The house is perfect for a weekend away with friends to catch up for a chilled weekend out of the city. There’s really nice local restaurants and wine bars in st Leonards within a 10 minute walk, and Hastings is a nice beachfront 45 min walk away. I’d recommend this house for anyone looking for a chilled weekend away with friends! One thing to note for anyone looking to hire this place (not a bad thing) - one of our party recently got engaged so we blew up some balloons for a champagne toast one night. We were a very chilled bunch and stayed out of the house most of the time, but the host did try and charge us £150 for the few deflated balloons we accidentally left in the downstairs bathroom. We did a thorough clean and stuck very closely to the rules of this property, but I would not recommend this house if you are wanting to have parties or spend lots of time in the house. I would only recommend if you are using the house as a place to chill together and explore the local area!

Die Wohnung liegt mitten in London, in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Straße. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, und obwohl der Weg in den 4. Stock etwas herausfordernd ist, lohnt sich der Aufstieg absolut! Die Wohnung entspricht genau den Bildern – alles ist blitzsauber und bestens ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts, und die hochwertige Einrichtung sorgt für ein echtes Wohlfühlambiente. Besonders angenehm: Im Badezimmer gibt es sogar Rituals-Produkte. Beatrix hat auf unsere Fragen immer sehr schnell und lösungsorientiert reagiert. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Diese Unterkunft ist eine 10/10 – wir kommen gerne wieder und können sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was pristine and homely with everything we could need. Sarah and Mark have clearly put a lot of thought into the layout and furnishings etc so it's easy to settle in right away. The secure garden was perfect for our dog while enjoying the views, and the location was great for exploring the area - quiet enough but within easy reach of local amenities attractions. Our children were even able to visit the sheep and collect some eggs from the chickens for themselves (and were most impressed with a huge double-yolker!!) :) Thank you both for a wonderful stay and we hope to return in the future.

Title: A Truly Memorable and Restorative Stay Review: I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Gerston Hall Wine Keeper's Annexe in Strrington. The hosts, Lisa and Martyn, were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always approachable and responded to any questions promptly and courteously, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. The accommodation was exactly as described—peaceful and comfortable. Upon arrival, I was touched to find a thoughtful selection of breakfast essentials including bread, milk, butter, homemade jam, coffee, and tea. This warm gesture was a lovely welcome and set the tone for the rest of the stay. The surrounding nature was absolutely beautiful. I woke each morning to the sound of birdsong and ended each day marvelling at the star-filled night sky. Visiting in spring meant I was lucky to see fresh green foliage, bluebells, and wild garlic in full bloom, creating a truly picturesque and healing landscape. The property includes a vast vineyard. Maria's place looks just like the pictures. It is located in a decent neighborhood with easy access to the bus station (2 mins) and the subway station (20 mins). You will need to climb some stairs as the flat starts from the 3rd floor. The living room is spacious, beautiful and stylish, and the bedrooms are quiet. We had a great stay in Maria's B&B.

Das wichtigste vorweg: wir waren mehr als zufrieden und unsere Erwartungen wurden deutlich übertroffen. Bereits im Vorfeld hatte Claires Assistentin Luisa Kontakt zu mir aufgenommen und erste Tipps gegeben, wie wir am Anreisetag zueinander kommen. Sie erwartete uns dann bereits in der Wohnung, um uns die Besonderheiten der Wohnung zu beschreiben (Heizung, Küche, Terrasse etc.) sowie ein paar Tipps zu geben, wo wir einkaufen können und wie wir schnell ins Zentrum gelangen. Diese Tipps waren Gold wert. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. An einigen Tagen gab es Flugzeuggeräusche, aber sie störten nur morgens und waren hilfreich, um den Tag nicht zu vergeuden. Im weiteren Verlauf hatten wir keinen Kontakt zu Luisa oder Claire, weil wir einfach rundum zufrieden waren. Jederzeit würden wir wieder in dieser schönen Wohnung Quartier beziehen. Second time staying here and another amazing experience. Would go back again

Notre hote initial nous a annulé notre reservation deux semaines à l avance pour le mettre plus cher. Au final c etait sans doute un mal pour un bien. Le logement de Shima était extrêmement bien situé, avec bus et eurostar à proximité et de nombreux magasins. L hôte nous a fourni des explications très claires pour l arrivée, ce fut tres simple de prendre possession du logement. Le logement etait fidèle aux photos, la literie très confortable et le quartier était très calme. Quant à Shima, elle est hyper réactive dans ses réponses et prend même des nouvelles sur place. Je recommande pour un séjour réussi à londres. Merci 😉
