Il soggiorno alla tenuta di Capocontro è stato molto soddisfacente. L'intero borghetto antico è un gioiello incastonato nel verde, con vista spettacolare sui boschi della Val di Chiana. L'alloggio in ordine e pulito, pittoresco ed elegantemente retrò. Piero e Lella disponibilissimi nelle comunicazioni e nei suggerimenti di luoghi da visitare e in cui mangiare. Abbiamo amato la pace e il silenzio del luogo, nonchè la piscina con vista. Ci siamo fermati poco e il meteo è stato un po' capriccioso, altrimenti ci saremmo goduti di più gli esterni della fattoria. Unico piccolo neo: le stoviglie e il frigo non erano proprio immacolati, ma nulla che non si possa risolvere con un colpo di spugna. Super consigliato sia per un soggiorno breve che per uno lungo, così da godersi la quiete del luogo e visitare i dintorni.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautifully set up with a lovely garden, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax. The location is great—quiet but still convenient for getting around. Visiting during this season was just right, with the garden in full charm. Just a small note: it can get a little chilly inside during the early morning and evening, but it added to the cozy feeling for us. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement idéalement situé, avec une vue tout simplement magnifique ! Les couchers de soleil étaient grandioses. Le logement est très bien équipé, confortable et parfaitement adapté pour se sentir comme chez soi. Un grand merci à Isabella pour son accueil chaleureux et ses précieux conseils tout au long du séjour.

Perfect location - could not select a more beautiful setting. Il Paluffo manages to feel luxurious and green as well as rustic with modern comforts all at the same time. The location is stunning - pictures do not do it justice. Il Paluffo is tastefully decorated, intimate with lots of amenities, and unique offerings. There was a cooking class offered while we were there! This is a truly unique and magical place, the perfect Tuscany experience.

La casa è veramente ben fornita e Sabrina si è rivelata un’host veramente molto cordiale. Avremo sicuramente piacere di ritornare!

This was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and private with beautiful views. Lots of wonderful villages to visit and explore within a 30 minute drive. Norma made some great reservations for our anniversary dinner as well as a couple of great wine tours. She also gave us recommendations of which villages were best to visit and what to do there. We highly recommend doing the cooking lessons with her family. They are such a nice family and were very eager to show us how to cook a traditional Tuscan meal. Grandma really is an amazing cook. They even sat with us as a family to share what we had cooked. We have been to many AirBnB’s and Norma has been our best host by far. We would go back the next time we visit Tuscany. Dave and Liz

Un sogno che diventa realtà, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia dove regna pace ,tranquillità e semplicità. Borgo di Quota a 10 minuti dal paese Poppi percorrendo una strada di tornanti ben mantenuta accessibile a tutti,tra l'altro nel paese di Poppi puoi trovare tutti i servizi possibili. Una menzione particolare alla Host Claudia , persona stupenda così come l'appartamento. Ma penso che le parole non bastino un posto così bisogna viverlo,e aggiungo che in zona si mangia davvero bene. Dimenticato a Quota troverete anche una bottega rifornitissima gestita da persone speciali.

While looking for a place to stay it’s often difficult to choose. If we had known how fabulous this place was it would have been a no brainer! We all agreed that this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in on all of our travels. Massimiliano was a delight and so personable. He made excellent suggestions one being having a cooking lesson. If you have a chance ask for Francesca! The BEST! One last thing…we left with amazing recommendations for the next part of our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Leonard and his wife were very kind and welcoming, beginning to end. They were very responsive to our contacts with them and proactive in ensuring we were comfortable and had all we needed. They kindly invited us to join them and the wider family at a homemade pizza party in the garden one evening and later even brought us unexpected sweet treats. The property and it's garden estate were beautiful. We had gorgeous views from 3 sides of our apartment , mountains one way, across the valley another, and over the large garden on the 3rd side. All of the outlooks beautiful. It would be perfectly possible to use taxis and trains to get around the general area though having our own car there was very convenient for shopping and travelling as some attractions and facilities are several miles away. I feel our trip would have been less rich without a car. I'd describe the apartment as comfortable if rustic, but we had all we needed whether cooker, fridge, micro, washing machine etc.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Carlo et Elena. Le jardin clôturé et la piscine étaient de vrais plus. Sans compter toutes les petites attentions que Carlo a pu avoir pour nous, et même un cadeau pour notre petit chiot. Le logement est paisible entouré de montagnes avec une belle vue. Nous recommandons cette maison et son hôte car tout était parfait!

This is a jewel of a property. We were looking for a restful and relaxing place in the Italian countryside and this is it!! The amenities are great, Ilario and his wife and their son, Ricardo are lovely people and they are so grateful for your business and make you feel right at home! Our rental unit was spotless and the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals in house of which we did. The bed is very comfortable!! Even though you are out in the country you are still close enough for many of the beautiful sights of this part of Italy. We will definitely return!!

We really loved our stay, the beautiful surroundings and the place was even better than the pictures. Alfredo was very responsive and friendly. Would really recommend if you’d like a peaceful stay with close proximity to local Tuscan villages to explore.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in Sabrinas Unterkunft in der Nähe von Pienza. Sabrina war stets erreichbar und extrem freundlich & proaktiv. Die Räumlichkeiten waren tiptop sauber. Das Frühstück wurde stets frisch zubereitet. Der Garten und die Aussicht waren atemberaubend. Alles in allem haben wir die Zeit extrem genossen. Zwei kleinere Bemerkungen: - Die Preise für den Kochkurs empfanden wir doch noch ein bisschen mit 100 Euro p.P. im teuren Segment (100 Euro p.P.) - das war uns leider nicht im Vorhinein bewusst, evtl. wäre es gut ein bisschen mehr Transparenz zu gewährleisten. - Es gab an zwei Tagen komplette Wasserausfälle für viele Stunden - an sich nicht schlimm, aber sollte hoffentlich nicht die Norm sein.

We had an excellent time staying at this family home with an amazing view of Torrita di Siena. Great access to many popular hill towns (Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, etc). The house and property are beautiful, very private and populated with song birds and olive trees. The hosts are charming and very welcoming. They provided us with all the recommendations we needed and were readily available whenever we wanted to communicate with them. The house is well appointed and has multiple ways to cook from gas range to pizza oven and wood fired grill. I really liked using the giant pinecones as fire starter. We would definitely return and hope to. Such a precious slice of paradise.

L'alloggio è un piccolo paradiso di tranquillità. zero inquinamento acustico. vista meravigliosa. ambiente curato e una bellissima piscina dove rilassarsi e rinfrescarsi. Antonella e la sua famiglia sono persone squisite, gentili e estremamente discrete. posizione strategica per visitare sia i villaggi del lago Trasimeno sia per visitare Perugia, Assisi e tanti altri posti. il borgo vicino è incantevole e si può fare la spesa di prodotti locali. per una spesa più complessa basta raggiungere il villaggio del lago (Passignano) e si trova coop e Conad. unico aspetto che va considerato è che l area è totalmente sprovvista di rete mobile. la casa è dotata di wifi però appena esci di casa anche solo per andare in piscina non hai modo di accedere alla rete. per chi come noi aveva voglia di staccare da tutto è stato un non problema. se invece avessi avuto bisogno di lavorare o essere reperibile va considerato. nel complesso per noi è stata una bellissima settimana di relax. vale la pena.

Un borgo meraviglioso immerso nel verde ma con tutte le comodità per trascorrere giornate all'insegna del relax e della tranquillità. Il borgo è stato ristrutturato in modo perfetto, lasciando intatto lo stile delle strutture. Gli appartamenti sono attrezzati con tutto il necessario e appena si mette piede fuori da casa si gode dei colori e dei suoni della natura, con la possibilità di fare anche un bel tuffo in piscina. Molto buono anche il ristorante e piacevolissima la compagnia dei cinghiali che si affacciano di tanto in tanto per un saluto. Davvero una bella scoperta!

L'appartamento era molto grande e accogliente. Non mancava proprio niente, meglio che a casa mia! Cucina super attrezzata, beni di prima necessità presenti e anche di più. Abbiamo anche trovato degli omaggi di benvenuto che abbiamo molto apprezzato! Gianluca molto simpatico e disponibile. È la prima volta che prenoto tramite Airbnb e posso dire di essere stata molto soddisfatta! Avevamo anche per la prima volta il nostro cane (labrador di 7 mesi) con noi e non ci sono stati problemi. Molto disponibili anche da questo lato. Sicuramente tornerò a casa di Gina se ritornerò in zona. Ciao

*Super super nice and relaxing* We had a great time and, above all, the relaxation we were longing for. The view was even more beautiful than we expected from the photos. Daniele was a perfect and very nice host. The accommodation inside and outside was also 100% what we had hoped for. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay. The pictures do not do this place justice. The view was amazing. The place was spacious and stocked up with everything you would need. There was fresh fruit, breakfast items, and coffee enough for the whole stay and more. I forgot my charger converter and Leonardo brought us one so we never lost power. 10/10

Ci siamo trovati davvero bene. la location è immersa tra i servizi principali del paese e la spiaggia è a circa 8-10 a piedi. Molto indicati se avevte figli piccoli, perché in zona c è Bibbolandia. Simone è molto disponibile per risolvere eventuali problemi.

Es war sehr toll bei Giovanni. Er hat mit einer Karte alles über die Möglichkeiten angezeigt, die es in der Umgebung gibt. Der Pool ist herrlich, man kann sich dort wunderbar erholen und natürlich schwimmen. Die Anlage ist sehr groß und gepflegt, wir konnten dort super mit unserem 15 Monate altem Kind spielen. Außerdem hat Giovanni viele tolle Sachen für den Kleinen gebracht (Spielturm, Hochstuhl, Spielsachen etc .) Auch Monika war super lieb und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Vielen Dank für alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

⸻ Soggiorno perfetto! La casa è davvero super in ordine, curata nei minimi dettagli, piccolina ma con tutto quello che serve: comoda, accogliente e con tutti i comfort. Ci hanno fatto trovare anche un kit per la colazione che è stata una sorpresa graditissima! Gli host sono stati eccezionali: super attenti, disponibili e gentili. Ci hanno guidato passo passo su come accedere alla casa. Alla fine del soggiorno abbiamo lasciato le chiavi al padre, una persona davvero squisita e cordiale, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Esperienza più che positiva, consigliatissima! Torneremmo sicuramente.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The unit is very high quality and well furnished with everything we needed. The location is literally steps from the main square and all the main attractions. The kitchen is well stocked with very high quality tools which was a plus for us. We also really appreciated having a large bed since that’s what we are used to at home but is not common in Italy. Lastly, the Internet was super fast and allowed us to get some work done. Would love to stay again in the future!
