We had a very nice stay, within easy reach of Alton towers and lots of shops and nice restaurants in the area. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Really lovely home, very short stroll to the village centre which has some great restaurants and shops. Our 16 month old really appreciated playing with the wide variety of children’s books and toys and on the children’s slide & swing in the garden. Would stay again!

Great place to spend a few days! Amazing location to The Ashes Barn wedding venue as well as lovely local parks. The accommodation was small but adequate, loved the porch area for all bags and dog stuff! Bedroom definitely big enough for a travel cot and a plus having a bath to clean the little one! Have recommended it to others already :)

We had a lovely time staying at Frog Manor. Richard was very helpful and flexible and the home and grounds were vast and beautiful. We were lucky enough to be there on a hot weekend so we spent a lot of time at the outside patio area, where there is a hot tub, outside bathroom and a great outdoor cooking space with a gas bbq, outdoor sinks and counter space. All the bedrooms were lovely and spacious, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Overall I couldn’t recommend Frog Manor more!

We had a fantastic stay for the Easter weekend. We were 5 adults and 3 children, and the house worked perfectly for us. It was much bigger than we expected, with lots of different spaces for the kids to explore and play, loads of toys and books and a fantastic communal kitchen and dining area where we spent most of our time. The house is in a great location for exploring the Peak District and we had some brilliant walks and pub lunches not too far away. It was great value and we had everything we needed in the house, with excellent communication beforehand too. Thanks, we hope to come back one day!

We had an amazing time and Lynsey is a fantastic host! The house is lovely and has everything you could need. The location is stunning and the local area is full of beautiful scenery and lovely villages - our entire stay was a dream!

We had a wonderful stay at this property, a light, bright modern property with plenty of space for a larger family and would definitely stay again if visiting this area.

Great place to stay in the center of Leek for visiting friends and family, comfortable beds, good shower and handy off street parking for one car but ample on street parking also available. The Indian restaurant directly over the road is one of the best we’ve ever visited. Brilliant our dogs could come too, will definitely be back.

Quite a detailed process of booking, some of which I missed. Andrew was quick to help us and had the apartment lovely and warm on arrival.

Absolutely perfect apartment. Beautifully furnished and exceptionally equipped with all you need for a relaxing break. Very clean and bright. Every inch is aesthetically pleasing and lots of interesting magazines and books to relax with. With two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is excellent value. There were so many thoughtful extras provided too. Plenty of high quality coffee, tea and other beverages. Fresh milk, bread, butter and fruit as well as cereals, spreads etc. Sue is a very lovely hostess and made sure we had a great stay. All set in a fabulous village location in the Cheshire countryside. 100% Recommend a stay here.

Wow what can I say we absolutely loved our stay , we had two days of fun at Alton Towers which was only a 20 min drive from the apartment! So coming back to a calm , clean , warm and peaceful setting was just what we needed. The apartment felt like home from home , it was everything we could ask for and more . We had the best sleep , honestly cam not say enough about how perfect our stay was , already planning on returning next year .

The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well located to reach the Kinder Scout hiking trail in Edale 10 mins away by train. There is a Sainsbury's 1 minute from the flat so it is easy to pick up anything you need during your stay. Having a car is always preferable in this part of the country for convenience, but train links are available and easy to use. Would definitely rebook here if the opportunity arises.

James was a really responsive and helpful host and the accommodation was is exactly as described , we will hook again.

Lovely apartment, clean, tidy and offered plenty of space for us (2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs). The property was really warm and cosy even without the heating on. We found it very easily and chose to park in the car park directly outside the property (was about £7 for 48hrs) although had our car been a little smaller we could have easily parked in the space provided. The best bit of this lovely property is the perfect location. It’s right on the doorstep of some fabulous walks, we didn’t need to use the car at all to access some great views. If you like viaducts this is the place for you! The property is equally in perfect distance from the facilities that New Mills offers, with a 2 min walk to supermarket and take aways. Hosts were quick to respond to my en route enquiry with a friendly and helpful reply. We’d happily stay again !

Lovely Apartment in a great location for visiting the beautiful places in the area . It had everything needed for our stay with a lot of thoughtful extras . Claire was an extremely responsive host. Parking was easy for 2 cars on the local roads and there were plenty of places to shop eat and drink nearby.

Had a lovely stay at Squirrel’s Leap. The apartment is great and looks just like the photos - the desk alcove was actually quite a bit bigger than it looked online which was a bonus! Everything was really clean, loved all the colourful art and furnishings. Very comfy bed. The apartment is behind a locked gate and feels secure and private. It’s a very peaceful area and a good place for a relaxing break. I didn’t drive but it was really easy to Uber everywhere and less than £5 from Wilmslow station. Chris was really friendly and helpful before and during my visit. Highly recommended as a host.

Susan’s apartment was perfect for our needs — small but equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Located just a 20-minute train ride from Manchester Piccadilly, it’s a convenient base for visiting the city while enjoying the peace and quiet of a well-kept residential area. The neighborhood is charming and feels very safe. Communication with Susan was smooth, and the check-in process was easy and flexible. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely modern, clean and spacious flat with everything you need. Great communication from the hosts including very clear instructions and map. Perfect place to stay for events at Rookery hall, we’d happily stay again.
