This custom designed, modern cabin is made for connecting with nature in comfort. The cabin sits by itself on 28 private acres with meadows, forest, a small creek, and trails. You have privacy and space to wander and are still just 15 minutes to town, 10 minutes to Lake Santeetlah, and 1 mile off the Cherohala Skyway. A Bothy is a Scottish term for a small simple farm building that travelers can shelter in. The cabin and land are a perfect place to relax in the Appalachian mountains.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Large Private Home on Wooded Acreage

The Harvest House is a large 2-story home on acreage, with 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms. Additionally, there is an area with twin beds for extra sleeping space. The home accommodates 8-10 people comfortably in beds. In addition, there is floor space for extra sleeping. Guests have access to the main resort outdoor pool and hot tub. Enjoy the full service kitchen, screened back porch, creek, and wifi. There is no cable tv, however there are wifi and the TVs with HDMI ports.

Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. Firefly- A cozy mountain getaway

Step into nature’s paradise! Watch the fireflies while listening to the babbling creek from the screened in porch. Firefly, a 2 bedroom house tucked in the woods, is near Fontana and Lake Santeetlah. It’s a short drive to the the Smoky Mountains, Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon. The house is located 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail. WE NOW HAVE WIFI!!! No RVs allowed.
