Our stay at Angus’ place was wonderful. Despite the storm, we felt cosy and comfortable in the space and it was perfect to retreat back to after a long walk. Angus and Libby were very kind and helped us check in so we felt right at home.

A lovely little house, that is very well equipped, in a great village and is a good base to explore Somerset. Garth was a very helpful and responsive host.

Jane’s attention to detail shows throughout the cottage. The bed and duvet so comfortable. It was refreshing that there weren’t pages and pages of instructions to read, and even had a cafetière and good coffee

We had a lovely stay. Stuart and Debbie were so friendly and helpful with everything. Lovely nice touches to the stay. Would recommend highly to others. Thank you for an amazing break.

I loved staying here. I felt right at home. A lovely place to stay with generous and lovely hosts. Breakfast is particularly good. There is so much to do in the area I could have stayed longer!

Jo's place is beautiful and cosy, with a big living area and kitchen that is shared by the other guests. We didn't see anyone else when we were there and had the space to ourselves, including the open fire. Jo is friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again, perhaps with family and/or friends next time as there are four rooms.

We couldn’t have been made more welcome by Patricia to her warm and cosy accommodation. A late arrival from the ferry was no trouble and the provisions left for us were much appreciated. We only stayed one night but felt right at home and would highly recommend it.

Wow! What can I say!!! Let’s start with my dad always has a negative thing to say and he LOVED this place! My kids had their own room and my daughter loved the dining room with the books and the door to make it private! I loved the home aspect of it. We have been traveling now for a few years and this really felt like somewhere we could stay for more than a week. The eggs bread milk and cider where such a bonus that made our arrival less stressful as we have a toddler. I saw the baby gates and baby items. Such a pro if traveling with littles. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and game room. My daughter and dad woke up early just to play ping-pong before we left. Thank you again Mary & Sophie. Next time we come to England we will be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful four night stay at Tracey’s annex with parking. It was very clean and smelt lovely and fresh. Tracey offers the most generous and tasty breakfast package with anything replenished as needed, as well as toiletries. Tracey is available for anything you may need or wish to know but your privacy is respected as the annex was totally private. It was close to the beach and also the centre of Charmouth. There is a fish and chip shop as well as two pubs for evening meals. I would highly recommend The Royal Oak, where booking is recommended. There is also The George which is larger but does not take bookings. Also in Charmouth is a cafe, a bakery and a Nisa store.

Although I agree with some previous comments about some updating being needed it catered for my needs. The bedroom/lounge was comfortable and roomy. The shower had been just redone and well with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking within the pub carpark gave me peace of mind. Overall I had an enjoyable stay a stones throw from the famous Gold Hill. Daniel is a very friendly host and always went the extra mile with any request. Recommended.

It was the second time I’ve stayed at Carla’s place and I think that says everything! Really great host and homely feel to the guest suite, plus a super comfy bed. The location is easy to find, and the welcome folder of local restaurants and things to do is really helpful for visitors wanting to explore the area. I’m sure I’ll be back next time I’m in the area, either for work or a holiday. Thanks again, Carla!

We had a great stay in this apartment - very clean and beautifully decorated and an ideal place to stay with a dog. We loved the sitting area with a smart TV and the fact that we could use the hot tub too. There were little extras like Croissants in the freezer and orange juice in the fridge which were lovely touches. Perfect location too-a 5 minute drive to Lulworth Cove where we walked to Durdle Door. We also visited Corfe Castle and Old Harry Rocks. Already recommended to a friend 😊

So happy I found Jo and her beautiful accommodation. My dog and I felt so welcomed and at home. Just beautiful garden and property. very peaceful surrounds full of birds and nature. We’ll definitely be returning .

I'd come back here in a flash! Clare described how to get here so well it made everything simple. She was so generous with dietary needs and the file that explained everything in the flat was extremely clear. Everything is on the ground floor. Not having stairs made this particularly accessible for me. Thanks so much Clare!

Mary’s Annexe was perfect for our brief stay for a local wedding! The place was spotless and had everything we could need. Mary left us thoughtful instructions and was the perfect host! I’d recommend to anyone!

Jane and Paul's Hayloft is a cozy, comfortable space with lots of interesting memorabilia and pictures, matching what you see in the photos. Paul was on hand to welcome me, and Jane stopped by later to make sure I understood how everything worked. The Hayloft is well placed for visitors using on foot and/or using public transport, although I recommend taking a taxi from the railway station if you've got heavy luggage. The town itself is very walkable, with lots to see and do. The high street - Cheap Street - is bustling, with more unique -and ordinary - shops than some towns of twice its size.

Fantastic hosts and fabulous room. The breakfast was a lovely surprise and much appreciated before we headed out to dive for the day. The facilities in the room along with a bowl of snacks was much appreciated and the bathroom was large and well presented.

We really loved staying here - our getaways with a toddler + 2 dogs can be stressful, but this was such a great place to stay that it removed all stress. The location was peaceful and quiet, the village itself was small and walkable for the local pub and playground for our daughter. It was easy to drive to local tourist spots and all the roads were fine. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. Can’t thank our hosts enough for such a pleasant stay.

Trish and Roger were so welcoming, made us feel at home. The breakfast was a very welcome plus for us as we were heading off early to attend a funeral and it saved us having to find somewhere. Their dog was very sweet too.

Our stay at Jackie and Steve’s home was fantastic! The room was spotless, cozy, and just as advertised. Jackie and Steve were exceptional hosts, offering an impressive variety of delicious breakfast options that catered to every taste. David en Paul zijn duidelijk ervaren hosts. heel aardig, open (en grappig) en super behulpzaam. wij raden deze airbnb van harte aan. Mochten we ooit in de buurt weer wat gaan doen dan komen we graag weer genieten van het heerlijke ontbijt!

Perfect location in beautiful surroundings. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to all the nearby tourist locations, villages, pubs and beaches. Cannot fault anything. The accommodation was very cosy and Maria is a perfect host. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location, warm welcome. The breakfast was delicious. We also went for the raclette experience in the evening which was a great success (including Joey's tasty dessert). Peter is very attentive, we had everything we needed in thar lovely base to explore the Isle of Purbeck.
