This stone cottage is absolutely adorable. Everything you need for your stay is ready: comfy bed with super soft linens, clean towels, soaps, coffee and maker, and the list goes on and on. Nick greeted us as we arrived and was very hospitable. He left us a kind, welcome letter, fresh flowers, chocolates, and wine! The cable tv and WiFi worked perfectly too. But THE VIEW and LOCATION are amazing! It could not get better! Beautiful lawn, stone walls, and a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. And it’s literally a 2 minute walk to cross the street and rock hunt or walk the beach! The neighborhood homes are mostly stone and historic-so beautiful. This place is peaceful and serene, and we will be back! Thank you, Nick. We had a great spring getaway! We’d love to return in the summer.

Mark and Mary’s cottage was perfect for our family getaway. It’s perfectly located in close proximity to Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor springs with no shortage of things to see and do. The property itself is great for families with the lake access and we were pleasantly surprised with a very nice sized dog enclosure! We would highly recommend visiting their place and will likely be back ourselves!

Jane was a great hostess. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and looking forward to a peaceful few days. A couple of days before our stay, Jane messaged, she graciously and proactively offered a full refund for our stay due to a destructive ice storm shutting down the internet/wifi in the area. We have the same 500 channels at home and can never decide on what to watch and we were able to hot spot. We were not disappointed there was so much more to see and do....or not do. The beach was pristine, lots of sand, shallow, crystal clear and good rock hunting. Due to the chilly weather (April) we didn't take advantage of the sports/beach equipment. All of it was in good repair, the bikes were good for bigger kids and adults, whatever you needed, bike pump etc. The fire pit area, had great chairs, the view is MI prime, and a lot of firewood, close hose, decent Weber-clean, easy to light. Great remote location; we unfortunately traveled late in the evening so in the dark was a bit more difficult as you lose some cell service at night so the directions didn't come up quite as easily! Overall great stay would try it again!

first of all I would just like to say thank you I've stayed in many airbnbs in the last 3 years this place just had that extra touch that made you feel like you were at home my favorite out of 16 I will be back

A delightful cottage on the Bluffs of Lake Michigan. You can hear the waves from the deck. The home was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our stay. We would highly recommend Lizzie’s home.

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was conveniently located. Rick was very responsive and had very clear instructions for us. It was also very clean and tidy!!! I would recommend this to others, and hope to be back sometime. Thank you Rick!!!

We loved staying at Lindsay’s property. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. With 2 children this was a perfect location to ski in and ski out. The space is very small, it is a studio, not a 1-bedroom condo, there is a huge, comfy king bed and a very good pull out sofa bed, but they are pretty tightly packed into the space. The owners provided games and books which was a nice touch. The bedding and the towels were beautifully soft and clean. The kitchen cabinets are very high up, we needed a step stool to get to any pots, pans and cups. This was available, we didn’t make a big dea out of it, we made it work, and really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this stay and definitely come again.

It was our second year in #24 for a terrific northern Michigan golf weekend in the same complex as an owner. The place is perfect for it. We’ll be back again next year!

Can't say enough good things about our stay and hosts. The only thing that would prevent me from coming back is buying a place of my own in the same complex! Roger and Mary were proactive and responsive from pre-booking through our stay. I am a clean freak, to say the least, and found the condo in great shape. We took full advantage of the kitchen and every utensil, plate, and cookware I took out was perfectly clean. We had two families stay - 4 adults and 4 kids - and everyone was comfortable with plenty of space. Roger and Mary saw we were bringing real little ones, and left out pristinely clean crib and pack & play, sheets included. We stayed during winter, and enjoyed all that was nearby! Nubs Nob just 10 minutes drive. We got to XC Ski right out the condo door into the neighboring nature preserve trails and along Lake Michigan. The condo complex indoor pool was great afternoon entertainment. Everything matched the description, so it was easy to plan. Thank you!

Great condo - even brighter, cheerier, and roomier than pictured! Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of linens and beach towels, games, well stocked kitchen.... and the view of the lake is fantastic! There were no neighbors when we were there so it was very quiet. Just minutes to Nub's Nob and the Highlands. Lots of choices for restaurants near by and good grocery store nearby. Host was ultra available and accommodating with lots of instructional / helpful signage throughout the condo, lots of extras!!! Thanks for a great stay! Looking forward to going back!!

We enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. It is our third visit and it never disappoints. The boathouse was clean and cozy. Pam and Dave are lovely hosts.

We enjoyed our stay. This room was perfect for a few night stay, had basic kitchen amenities, Roku worked well, couch and lighting gave it cozy feel. Room was very clean, good use of small space. Great location. Communicative hosts. We would stay again.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The cottage exceeded our expectations, the setting was private, and the view was spectacular. Our family wants to make this an annual tradition!

This property is so nice for families - with the larger house and the small cabin both, it was perfect. The space was clean and had more amenities than was mentioned in the listing. Jeanine was a good communicator and shared all the necessary information. The only thing I would have liked to know is that the water is across the road and down a very long flight of stairs. I wasn't familiar with the area, maybe if I was I would have known that! But with little ones it was a bit much for them and we didn't end up spending time at the water like I'd hoped. But the view was spectacular! I also loved that the property is out of town a few miles so even though the weekend traffic was bad in town, we felt away from all that. Amazing place to stay! Can’t wait to go back! It was such a pleasure to meet host Judy and hear her tell of her family’s fascinating history of this gorgeous property on Lake Michigan. She is quick to answer any questions you may have…extremely accommodating. While she stays in a smaller abode onsite, the environment still feels private and secluded. The views, indescribable! Mother Nature speaks to you constantly, sometimes in a whisper and other times as a roar. But remember, you will be in the Wilderness Park so be prepared (as Judy says) for a pesky pest or two. We really only experienced them (biting black flies) one evening while collecting rocks along the beach. We found our natural oils repellent worked best. The cottage interior is a delightful eclectic French Country, comfy and cozy!! Every corner is decorated with such uniqueness and interesting flair. There are plenty of areas of the home to gather together or to sit quietly in peace. It is truly a VERY special place!! 💖

My fiancé stayed here for a weekend with his friends and they had a great time! Tara was quick with responses and was a great host! :)

We selected East Jordan because it was central to the places we wanted to go to on our self-determined “color tour”. The Breezeway was often traveled and beautiful! This was a great location to hit Traverse City, Mackinaw Island/City, Boyne Mountain, etc. Highly recommend, as the unit was a perfect size, just as the pictures show, and Steve was a great and responsive host.

Great location close to town. Friendly neighbors. Shared yard and beach with other cottages and condos. View of Paradise Bay. We watched the Curragh races from the beach and loved the Irish Feile! Quiet cottage. Reminded me of our family’s hunting camp. Entrance step is bit tall if you have any mobility issues. Enjoyed cooking whitefish from the island market in the workable kitchen. We brought our own sheets, quilts, pillows, bath/beach/kitchen, cookware, knives, etc and were happy we did. Would recommend. Thanks for a relaxing week and sweet stay.
