Great location for the beach and easy walk into Felixstowe. Lovely home with lots of space and very comfortable. Karen was great in communicating and even allowed us an earlier check in which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great location and very modern house. Was a little dusty and clearly hadn't been hoovered very thoroughly throughout. Reasonably well-equipoed kitchen but disappointed to not have had a coffee machine in such a high-end looking house. Handwritten notes in Sharpie on pieces of paper posted around the house made it feel a little shabby. All said though, the sunsets are magnificent from all angles!

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

We had such an amazing stay at Crow’s Nest, from the minute we booked with Amanda she has been a fantastic host. She is super responsive and gave plenty of fun local recommendations. We were really grateful to Amanda who was able to let us in earlier than usual check in time. When we arrived she had prepared a beautiful hamper with Prosecco, a loaf of bread and all the essentials. Everything we needed was there for us. The whole house was beautifully done and looks just like the photos (if not even better in person). The house was pristine and felt brand new. The property had such a great feel to it, we loved that the kitchen went straight out into the garden where we could enjoy the sun in the day and fire pit in the evening. Amanda was such a lovely host and we would definitely recommend this Airbnb to any group looking for a trip away to the seaside. We can’t wait to stay again! Thank you Amanda!

Really loved our stay at Lee’s place over the Easter weekend. It’s spotless and there are details he hadn’t mentioned which really helped us out, travelling with a 3 year old (eg blackout blinds, a highchair and a clever child’s seat built in to the loo seat lid). It had a lovely feel to it and we were at home right away. Very much enjoyed walking along the seafront to Harwich old town. Having an Asda a short walk away is v helpful too. Would love to return in summer and am already looking at dates. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

spotlessly clean and very comfortable. would definitely stay again. the only slight disappointment was that the description referred to views of the harbour and beach and they are named harbour view but there was no view. it didn't spoil the trip though.

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

We had a wonderful 4 days at the barn with our family. Great that we grandparents had our own ‘suite’ upstairs away from the early morning mayhem of the grandchildren! The barn is in the most perfect setting. The children loved the short walk to the private riverside beach where they built sandcastles and paddled in the river. We enjoyed long walks along the river almost making it to the Ramsholt Arms. Sutton Hoo is really close by as are Aldeburgh, Orford, Bawdsey and Shingle Street. All worth a visit!

Very comfortable, well equipped caravan. Travel cot easy to put in largest bedroom. Good amenities, bonus of small bath ideal for babies. Lovely decking area which catches the sun and clear easy instructions for access. Will be booking again!

What made our stay so great was the communication we had with Daisy. There were a few snags, parking, getting in the complex late at night without a key code, heating and water didn’t work the first day and the light in the kids room didn’t work. That said, she was incredibly helpful and polite. All sorted quick as a flash. Very clean, free WiFi, all you needed for a nice weekend break. Would 100% go again and recommend to any family. We’re a family of 5 and it was …..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!! Thankyou Daisy! 💙

We were in Felixstowe for a family emergency. Communication was very quick which was appreciated as it was all very short notice. We are familiar with the area and it’s well located with good access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The home was cosy and warm even though it was extremely cold outside when we were there.

We loved staying at Nicola’s place. It was spacious, warm and so near to the beach and we had a wonderful time. One thing that stood out was the fact that the house was beautifully decorated and it felt like families and friends had had happy times there. The garden catches the morning sun and is sheltered from the wind, we enjoyed opening the doors in the kitchen to hear the birds and enjoy a morning coffee outside.

This was our second stay at this lovely house and it was just as positive as the first. The host was proactive and helpful in their communication. The house is elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean. The setting is peaceful. Highly recommended!

Nice property very quiet yet everything within walking distance equidistant between the town centre & beach. We enjoyed some good takeaway meals and would especially recommend Joy’s Thai & The Golden Wok Chinese. Brightlingsea is very pretty with lots to do

We had a lovely stay here. The caravan is beautiful and very homely. Decent quality bedding and accessories. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Janet’s house. The house is well equipped with a large kitchen/dining space and cosy lounge. The beds were very comfortable too! It’s a great location to explore Walton and based in the quieter part towards the Naze end. The pier and town are a 5-10 min walk and the beach is really close too. Although the sun was out it was very windy so we didn’t really get to use the back garden but that would be a lovely space in the summer to relax in!!

Lovely place, local to everything, great location. House was nice and comfortable enough. There is a garden area to use which is nice to sit in. No dust anywhere, clean shower and toilets, the linen and towels were clean and fresh too. The beds are comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The host is very lovely and helpful, the neighbours are nice and so is the area. The beach is close and the shops/restaurants are too. The furniture and facilities need to be updated but it doesn’t stop you from enjoying your holiday. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting the area again. Lovely house but the shower and carpets need to be changed.

We had a wonderful stay in Dinky Cottage. Sharon went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely time. We would highly recommend Dinky Cottage to anyone wanting to visit Brightlingsea. Everything is within walking distance, enabling you to explore this quaint seaside town. The cottage itself was lovely and private and equipped with everything you'd want for a super comfortable stay. Thank you so much!! Highly recommended!

such a lovely location, great host, with great communication..the beach is a 2 minute walk away and is delightful and the whole local area...and bungalow is so dog friendly...there is a train line at the end of the garden, but it's so quiet we didn't really notice it al all...a great, restful break in great surroundings...can't fault!
