Place was as described. Check in was easy. Sherry gave some great recommendations for food in the area. This was for a guys golf and river rafting trip and was a good place for us.

Erin's home was perfect for our trip to New River Gorge National Park. The location, within walking distance to downtown Fayetteville was perfect. There were stores and restaurants nearby and the entrance to the National Park was a short 5 minute drive. The home was exactly as described and shown in photos, with all the amenities we needed. We particularly appreciated the amount of space, pool and hot tub as well as the fully fenced in backyard because we were travelling with our dog. As a host Erin was incredibly responsive, provided helpful information about the house and area. We could not recommend her house enough, it was fantastic for our needs and trip and hope to stay again in the future.

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

We had a great time during our stay. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! Definitely was able to rest and relax and everyone slept so well! I will for sure seek this place out for our next stay in the area.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

This place was wonderful to stay at. Lots of room and very good location. The house was clean, well maintained, and had all the basics in the kitchen. Christina was very responsive and gave great recommendations for food. Definitely would recommend this,especially if you need room for several people.

We all had a great time. We loved the pool and it was great to have after hiking and on the afternoon it rained. The house was a great size for all nine of us! We loved it!

This was a beautiful and peaceful getaway in the mountains! I was able to relax and unwind after a hectic start to the year. Bedding was the most comfortable and I actually forgot to look at the mattress name before I left because I wanted to buy one for myself! The bathroom was really pretty and the soaking tub was great! The kitchen was very accommodating and had everything I needed! My favorite part was curling up with a good book in front of the gas fire place and watch the snow fall outside. There is a keypad to enter the home, which died in the middle of my stay. I called Nancy and they came down right away to let me in and change the batteries. I highly recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to get up and back down but still possible in a front/rear wheel drive. I will definitely be back!

Such a great stay with a beautiful, peaceful surrounding. I enjoyed coffee on the back porch watching the birds and enjoying nature multiple times. The house is very easy to find, and the photo instructions make finding the enterance a breeze. The parking area is large enough I could have turned my Corolla around in the driveway if I'd needed to. The drive up to the house is your typical West Virginia back roads, but if you take it slow and pay attention you'll be just fine. Scottie was quick to respond to any questions I had, and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the stay! If I end up back that way I would for sure stay again!

We had a great time bringing our dogs to April's place on our trip to Lewisburg. She was very helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay. I would absolutely recommend her place to future friends/guests!

My husband and I had a quick one night stay here with our two kids. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the house looked like the pictures. Our pack and play fit well in one of the rooms with us. Being an older house, I expected it to be a bit creaky. I was happy with how little noise the floors made, but the doors were a little noisy to open and shut. The kitchen was clean and there were some basics like water bottles and snack bars. The host didn’t skimp on things like cheap pillows or sheets, they felt comfortable and new. We would definitely stay here again if passing through!

Miss Heather was extremely professional throughout the entire process. The place absolutely exceeded my expectations. This was my first experience with a rental. I would highly recommend renting from her. My house was extremely comfortable and spotless. I will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Memaws House. Right from the outset, we felt safe, secure and right at home in this quiet peaceful setting. It was easy to get to all the services and attractions in the area being so close to the interstate. We cooked, did our laundry, watched Netflix and had a great nights sleep, absolute bliss when you be been on the road all day. We were also impressed with the standard of cleanliness especially the bathroom which was absolutely spotless. Thanks for a wonderful stay a little slice of rural life in West Virginia which will live long in the memory.

This was our second time staying here and I would highly recommend! It is a beautifully done historic home in a wonderfully peaceful location. Pet friendly which is a huge priority for us. The views and property are amazing and Mary is a wonderful host....quick response, detailed instructions and very kind & gracious.

Place looked just like the pictures. Perfect for a one night stay. We were driving and it was the perfect place to stop and rest overnight. Local restaurants had great food and drinks! Airbnb was very clean and had plenty of towels and utensils, pots, etc for cooking!

Another great stay at The Nest. We have been back to this location several times in the last several years. It is extremely close to our family that we can visit them every time we go down! We also are close to the town of Gap Mills and Union in which we visit each time. I can not express enough how amazing The Nest is and how friendly Thomas is when we plan our trips! 10/10 would recommend and 1000% will be staying here again and for the foreseeable future for our trips down!

Dara was extremely helpful and understanding when some issues arose. Good communication and very responsive. I’d book again.

Rachels place was amazing, not one thing to compalin about! She is so sweet and kind and even suprised us with a brand new outdoor seating area, with table and grill, all new! She is an exceptional host an I look forward to future stays there! Thank you for everything, especially the very warm hospitality!

Great location. Really liked the outback fire pit area. Ashley was very responsive to messages.

Debbie was a most gracious host and the home was perfect! Everything we needed was provided, especially in the kitchen. The surrounding farm was beautiful and so peaceful. This is definitely a place we want to stay again. We met our daughter here for a family weekend and we plan to return!

Robert’s Holler Ridge Airbnb was a fantastic stay! The place was clean and cozy, and we were greeted by the sweetest orange cat named Halo—an instant bonus! The bed was super comfy, the water was nice and hot, and we loved having a convenient countertop ice maker. Robert went above and beyond with the snacks—seriously, snacks on snacks! Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Heads up for future guests: Apple Maps took us on a little adventure, but Google Maps got us there just fine. Make sure you use the address Robert provides directly—not the one from the “Getting There” tab. “For whatever reason, Apple Maps translated it weird.” All in all, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

The home was as described and spotless. other than my fan (they do have ceiling fans) I could have came with the clothes on my back and been fine. Parking was a bit of an obstacle but that was clearly stated and we figured it out. I would definitely stay again and recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Matewan to ride the trails or just enjoy the area.
