Alta does an amazing job making the morgue an interesting and cozy place to stay! From complimentary snacks and toiletries to scary decor and ghost hunting equiment, she had it all. Whether you find the Historic Morgue to be a spooky stay or not, you will certainly find it to be a fun one. We definitely recommend it if you're looking for a really unique and well-maintained place to stay in the Ozark area.

The location was peaceful. Did not know the owners lived on the property. They did give us privacy. Love the fire pit and the front porch with a smaller fire pit. Maybe add a small grill?? Just a thought. Inside was cozy. Not used to the stairs…lol!! It did give me a workout. Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Very pleasant.

Although it was freezing during my stay, I still enjoyed my time here. The tent was exactly as pictured and the porta potty in site was spotless. I will definitely return when it is a little warmer.

The place was immaculate and super easy to find. The beds were comfortable but the sofa bed needs attention. Anthum was on top of any questions I had and responded almost immediately. Next time I visit I definitely will consider renting his place again.

We truly loved our stay at this cabin. The setting is incredibly secluded — all you can hear are the sounds of nature, which made for a wonderfully peaceful experience. The property is very well-equipped, but one thing to keep in mind is that you’ll want to pick up groceries ahead of time. The drive can feel long, especially if you’re not familiar with country roads. It’s worth noting that the canoe shop wasn't renting canoes during our stay, understandably due to a personal situation with the family. It was not a major issue, but the current situation is something future guests might want to prepare for. The only small disappointment was the lack of body wash, which would have been a nice touch given how well-stocked everything else was. Cozy cabin is an accurate description of the place we stayed for a few days. While I wouldn't want to arrive after dark, any difficulty has more to do with the back country roads and relatively remote setting than anything else, which for us was a plus. The cabin was as advertised, and we didn't lack for anything we needed or expected. The shower was strong and hot. The coffee provided was robust. The setting was peaceful and quiet. This would be a great place to stay for day trips through the area.

Wow, what a place! Definitely a great find. Clean with new appliances and better tgan your average air bnb decor. With two grandchildren in the area this will be our go to place for long weekends.

We will look forward to our next trip south. our family overnight was enjoyed while staying at the Farm House. All six adults raved about the spaciousness, the setup, the kitchen is generously stocked to accomodate families. I would recommend this place if you want an overnight in the country yet close to the sight and events of Springfield.

The facility was absolutely beautiful and the home was awesome...well appointed, comfy, had extra treats, coffee pods, wonderful gas fireplace...all located in a beautiful and tranquill setting...this is my most favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I will definitely be back when I am in the area! Mark was an awesome host, and was always punctual with any questions I had. He even accomodated an early morning check-out, as I had a super early flight, and took care of some things for me that I would have typically taken care of myself...OUTSTANDING venue, all kitchen utensils, ingredients, appliances, etc. were on site...clean towels, linens, etc. on site...washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets on site, which were very nice to have...other Airbnb's require you purchase your own...I only went to the grocery story once the entire week, as this Airbnb was so well stocked...beautifully decorated as well, and awesome country setting...I would recommend this to everyone!! :)
