kids who love animals or if you love animals yourself. The teepee was very comfortable and clean with lots of space inside. The outdoor kitchen was fun to cook in and has everything you need. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Being able to feed the animals was a bonus that our kid really enjoyed (he did it 3 times!). Plus having all the animals around us (but fenced off, only the chickens, the ducks and the puppy dog managed to squeeze under the fence and could come around our teepee) was really nice. Of course, it's a farm, so don't expect silence. The rooster will sing early and you will hear the chickens and the sheep soon after. It's was a very fun experience, I highly recommend the place!

Comfortable home with everything we needed, spacious and location was great

very convenient bach in terms of space for bigger groups. Handy sleepout. Spacious house with good outdoor seating. A short drive into Kaikoura. Beautiful beach across the road if you go for a short walk through the forest.

We absolutely loved this place, highly recommend staying here. Kitchen had everything you'd need, including a slow cooker which came in handy! Lots of space both inside and out (our party was 4 adults plus our toddler). Also the hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely be coming again.

Great location! And a very comfortable place - with a spectacular morning sunrise view! A little bit of a walk to reach the beach and coffee shops - but the quiet location was worth it!

Very nice place, clean and modern. The host was helpful and gave us clean towels every day. The kitchen is a little small for a longer stay but still functional.
