The caravan was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and right by the little pond - definitely the best spot in the holiday park! It had all the equipment we needed and there was lots to do for the children around the holiday park as well. Can't fault it really..

Our 1st time at Cruggleton Lodge - though we have stayed at the relatively adjacent High Lodge several times. As at HL before, we had an idyllic week - which the facilities at CL provided an excellent foundation for. CL is secluded, set in the edge of woodlands, with breath-taking views out to sea. The walk through the woods down to Garlieston starts literally outside the door. Woods containing deer, hares and a wide variety of bird species. Have already booked again!

Fantastic place to stay in wonderful area. Everything was as described. Ideal for visiting and spending time in the Lake District Area. Just stunning! Many thanks ....

Our family of 6 enjoyed being in this Holiday park for a whole week. We had the luck to discover a lot of local beauty sites. Furthermore, we visited some Highlands Loch and castles that was amazing. Definitely will be back in future.

We had a wonderful stay at Monkwood House. It suited our everyone from the 86 year old to the one year old in our family. The house is stunning and has everything you need. The pool was great fun. The house is set in gorgeous grounds next to a lovely river. We star gazed at night. The multiple sitting rooms also meant the teenagers could branch out from the adults. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

Badgers Rest was a lovely house, very comfy after some gruelling days in the Fells.. Very good value for money, very clean and tidy, couldn't have asked for anything more. Slight hiccup on arrival as the boiler wasn't working and a few cold showers by some but after checking in with the hosts and their out of office number, the boiler was reset in no time. Lovely hot showers thereafter! Happy days, would definitely recommend Badgers Rest!

The house was incredibly comfortable and super clean. The bedding, including the duvet and pillows, was exceptionally cozy and made our stay very warm and pleasant. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

We have just returned from a break at the lodge and it was superb! A gorgeous find where the photos don’t do this justice. Nigel was a fabulous host, communicated well and really friendly. We stayed as a family of four with a 7 year old and 2 year old. Nigel had left a high chair and travel cot for us. The view is fabulous. We made good use of the hot tub and the pool table. The lodge is well equipped, towels for the hot tub and bathroom use, we loved this as saved us so much for packing! There is underfloor heating in the hallway to two bedrooms and the main bathroom that heated the whole lodge, it was super cosy! The kitchen has all you need and the finish in decor and furniture is beautiful. We had a lovely few days out, Mabie farm park is local and great for kids and a walk along the river at dock park. We will absolutely be back and had such a great few days! So pleased we found this place!

Would 100% recommend staying at the Riverain Coach House. We recently stayed with some friends and enjoyed local walks close to the house, a good selection of local pubs nearby but would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However with Penrith and shops being only 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem. The house has been done up beautifully and is really well equipped. Christine was great, providing lots of helpful information before our stay and the welcome hamper went down a treat. Thank you so much, we would 100% stay again.

Beautiful house in a great location a short walk from Keswick. Modern and high end finish to the house and had everything we needed for our stay. We visit Keswick on a regular basis and this has been one of our best visits yet!

Beautiful lake view !! Very scenic!! we spent easter break in this lovely house, Beautiful and romantic surroundings. Highly recommend for Nature lovers!! this place offers comfort and stunning views. Alot to do around this area. James is really friendly, helpful host and always responsive. Overall positive experience!

I stayed at Moon cottage for a weekend with my husband and two friends. Matthew is a really responsive host and great communicator, we were well informed and found check-in easy. The house was fully equipped, comfortable, clean, tidy, and we all slept so well. The views of surrounding hills are lovely. The location was perfect for us, the main high street with all the pubs, shops, and restaurants is only a short walk away, but still enough of a distance to retreat and enjoy the peace and quiet in the evenings. We’re all looking forward to coming back and staying at Moon cottage again in future.

The house was as described. Very quiet on an evening. Great location for walking in the lakes following our walk up Scarfell Pike and Ennerdale. It’s not particularly a tourist location but a great base! All locals really friendly and Everything was expected and described.

Very clean with all appliances needed. Perfect location for the town, walking distance to everything you need including train station

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

What a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful views from every window and so quiet and peaceful. Nice to have fenced in secure garden for dogs, lots of parking space and bike storage. Bedrooms comfortable, immaculately clean and provided with bath sheets and hand towels. Great showers and plenty of facilities. Kitchen with AGA and lovely big table for family meals, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Appreciated having two TV rooms for different generations and good Wifi for the workers. All in all a delightful place to stay, peaceful, yet near to local shop and main road and easy to get to everywhere. We hope to return...

Beautiful house in gorgeous countryside. The photos don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather but spending more time in the house wouldn’t have been a problem! Very light and spacious with nice attention to detail.

Highly recommend the property. Very well presented throughout and had a beautiful private garden with seating area. The house is well equipped with everything that you could need. Within walking distance of the town and only a few minutes walk from a great restaurant

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

I didn’t meet Helen but I was sent a message leading up to my visit, with instructions and her number for any issues arising. The house was very clean and has a lovely back garden with amazing views. It was nice to watch the sun setting from it. There was a bottle of wine left out for us which I think was a lovely touch. Also, there was a folder with instructions and recommendations and a guest book. The location is close enough to walk into the town and to drive to Maryport and Windermere. We enjoyed staying here, it made me wish that I lived in Keswick. Thank you!

Staying at Lorna's place was very nice. The space is warm and cute, it has the essentials. When we arrived we found bread, milk, coffee and tea for us. The bed is comfortable and everything works fine. Thank you for everything Lorna!!

Eight of us had a lovely stay at Gretna for a wedding. The space is huge and spotless, with everything you might need for a stay. Tracey was super helpful in providing options for local taxis and recommendations, thanks so much!
