This lake house is spacious and stunning with incredible views. Do not hesitate to book this place for your next retreat or vacation. The main bedroom is on the first floor thus private and quiet. The remaining bedrooms are on the second and bottom floor so if everyone else decided to stay up late talking and playing ping pong or billiards - the top floor still remained very quiet. The house was roomy enough for our large family but with an intimate feel. It felt like three separate apartments - yet as a family we gathered on the many porches for conversation and fun times. Our favorite was the screened-in porch on the first floor with the swinging day bed. I’m pretty sure we all took a turn napping on that porch. WE LOVED EVERYTHING! Slone went above and beyond to answer questions, give directions and offer suggestions. She was always pleasant and happy to help in any way we needed. We hope to return again soon for another family gathering.

Rob’s home had all the listed amenities, great lighting and very nice furniture inside. It felt just like a home. Our kids enjoyed playing the arcade game while we enjoyed relaxing. We didn’t even get a chance to try the hot tub which looked great

Very beautiful place! Rob would quickly respond to any questions we had. The lake was beautiful. Deer was in abundance several times a day and they would just look at you. It was very peaceful. The house was spacious and set up very nice. There were some utensil issues but we went and bought some. The drawers in the cabinets were a bit dirty but no more than what they get like at home. A good swipe with a wet rag and they were good. Would love to go back. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking things.

First off, Betsey and Scott were wonderful hosts and exceptionally accommodating! The home is perfect for a larger group that prefers a fantastic and upscale layout mixed with a tranquil setting. Can't thank them enough, and if our travels lead us to greater Atlanta again, we know where we'll stay!

we needed a place to stay for the weekend while attending a wedding in the neighborhood and this place was perfect for us, our grown kids and parents. coffee at the dock in the mornings while watching all the deer walk around was a great bonus. Allison was super responsive to messages and made sure we didn't need anything. it's a great house in a great spot on the lake.

The house location provided our family the ability to hike within the neighborhood as well drive out to other places in close proximity providing lots of trails and eating choices. The owner of the house was very polite and communicated throughout the whole process.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

Here’s a suggestion for a five-star review: My family and I had an amazing stay. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and Spencer was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us to check in. Spencer was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the Architect’s Cottage! The lakeside setting is beautiful and peaceful, and we took advantage of the great hiking in the area. We also enjoyed the nice restaurants and shopping in nearby Roswell. And Jennifer was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. A great long weekend getaway.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The price was excellent for the amenities provided, and the location worked out perfectly for us. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive to all our messages, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely book this place again and will be recommending it to our family and friends. Highly recommend!

This is a great little house close to the lake for a getaway. The beach area was really quiet during our stay and is a short walk from the house. Just be warned, it is down a path with a section that is fairly steep, so may be difficult to carry all your lake gear to. The house was very clean and well stocked including a range of toys for multiple age groups which was a huge amenity. My only critique is the upstairs air conditioner (located in the master bedroom for the whole upstairs) did struggle a bit to keep up with it being hot and humid. The second bedroom was a little warm even with the box fan provided. Overall though, this was a great vacation getaway rental.

We absolutely loved staying at Donna's charming cabin! We were celebrating our anniversary and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The cabin is adorable and cozy, with lovely decorations inside and peaceful natural surroundings outside. There was nice ambient music playing when we arrived, and we found that Donna had even left a sweet anniversary card and delightful goodies for us! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The outside sitting areas were nice and quiet and we enjoyed listening to the birds singing. It rained the night we were there but we didn't mind because the sound of the rain on the roof was very relaxing. We walked out to her dock on the lake after checking out and enjoyed the view of the water. Donna is a wonderful host and as hospitable as can be. She made sure we were well taken care of and could contact her easily if we needed anything. We will definitely come back again!

This cabin was a great find. We stayed here for the weekend and it didn’t disappoint. Private lot, play structure for kids and even some toys for them to play with. I will say that I do recommend taking a truck or suv. The road to the cabin is a little bumpy and unpaved but we had no trouble getting to the cabin. We would definitely stay again if we travel back to Ellijay!

Russell provided a top-noth Air BnB experience from start to finish. He did not miss a detail, making our stay that much more inviting. The property itself was well stocked, very clean and had the most comfy beds. Also, waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the rushing water from the river was spectacular! This was the perfect escape from reality that my husband and I needed, particularly for our anniversary. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Elijay!

The most perfect house for our family vacation!!!! We had a very large group and it accommodated the kids and the adults!!! The private lake on property was worth every penny!!! Mr.Drew was so nice and responds very quickly! We will definitely be back! One of the best vacations we have been on! Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us!!

SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! the lake was sooo beautiful, the house was beautiful, the property was beautiful!! there were so many turtles at the dock and they swim right on up to you, but they also WILL bite your hooks so be careful if you're fishing lol. the host's house was pretty close, and they had a really cool bee hive enclosure thing you can see from the little house. they were also outside a lot so if you needed any info or questions they would be very easy to access. there's lots of animals, so if you're outside at night and hear footsteps it's probably a possum (from experience lol). two decks!! both with seating. one is off from the main bedroom loft and it was the most romantic, aesthetic thing everrr you can see the lake from both! also the host had some really cute jewelry tastefully set up for sale in the air bnb. very cute! i would def stay again :)

Huge bonus—property has a perfectly horizontal driveway—a blessing navigating in the dark in a torrential downpour, lol! This lake house was lovely—clean, cozy and inviting. We all settled in immediately. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, with plenty of hot water. The mattresses were mid at best, memory foam was hot as usual, but ceiling fans and A/C worked great. The back porch (and big porch swing) was private, screened and immersed in the serenity of the woods leading down to the dock. The way to the dock was ‘vertical’ and challenging, even with the installed rope-line; those with health concerns be advised. Only 1 of our party of 5 made it to the dock. Overall, this is a wonderful property and thankfully we did not plan to go on the water, so we only missed hanging out on the dock, despite this, we still enjoyed our time and looked forward to returning back at the end of each day/night—and that is saying a LOT. We all want to love where we lay our heads at night! Thank you
