Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. At '235' you will have your own private space to enjoy day or night. The comfortable sofa bed can be made up ready for your arrival or left as a sofa for you to relax. Staying in the centre of town, close to takeaways, a brewery, galleries, shops, park and Carlingwalk Loch. Facilities include a 50" smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, table and chairs. Free WiFi. On street parking outside the property. Set a stones throw away from Loch Ken, the Gardeners Cottage is ideally located to explore the Galloway Forest park, the beautiful secluded beaches dotted along our coastline and of course Loch Ken. We are a five minute drive to Castle Douglas where there are supermarkets and restaurants, and on the outskirts Threave Gardens ( NTS ).

Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole area.This is a non pet property.

Two miles outside Castle Douglas food town, embedded amongst lovely local walks and attractions. We are also only 6 miles from the gorgeous town of Kirkcudbright with a range of lovely shops and eateries at the harbour front. This is the perfect peaceful and cosy getaway!
