Monks' Apartment

This converted monks' hermitage is a modern twist on country living in Abruzzo. With vaulted ceilings and a beautiful courtyard, this cozy place has history and style. Located between the mountains and sea, we are only 5 minutes from the historical Atri centre, 15 minutes to the famous Pineto beach, 10 minutes to Silvi beaches, 40 minutes to the mountains, 30 minutes from Pescara centrale and Pescara airport. Next door is a famous neighbourhood pizzeria, full of locals any day of the week.

Log cabin with great view

The cosy log cabin is located separately on a small-scale nature campsite, between ancient olive trees. The hut has a living area including a kitchenette and a sleeping area for two people. Around the cabin you can see the peaks of the Gran Sasso on one side and the high mountains of the Majella on the other side. At the terrace there's a lot of privacy. The municipal access road to the site is a little steep. Within walking distance you can find a pizzeria and during the weekend an agriturismo.

Sea and beach is 25 minutes driving away; 30 minutes more inland the Gran Sasso national park can be explored. A private swimming pool of 7,5 x 3,8 m allows for enjoying the tranquility of the Italian country side. The Montefino area is known for it's sparkling views over the Fino Valley. Visit also the typical Italian restaurants.

The apartment has outdoor space to the North West of the property with a private patio with barbeque and seating, as well as access to a large Jacuzzi, run cool in summer as a mini swimming pool. (Please view additional notes for jacuzzi availability in winter) The views over the Saline River valley are beautiful. Only 30mins to the beach and 45mins to the mountains!

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.
