Just a little getaway after Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and a must say what a gem of a place. Calm and peaceful surroundings with all the amenities you need inside the cottage, Cosy, Clean and beautiful, everything you need for a few days away to take your mind off things. The hot tub is a brilliant place after a long day to chill, relax and take your mind off everything that is going on. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful little place in the not too distant future. 👍

Booked the place for 2 nights. It was absolutely amazing looks exactly like the pictures. Clean and the hut tub was great, I was amazed by the capacity of people that could fit in the hot tub. BBQ was also great. The place was very clean and well presented when we got there. Would definitely pay another visit near future. Thank you Ayti.

Had a great long weekend at the cottages. The cottage was really nice and cosy and with everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and clean. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous place,incredibly peaceful with stunning views. Lovely and clean with everything you need. We had an amazing break. The children loved seeing the sheep and cows in the garden. They had lots of lovely toys and books left for them to play with. Which was very kind of Mary. The hot tub was amazing with a beautiful view. Mary was an amazing host so kind and friendly. Just a text message away. I would highly recommend this place you will feel relaxed and recharged after staying at Sheep Meadow. Thank you for everything Mary and will definitely be back.

I have to say that this a real gem, probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Beautiful house perfectly fitted out, the host had thought very hard about this. Contact and communication with the host was seamless, she responded in minutes. If you are looking for a base in Stoke on Trent this is perfect, a small village location with two pubs a small independent brewery all dog friendly all great value for food and drink. A traditional chip shop( superb) a great sandwich shop and a very well stocked co op. Very Cosy and warm, lovely safe garden if you have a dog. Easy links to bus routes if needed , parking directly outside. Main supermarkets nearby Out of ten I would give eleven, it really is that good.

What a beautiful cottage, with great history. Love the fact file in the cottage of the hard work of this restoration project. Fantastic wild life surrounds the cottage and we were fortunate to book in lambing season, so got to see the lambs feeding and skipping right around the cottage. They were very intrigued with our little chihuahua. I never knew how inquisitive sheep are! We had a Chaffinch that is clearly very tame that landed on the kitchen door. The cottage itself is pristinely clean, the cleanest place we have stayed, it made me feel throughly spoilt and not have to clean before I settled in. The communication was excellent and the information of local things to do was fantastic. We did Teggs Nose, Macs Forest and Shutlingsloe circular walk and Shining Tor, Cats Tor and Errwood Hall Circular. There is so much more exploring we would like to do. We visited The Peak View Tea Rooms, Leather’s Smithy, and the Cat and Fiddle distillery. This cottage is certainly a walkers paradise.

We had a lovely stay at Hollowcowhey farm - the location is stunning set right in the middle of the Peak District. We enjoyed watching the lambs in the field, as well as spotting hares and birds, and walks from the doorstep. The barn was comfortable and warm. We also both worked remotely while there and the wifi was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Sue is a lovely host who was friendly with excellent communication. Owls Loft is a fantastic place to stay, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The dogs loved the paddock and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset on evening. We were very sad to leave and would definitely come back again.

Thank you Jane, Welcomed upon arrival. We’d had a long journey & Jane came over briefly and explained everything to us concisely & wished us a lovely stay! Superb location that included beautiful strolls along the fields! Great for walking & getting lost in the beautiful scenery. Jane’s place was spotless! Bedding & towels were lovely. Could not find one downside anywhere. The waterfall Three Shires is a five minute drive (cafe along the roadside). We parked up & took a lovely hour stroll to find it! Our first trip to a waterfall & not the last. Very attractive place & great location. The village of Leek was around a 10 minute drive & has everything in it that you need! Thank you Jane.

Another lovely stay at Pinfold Barn. There were five adults and three dogs in our party with plenty of room for everyone. This is a lovely, spacious, clean, warm and comfortable house with great amenities. The garden is secure for the dogs and it’s a real bonus to have the enclosed field for them to run around in. Also plenty of space for us all to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. Ali is a great host. She is extremely flexible with check in and out times and left us some lovely goodies which were much appreciated. We highly recommend this lovely barn. Thank you Ali!

I absolutely loved this place, and so did my dog. It was so well catered for people with dogs, which is very rare! Stunning property, so relaxing and peaceful and beautiful sunsets from the front. Beds were sooo comfy too. It was so homely, absolutely loved it. Dog shower was fabulous too. We will be back next year :) Thanks xx

Loved our stay above the stables. Shelley was responsive and very friendly - I would definitely come back here! The space was perfect for a little weekend away and had everything we needed - a comfy bed, cookware, salt, pepper, olive oil - Shelley even left us a little jug of milk! The area was super quiet aside from the birds and horses which was rather pleasant and the location was perfectly central for us to visit Alton towers, Chester and Stafford. The nearby Nantwich has lots of options for supermarkets etc. which was very handy too! Would recommend 😊

Tucked away down a quiet lane, Mimi’s cottage provides a comfortable and private space to get away from the hustle and bustle. Feels like you’re in the middle of the countryside but at the same time it’s within easy reach of Alderley Edge’s fashionable centre. Very enjoyable stay exploring the area.

What a charming duplex apartment, a really quiet leafy part of town but with amenities close by. Super comfy bed and sofa. Donna-Marie & Ryan where super helpful when we had an issue with the washer door. Apartment heats up well, lovely and cozy and with a parking space. Would highly recommend and would book again if in the area. Thanks again guys x

The downstairs is so well planned, with a lovely kitchen/ conservatory space, and the lounge doors fully open to extend the space if needed. Very airy and spacious, yet snug too! Clever. Front room gets the sun later in day, and sunset views over the field are beautiful. Downstairs bathroom is large and shower is fantastic! Beds are very comfortable and duvet covers etc are soft and good quality, with additional throws and pillows if needed. Upstairs has 2 very good size double bedrooms, plenty of space for luggage and another good bathroom. Several velux windows that can be opened, and the only sound to hear is birds. The kitchen is very well stocked with pans/ utensils etc, central island hob is great for sitting and watching the chef at work! The garden is beautiful, and very private. Wysteria was in full bloom, and all shrubs are well established. Fully fenced in too, so pets can roam without worry. Definitely recommend this beautiful tranquil haven.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. So close to everything we needed as we were going to Alton towers. The property had everything we needed. The only thing which isn’t that much of an issue but the garden is a very small yard. We have twin 2 year olds and as it was sunny, so would have been great to have the outdoor space. But that said it wouldn’t stop us from staying again very well recommended. And the pub the Huntsman and Chinese takeaway was AMAZING food Thanks again for the stay! Definitely would come back

A lovely little hide away on absolutely stunning grounds located in an idillic part of the Peak District. A little caution should be given to the stairs but not a problem for us and our dog soon adapted.

we had one of our best stays. the property is in a fantastic location for someone wanting to visit the Peak District. there is possibly everything we could have possible wanted in the property. Even, there was milk, biscuits, tea and coffee to get us started. There is very nice walk just next to the property. We would love to come back here again.
