Fantastic location for easy beach access. House was quiet and private. Loved having the bikes available for the nearby Shoreline bike trail. Brent checked in often and was immediately helpful when there was a problem with one bike. Overall a great stay!

Prospector Ranch is a hidden gem. Minutes from the San Fernando Valley and a world away. Like stepping into a time machine that plops you into the wild west without leaving creature comforts behind. A perfect spring break getaway for a nine year old who just studied the Gold Rush in school - and was captivated by every inch of the luxe and delightful property. As we were. The stagecoach is just so unique - spacious, cozy and enough contemporary touches to make a night in the woods nearly luxurious. The shared bathroom is gorgeous. We had the place to ourselves, so there was no need to share with other guests. The property is loaded with places to grill, to eat, to chat around the fire, to make s'mores, to connect with nature and each other. The animals add great energy and the best part of the stay is Meggan herself. A tremendous host eager to share this magical rustic world she created.

The Sespe Retreat is definitely the most unusual and outstanding vacation rental we have stayed in. The house is very comfortable with everything that one needs - and the hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly, and responded to any questions that we had. Any concerns we had about being "off-the-grid" were completely unfounded - even on the one snowy day that occurred during our stay (gorgeous!), we had plenty of solar power. We highly recommend the Sespe Retreat - we are almost reluctant to tell people about this hidden "gem" so that we won't have trouble making reservations for a return visit!

We had a wonderful time at the Cozy Beach House! The area feels like a tiny beach town, just a few small shops and cafés. But, a 10-minute drive from major shops, restaurants, farmers market, and delightful marina village. We stayed with dogs, who enjoyed the fully-fenced (and paved) backyard, and lounging in the sun. We enjoyed the well-appointed, comfortable amenities, and the uncrowded beach a block away. The place is quirky, which makes it more charming, and very clean with modern appliances. (Some have called out the fire pit — it’s fussy but works with a little patience.) We plan to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at this cozy studio suite! First off, the location is perfect. We were able to bring our dog as it is pet-friendly and took her on morning walks around the beautiful neighborhood. She loved sniffing all of the flowers and plants. They also have an outdoor shower which was so convenient after our trips to the beach for us & our dog! The studio was nice, clean & cute. It was perfect for us. The owner was also very responsive & answered any questions within a few minutes! He also had a very detailed printed packet of all of the instructions on the kitchen table. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful house. Peaceful, quiet, and private. You get the whole guest house in the picture, plus shared access to the tennis court (with one other house). Lovely house with LOTS of natural light and relatively well equipped. Great host too. Would stay again :)

The perfect trip for families! Second time staying at the ranch and it was just as wonderful as it was the first - except this time we had Albert the camel! All of the animals are amazing, but Albert is just an extraordinary treat! Everything about Rancho Grande is so magical! We love going - the Murads are amazing hosts and the property is heavenly. Thank you making us feel so welcome. Cannot wait to come back!

Clean and updated house. Short drive to beach and downtown. Pet friendly which we really liked. Only (very minor) downside is it’s located on a very crowded street so we had to be extra careful with our large vehicle pulling in and out of driveway. But the provided driveway parking was great!
