Great location in a walkable neighborhood of Black Mountain, NC. House is warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time there. Rooms are small and it is hard to imagine 12 people staying in this place. We are a family of 8 and it seemed a bit cramped at times. If you plan to eat meals together at the house it would be difficult to have seating for all; there is no real kitchen table. Kitchen is cozy, but they do have two, one upstairs and one downstairs in a cleverly concealed staircase. There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash and dry dishes if you eat at the house. Kids really enjoyed to pool and hot tub. Also the inside of the house is warm and inviting, personal decorations and books and toys will make a family feel right at home or potentially nervous that something will be left out of place or broken. Overall, we felt the place suited our needs and we were thankful for our time there. Hosts clearly love their home and have done a nice job making it a place that is inviting.

The views from the porch are amazing! There’s tons of stuff to do at the house, you don’t even have to leave. Check in was easy, check out was even easier, and Blanche was very effective at communicating throughout our stay. Would definitely come back here!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic cabin in Tennessee, and I can't recommend it enough! The cabin was absolutely wonderful—spotlessly clean and nestled in a beautiful, peaceful area that made for a perfect getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub, which provided the ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. I was also incredibly thankful that we could bring our fur baby along for the trip. He loved the fenced-in backyard, which allowed him to roam freely and enjoy the great outdoors. Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return for another memorable stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Shell Mountain Splash! With four kids 7-10 this was perfect for our two families! The kids loved the pool and had plenty of room to play and spread out. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we think we probably had the best view on the mountain! The beds were very comfortable, everything we were promised was there. The windy roads take a bit to get used to and our husbands were able to navigate the hill to the cabin on motorcycles with some patience and persistence. We do wonder if lower vehicles can safely enter the driveway as it is very steep and did have some scape marks so beware if your car sits lower to the ground. Definitely recommend overall!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! The home itself was beautiful—clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything we needed was already there, which made our stay so easy and comfortable. The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved being able to relax and take it all in. It truly felt like a peaceful escape. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Altitude Adjustment cabin! Such a lovely location, close to everything we had planned, beautiful views and a great and cozy space — had everything we needed and was the perfect size for our family of 4. Highlight for our kids was the pool — they just loved it! It was nice to unwind after a long day in the hot tub too. Travis’ communication was so proactive, organized and quick to respond, made our stay super easy! Would definitely stay again!

House was perfect for our needs and was close to everything in the Pigeon Forge area. Driveway was a little challenging for our lowered cars but the house was beautiful and the location worked out great!

The home is beautiful, very clean, in an excellent location, with an easy to access driveway (not steep), and a very responsive host. The large kitchen, game room, theater room, and plenty of space to spread out was wonderful! Our family had an excellent stay!

From booking to final check out Amy was always available and had every detail covered! This beautiful Victorian home has been brought back to life with impressive restoration. The combination of modern and antique style throughout the home is welcoming and refreshing while keeping the integrity of the home’s history. The host was very sweet and helped me when I had a problem on airbnb and was always there wHen something came up. The back yard was nice and big and I loved the willow tree in the back yard.
