Private and cosy upstairs lodging with plenty of space for two, every amenity you could possibly imagine, as well as thoughtful snacks. We stayed over the Easter weekend and loved the cute Easter bilby on top of the Tim Tams! The location could hardly get any better in terms of balancing convenience for accessing the city, while still having a peaceful, safe suburban environment with plenty of nature and wildlife. Diana and Lew were warm and welcoming, showing us around thoroughly on arrival and kindly letting us bring our large suitcase in through the front where there were fewer stairs. Throughout our stay, they were very respectful of our privacy, giving us the feeling that we had the entire place to ourselves, while still being easily reachable at all times. It was an excellent experience and I can see why this place is a guest favourite!

Absolutely great stay—more than worth the value. Clean, no-fuss space with super clear instructions and great communication throughout. The location is ideal: a short stroll to vibrant Enmore Road and also close to Stanmore Station, so it’s incredibly convenient. Quiet, safe surroundings and a responsive, accommodating host made everything smooth. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

I had a great experience staying at Steven and Peta’s place. I was personally greeted by Steven upon arrival and felt very welcomed. It was quite easy to come and go from the cabin and I was very comfortable staying there as it was clean, well equipped, and secure. The location is quite close to the airport as well as nearby public transport, and I found it very convenient to travel to central Sydney and surrounding areas. I would love to stay here again if given the opportunity :)

Sam and Penny are wonderful couples. They are very friendly and warm. Have friendly dog Benjo have been a great help to us. This will be our official residence when we are back to Sydney again. I recommend anyone who come to Sydney to stay there.

Unser Aufenthalt war prima, die Wohnung war großzügig, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Super Verkehrsanbindung. Lokale sind leicht zu Fuß erreichbar.

David was a very welcoming host. He proactively arranged for basic groceries like eggs and bread, which turned out to be super helpful, esp because we were traveling with a kid. Strawberries in the fridge were a life saver. There were also toys for our little one to play with - one of the toys kept our son busy and occupied ;). Super helpful host.

Es war das erstes Mal dass ich ein Air bnb gebucht habe. Ich wollte eine Woche in Sydney verbringen. Die Unterkunft ist ca 15min Fußweg vom Bahnhof entfernt. Es ist eine schöne ruhige Gegend mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur 5min weiter. Mir hat das ganze Grün um der Tür sehr gefallen. Drinnen war es immer schön kühl aber auch dunkel weil keine weiteren Fenster als eins an der Tür vorhanden sind. Kommunikation war einwandfrei und immer relativ schnell. Ich bin eine Housekeeperin in Hotels also habe ich ein paar Sachen und Ecken gefunden wo es staubig war aber nichts dramatisches. Mit dem TV muss man etwas Geduld mitbringen aber lief ganz ok. Zusammenfassend hatte ich eine tolle Woche und habe mich schnell wie zu hause gefühlt.

All round high quality and very comfortable stay. Very comfy bed and I loved the huge lemon scented tree out front.

We had a fantastic stay at Lillian and Phil’s place! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. They went above and beyond with thoughtful touches — especially the Easter chocolates, which our kids loved! The garden in the frontyard was immaculate, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had — highly recommend!

I had a great time at Narelle’s studio. It has everything you need and is beautifully, tastefully, and comfortably furnished. Narelle is a fantastic host. She always checked in on my well-being, and the communication was always friendly and very easy. I would always return again and can only highly recommend both the place and Narelle as a host.

We had an excellent stay. Easy access to public transit for central Sydney, grocery shopping within walking distance, and beautiful walks in Flat Rock Gully. Gary is a great host. Would not hesitate to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was nicely styled and clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was easy to get the train from the place. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony and listening to all of the birds. The host was friendly and responsive. Yea, coffee, milk and some snacks were provided.

Our family of four enjoyed a stay at Judy’s apartment and found it perfect for our needs. The space was clean and tidy. Exactly as the photos describe and easy access to the surrounding areas for touring and grocery shopping. Judy was helpful and kind and a great host! Don’t miss the skyline sunsets from the park just up the street from her place! Thank you!

Great and peaceful place

My partner and I stayed for two nights at John's place. We found the space very accommodating, with everything we needed. The outside garden is beautiful, but sadly we had rainy weather. The location is fantastic, close to the Balmain ferry wharf, which has a great view of Sydney's Harbour Bridge. John was very welcoming and helpful. Well recommended!

This was my second time staying at Yvette’s place. A home away from home. Really comfortable and different places for me to hang out. Great breakfast options. I learned that smashed avocado on sourdough toast with sliced tomatoes sprinkled with olive oil, salt & pepper was easy and delicious to create. Yum! I also love Hornsby Aquatic Centre a couple of minutes drive - down the street. Highly recommend.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful, sunny, and spotless apartment. The space had everything you could possibly want, making it feel like a real home away from home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, going out of their way to make sure both I and my dog were comfortable and well looked after. They thoughtfully provided milk for tea and coffee, and even set out dog bowls, poo bags, and a small fence at the top of the stairs so my dog could safely enjoy the balcony. The apartment itself is quiet and peaceful, set at the back of the property with its own private entrance. A nearby park with the sound of a waterfall and lots of beautiful birds added to the calming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a caring, pet-friendly stay with genuinely lovely hosts, I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Nice place, quiet, in a great area and close to the new Metro

The studio apartment located in a glorious private garden was perfect for me and my dog. It's in a great location only 2 mins walk to the local shops and cafes, and a very pleasant 10 mins walk to the Parramatta River. The apartment is bright and airy, well set up and attractively furnished.

What a great place to stay in charming Marrickville! Scott and his family have created an incredibly wonderful setting for their AirBnB guests. The place is personal, full of character and has an incredible amount of space. The location is just brilliant. Marrickville's great streets and alleys and great breweries are within walking distance, as are a huge number of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Trains, buses and the metro will take you to all parts of Sydney very easily. Host Scott and his family are incredibly friendly and it was a pleasure to get to know them. We heard great stories and got lots of great tips for Sydney. They really care about their guests' comfort. If you're looking for something completely different from a boring Ikea catalogue-decorated home (well, who would want that, really?), this is a great great base for your stay in Sydney. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Sally’s house in Chatswood. The place was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and exactly as described—a perfect little retreat with a lovely garden view. We especially appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was, with all the appliances and dining wares we needed. It allowed us to enjoy a cozy date night with homemade roast beef and broccoli, which made our stay even more memorable. Sally was a thoughtful and responsive host throughout our visit. A special thank-you to her for kindly helping me find my ring during the post-checkout cleaning—we truly appreciated the care and effort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay in Sydney!

The loft behind Sharon’s house is roomy with a double bed, table, chairs, sofa, closet, cabinet, flatscreen TV, full size fridge, small kitchen with Nespresso machine and a bathroom with shower. The loft is clean and tidy, got to through a walk down a pathway of plants and greenery beside the house and through the back garden. There is plenty of roadside parking outside the property. Sharon is friendly and communicate well. She brought us some macarons she made and some cookies the morning we checked out. We enjoyed our stay.
