This home exceeded our expectations! The location of this home was just beautiful. The home itself was very roomy yet cozy for 2 families with 3 children to enjoy. It was also super clean. This Airbnb had the best equipped kitchen i’ve ever seen in a rental with plenty of good quality pots, pans, dishes bowls, various glassware for cocktails, and grilling tools. Even plenty of plastic dishes for kids, ziplock bags and plastic wrap! No detail was forgotten. There are plenty of areas to enjoy meals or just hang out inside the house , out on the deck or on the patio. I also wanted to mention there were plenty of towels, extra pillows and bedding for all 7 of us. I didn’t have any issues but reached out to Matthew to let him know we were very pleased with his home and he responded right away. Matthew’s home provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful family vacation in Emerald Isle and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

5 stars! We had 10 ladies for girls weekend for a cancer free 5 year celebration. The location was amazing step out the back door onto the beach. The views from both decks were amazing. We saw dolphins all three days from the porch. The house had everything we needed to relax, celebrate and unwind and enjoy 25+ years of friendship as we celebrated one of our own!! Tara was amazing very well communicating, and took care of everything we needed and more.

The townhouse was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed ! The location was amazing and check in was extremely easy !

Great location. The home is clean, well maintained, and nice appliances including a nice coffee pot. Everything is well stocked - plenty of trash bags, soap, toilet paper, detergent etc. Information and instructions were posted in convenient locations.

This was our second time staying at Diane’s beach cottage and it didn’t disappoint! We absolutely loved staying there! It was the cutest place with so much to do nearby. It was such a great, relaxing place and it had everything that we might need. Diane was so friendly and very responsive to any questions that I had. The house was perfect, very clean. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this one of a kind air bnb stay. It was great to relax on our own island for the weekend. I had fun grilling out, fishing, and just laying around on the beach. The house was comfortable and perfect for a couples weekend trip.

We had a great stay! This unit is in a great location - beautiful view from all the windows/balcony and steps away from the beach access. Nice, new appliances in the kitchen and updated decor throughout. Storage closet inside with beach chairs, etc. Stacy was very responsive to any questions and provided us with the clear check-in and check-out instructions as the dates approached.

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving week here. Jessica was extremely responsive before during and after our stay. The house had everything we needed, and there was room for everyone. It was great to be so close to the beach while also having a comfortable house where we could enjoy our Thanksgiving meal, games, movies, and family time together in.

This was the perfect spot for our two families! The house was very clean, there was plenty of pantry space (huge amenity for us!), room for everyone to spend time together and apart. The kids loved playing in the game room too. Communication was on point! Deanna really thought of everything. Thank you!

What a peaceful retreat this home is! With the sound out the back & a short walk to the beach, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac this home, with its unique architecture, is a perfect blend of feeling a bit remote without being isolated. Linda was an amazing host. My sons and I went for a weekend getaway. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and relaxing at home. We walked to the beach and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Beds are super comfy and the whole place was clean.

Great house that fit our large group comfortably. The listing was accurate and looked just like the pictures. It was a little too cool for us to get in the pool, but it would be awesome to have in the summer months. The beach outside the house is beautiful with great shells!

What a wonderful place to stay! The condo was beautiful, the ocean view from the balcony, with the sound of the water crashing… definitely what the soul needs! Leigh was quick to respond to our question or two!

If you’re looking for a great location with a walking distance to the beach, this is it. We were visiting for the North Carolina Seafood Festival and ended up skipping a large chunk of it because we enjoyed the area near us more. Pros: plenty of stores close by to grab last minute items for the beach (sandals, sunglasses, and bathing suits), not crowded during the first week of October (beginning of off season but better than staying right in Morehead City) enough room for multiple guests Short driving distance to the aquarium, Fort Macon, grocery stores, nail salons etc Very safe - police and fire station are a block away as well If you end up staying here definitely make sure to go to Shark Shack (very walkable), Table 9, Bahia (also very walkable), Mug Shot, and Beaufort, which is a short drive away and has so many cute shops and restaurants on the waterfront.

Our trip to Harker's Hideaway was very peaceful and relaxing. The private dock and beach was an amazing experience. If you are looking for a place to unplug and just rest, this is a prime location. The island is small and it's not a bustling community but that's not what we went there for. It is a beautiful place amazing sunsets and if you want other things to do they're all within driving distance. (short) We hope to be able to return.

Don’t even think twice, just book it. It’s absolutely worth it and will exceed your expectations. Extremely beautiful house, location and property. Will Definitely try to snag this place again next year!!

I have stayed at this location three times. it has been very clean. Towels and washcloths are available also beach chairs and wraps. My one suggestion I think the AC should be manually operated within the house. I could not get it below 70. It was very hot. It was a perfect location, walking distance to many things.

We had a great stay at Mel’s place-we t down to Morehead city for a fishing trip and this house was perfect for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

This is was the perfect cozy beach get away for our family of 3, including a toddler, and two of our friends. The house was beautifully decorated, very clean, equipped with everything from food prep, toddler toys, to beach equipment, had beautiful views, easy check out instructions and a very kind early check in offer. We had a great stay!

We had a great time here for our Spring Break! The house was very nice, lots of steps to the top floor tho! It was very convenient just to be able to let the kids run to the beach. The beach was never crowded! Chairs and a shade tent were provided. Extra paper towels or trash bags were not provided, but the Dollar General is within walking distance. We definitely plan to return to Emerald Isle again next year!!

I 100/10 recommend this place for a small family. My little family stayed here and had a great time. Their response time was amazing. The local restaurants were great. We recommend renting a golf cart. Very nice parking area for the beach. I will be coming back if in the area.
