Quiet, cozy convenient space to call home for a short visit. Yes i would stay again. Everything you need for 1 person or a couple. Nice front porch to relax and enjoy the snow capped presidential range. Wonderful hosts always available if you need them.

Jodi's place was great! We got to check in early and the views were amaing! Our toddler loved the loft bedroom! Would stay again!

Stayed in Dockhouse at lake Rivendell, it is exactly as described in the listing provided. Our stay was excellent, we highly recommend having the experience of staying here. Dave-Linda and the caretaker take amazing care of the property and the people who come here.

We had a great weekend getaway at the Hammock Hut! We took advantage of all the amenities—the hot tub, sauna, and nature trails. It was a perfect weekend for us and the pups and we can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely loved this place! It was the perfect glamping spot! We stayed at the skylight chalet and were able to see stars while laying in a warm cozy cabin. We had running water (bathrooms were in the bath house a few feet away). A refrigerator that they stocked with some water and a record player! It was so incredibly peaceful! Would definitely recommend!

Loved staying at this tiny house! The view of the mountains is beautiful in the morning when you wake up with a nice set up outside to enjoy it. The house itself is exactly as described with a bathroom/shower included so you do not have to use the public space. Overall, loved staying here!!

Our stay at the Bungalow Box was extraordinary. Going to the mountains in the winter can sometimes lack the beauty and experience. Not here. With the outdoor design, we were able to lay in bed and feel like we were out enjoying nature. You are close enough to Salida to do fun things, however we did not feel the need to leave the cabin because it was so comfortable. We will definitely be returning at least yearly!

We were so grateful to find this place and book an hour before arrival. We had all these grand plans for hiking and climbing but ended up staying around the cabin most of the time because it was just too cozy to leave. We felt so at peace during our stay, and it turned out to be the most rejuvenating trip. Everything about our cabin and the property was so intentional. We loved playing games while listening to a vinyl on the record player. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna, and we spent part of the evening walking on the nature trail where we saw the most stunning views of the mountains. Ben and Sarah had a book full of recommendations that was super thoughtful, and we spent part of the day at one of the hot springs they recommended nearby. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back!

Our family is happy we picked this place for our 1-week vacation! Perfect location to have rest and activities of any kind to do! Everything is located within 10-40 minutes reach!

The place was comfortable and fulfilled all our needs. Bill was super attentive and responsive -- he even delivered another blow dryer when I couldn't get the existing one to work (my fault, I didn't reset its power button correctly) and got it to me fast! The front porch was nice for morning coffee (which was supplied and very tasty! ), with a great view of the mountains. Everything was clean and just as described in the listing. Great breakfast place nearby within walking distance. Neighborhood was quiet for sleeping and relaxing.

The people that ran this place were very kind to me, and made me feel cared for and honored to be there. Looking at the mountains while the workers gently smiled and asked about my day made for a wonderful experience. They deserve honor for their respect kindness. I will truly miss their presence, for how little I knew them. Highly recommended stay for a low/reasonable price, wonderful cabin, perfect amenities, and for the community of Buena Vista. If you can make it out here, put in the effort to do so. There’re plenty of trails and hot springs, and the staff will happily give you suggestions of where to go.
