We had such an amazing time staying at the Lake Haus! Such a perfect spot to make family memories. The beach was the best and the house was so comfortable - it had everything we needed. Stacy was wonderful to work with!

The house is stunning! We did encounter some difficulties during our stay that need to be addressed but these are no fault of the house and surroundings that’s why I am leaving 5 stars as I am confident these issues will be addressed.

Convenient to Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Very clean and very well appointed, interior is well updated. Nice linens, comfortable bed. Stephanie was so helpful and always quick to respond. This property exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful home, in a location perfectly situated for river life (amazing birding!) and walker-friendly town life. The large kitchen is better equipped than my own, and the interior floor-plan made it easy for our group to be comfortable, whether gathered or in separate spaces. The scenic grounds are kept perfectly manicured. The owner lives close by and is very helpful with sharing information and lending kayaks, canoe, and life vests. The house is historic yet feels fresher than a new home - overall a great experience.

This property is flat out amazing! The pictures do not do this place justice. The layout of the house is perfect for a family vacation with plenty of space all over the house! Game room is amazing with the theater seating and huge TV, the deck is a great place to lounge, walk out door on the ground floor is a nice touch, rooms have a nice view of the lake. The house is very clean and has everything that you need. Yes, the house is amazing, but David made this stay a one of a kind. I asked a lot of questions and he was patient, understanding, and welcoming as a host from start to finish. Communication with David was very clear and concise. Thank you again David for making this vacation one that we will never forget! We will definitely be coming back to stay at one of your properties!

I've stayed at lots of places like Cindy's, but her friendliness, decor of the house and toys for the children put this place over the top. We will be back!!! Gorgeous views and lots of room on the wrap around deck. The grills were in excellent shape. Also the outdoor fire pit with the stone surround and path is very cool.

Great view of the beautiful lake from the cottage. Cottage is in a good location to make day trips to places in the tip of the mitt and the eastern U.P. Having two bathrooms is helpful. Really liked the decor and all of the little touches throughout the cottage. If you have forgotten to bring anything look around first before running to buy it, as they have several items there for you use. There was a slight glitch with the access code when we first got there, but the problem was taken care of by a quick response from the hosts. They were quick in getting back to us throughout our stay. There was just the two of us, but I think the cottage would also work great for a family with kids. One of our favorite things was drinking our morning coffee while watching the two loons out on the lake.

Loved this place, everything was great! Would recommend it to anyone! Larissa was very friendly and helpful on any questions!

The house is so comfortable. closed to things we wanted to do and see. Great deck and dock. Kitchen was very well supplied. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mark and Mary’s cottage was perfect for our family getaway. It’s perfectly located in close proximity to Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor springs with no shortage of things to see and do. The property itself is great for families with the lake access and we were pleasantly surprised with a very nice sized dog enclosure! We would highly recommend visiting their place and will likely be back ourselves!

My fiancé stayed here for a weekend with his friends and they had a great time! Tara was quick with responses and was a great host! :)

The house was nicely decorated & looked like the pictures in the listing. We loved all the rooms. Scott was very responsive & accommodating. The family had a great time. We would love to use it again in the summer to explore the lake and nearby towns.

Nathan was a great host! He communicated so well and even had a gift for us upon arrival. If you're ever looking to have a ski trip to boyne mountain I'd highly recommend!

This beautiful cabin was the perfect setting for our retreat. The home is situated right on Paradise Lake with easy access to the water. The location is also incredibly close to the upper peninsula and made day trips to local landmarks easy. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for a four person group and dog. We would absolutely book this cabin again.

The house was perfect for a large group of family to get together for a ski weekend, we had some of the group ski and some stayed back and the house was a perfect place to hangout with everyone.

Jane was a great hostess. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and looking forward to a peaceful few days. A couple of days before our stay, Jane messaged, she graciously and proactively offered a full refund for our stay due to a destructive ice storm shutting down the internet/wifi in the area. We have the same 500 channels at home and can never decide on what to watch and we were able to hot spot. We were not disappointed there was so much more to see and do....or not do. The beach was pristine, lots of sand, shallow, crystal clear and good rock hunting. Due to the chilly weather (April) we didn't take advantage of the sports/beach equipment. All of it was in good repair, the bikes were good for bigger kids and adults, whatever you needed, bike pump etc. The fire pit area, had great chairs, the view is MI prime, and a lot of firewood, close hose, decent Weber-clean, easy to light. Thomas responded promptly to all of our questions. The cottage was the perfect place to get away from it all, and on a hot day, the breeze from the lake made it feel as cool as if it was air conditioned! As a heads up to other renters: the lake is very shallow so take it easy when you pick up speed, but the lake connects to The Black Hole Nature Preserve and then to the Inland Waterway via Crooked Lake so there’s plenty to explore if you have a boat. Our dog hung out in the water all day living his best life and it was easy enough to keep him on the porch using a baby gate until he was dry enough to come into the rest of the house. The bunk beds were particularly roomy and great for all ages!!

As locals without an accessible home after “The Storm of a Lifetime” we felt like home. There are those who would not feel comfortable in such an old cabin with its quirks. We loved it!

Lynn and Jeff’s place was incredibly comfortable, cozy, and clean. Although we did not have time to use them, the grill and the fire pit were an added bonus. I wanted to get there before dark because the directions said after a certain point ignore Google directions, but it was very easy to find and their directions were also spot on.

The cabin is beautiful and everything was clean. We didn't have time to meet Lynn and Jeff, but they were very helpful. I definitely hope to come back soon.

This is a very beautiful place to stay with countless “up north” towns and attractions within a 30 to 45min drive. The view of the river from the lounge area was especially lovely in the mornings and evenings. We had multiple visits from the local deer and chipmunks (as an Aussie this was a a real treat). The interior had lovely decorations and felt very homely. All as described and has anything you might need. Larry is a top bloke and was very welcoming and happy to lend a hand if needed. Highly recommend!
