Jennie greeted us and let us into her wonderful property, showing us the best places to take walks and visit in the area. An extremly lovely house to come back to after long walks or day trips out and even had the perfect weather to enjoy the hot tub. It was just two of us staying in the property so more than enough room for anyone with a party of 4 looking to book somewhere - a positive and amazing first Air BnB experience, highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

Brilliant location, we stayed at Clover House before and after our wedding in Sheffield with a party of six. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation and the hot tub was lovely and well maintained. Also loved the goats and great space in the field for taking our dog with lots of walking available nearby. We also visited Matlock farm park 5 minutes down the road which was a big hit with our 3 year old niece. Overall great dog friendly house and location, and host available and responsive to queries. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay, yet again. Second time coming and already planning the third. Amazing house and staff. The animals are such an amazing bonus which all kids loved. Vic was amazing with the egg collecting and the feeding of animals. The house was super clean and along with all the facilities they had to offer. Our big family really enjoyed their stay and we all can't wait to go again. Thank you Vic

We had an amazing stay! Perfect for our group of 12 — spacious, cosy, and beautifully set up. The kitchen had everything we needed, the hot tub was lovely and hot, and the BBQ was a great bonus. Comfy beds, great location near Matlock, and even food delivery to the door. Would 100% recommend! The visiting and feeding the animals was incredible and was so lovely for all the kids and big kids (adults) we had space to run around and just couldn’t fault any of the place! It was so clean as well so hats off to all the staff 👏

Two of us had a cosy stay in the annexe with our doggy. It was peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub under the stars was lovely. Would also highly recommend a massage from Mandy.

The perfect stay! We had a fab time in Amber Lodge and it was kitted out with everything you’d need - the kitchen was super well equipped. The hot tub was a huge bonus and lovely place to chill out in the evenings. The beds were all really comfortable & everything was spotless when we arrived. Farmer Vic was lovely & helped us out when we arrived. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. We had SO much fun meeting all the animals (even as a group of eight 25 year olds) and thought the lodge was a perfect base to visit Bakewell and the surrounding areas! Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this place.

This is one of my favourites ever! The house is just lovely. I was staying with three friends to celebrate my birthday. We felt very comfortable and at home. The house is beautifully presented and has all the amenities you could ask for. Petra our host was super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. My only proviso is to note the house is on a very steep hill and has some steep steps to access so if your mobility is impaired it will be a challenge. We loved it and would love to come again.

“Got us out of a pickle” Thankfully Anna’s B&B wasn’t booked as it usually is. We managed to secure a booking from Saturday to Saturday as a “rewire” on our current property had ran over its completion date. I spoke to Anna as soon as the booking was confirmed and just like that we were in our new home for the week. The lodge is lovely, well kept and warm. My kids loved it and decided it was our new holiday home! I spoke to Anna’s husband Jim (who is also a lovely chap) almost every day when he was letting out the chickens or when he was locking up his workshop for the day. I’d recommend this place to anyone and now I know where it is I’ll definitely be staying again.

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

A lovely house in beautiful surroundings, if we head back to Nottingham again, we’d hope to book here.

Accommodation was lovely , clean tidy had everything you needed . Bacon bread milk and orange juice bought in for us as we got there 👍🏻 Surroundings were lovely and peaceful, did a bit of fishing , was the perfect New Year’s Eve stay and would definitely book again Thankyou Sharon x

Very peaceful location. Hosts were so friendly and incredibly helpful. Loved waking up hearing roosters crowing and horses neighing. Will definitely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay here — the house is cozy, quiet, and full of warmth. It reminded me of my university days in Nottingham, and for a few nights, it felt like I had traveled back to that time. Thank you for creating such a comforting space. I’d definitely love to come back again!

What can I say. For me it’s exactly what air bnb is all about.. quirky extremely well put together accommodation in a beautiful location! Canoes.. bikes.. cooking facilities.. food storage.. shower. Toilets. Areas to play., the tiny house is just amazing. Beds are great and stove is perfect! Sitting out on the decking with the fire pit watching the river and inquisitive cows 😂 while roasting marshmallows! It’s just all perfect. John was the perfect host and extremely helpful and his doggy is so friendly, thank you for sharing what you have built. we will most definitely be back soon! Chris and Louise

Location was brilliant and host was great. Loved the flexible auto-check in, and apartment was well-furnished. Price was also reasonable especially considering the quality of the apartment. Will be more than happy to come back next time.

A lovely stay in a very comfortable, well equipped cottage with lots of welcoming, homely touches. We enjoyed going to the Engine Yard and had a delicious meal in the Windmill Inn.

A lovely house to stay in as a family or a couple. In a great location, about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Bolsover. The house itself is beautifully kept with many original features, particularly the open fire in the main sitting room, which can be used by guests. My personal favourite was the classic Ferguson record player with a few records provided to play. The next time we stay, I'll certainly be bringing a few of my own vinyl records. Lots of board games and jigsaws provided for the family and good sized kitchen, downstairs toilet and shower. Amazing views to the back of the house including a garden and field, with nothing overlooking the house. Overall, an excellent Airbnb and an ideal place to stay if you're visiting Bolsover. Highly recommended.

Svårt att tänka sig bättre läge för att utforska de mysigaste stadsdelarna med dess historia, shopping och restauranger! Vi unnade oss middag på Cosy Club och Vida by Lorentes som verkligen var fantastiska! Närheten till matbutiker och frukostbröd var också mycket uppskattad. Boendet är väldigt bekvämt och lugnt, i alla fall efter klockan 22 då restaurangen på innergården stängt. Innan dess är det ganska högljudd musik onsdag till lördag men det var inga problem för oss. Till och med lite trevligt med bra musik. 😊 Bra med dubbla badrum! Vi uppskattade att det fanns förbrukningsvaror som toalettpapper, diskmaskinstabletter, te, tvål och även Netflix. Parkering i området är väldigt dyr men det finns ett bra (men trångt) parkeringshus ett kvarter bort. Värden var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam och svarade snabbt på frågor. Vi fick bra tips om området. Värden och boendet rekommenderas varmt för en familj som vill utforska Nottingham till fots!

We just left here after a 6 week stay in between a house move and we didn't want to leave! It felt like home immediately and was a real comfort to us during a stressful house move time. The hosts are wonderful, kind people and we are grateful to them for their help and support. Making friends with their dog topped our stay off nicely. Great place and amazing hosts. Thank you.

Very clear instructions for finding and getting in the appartment. The area was very cozy and really beautiful to walk around in. The appartment had everything I needed and a lot of useful instructions. Would come here again when visiting Nottingham!

We had a fabulous stay. Ruth made everything effortless, even offered us early check in and a later check out which we all really appreciated A beautiful place to stay, the house was immaculate. We felt so relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. We all really enjoyed every minute. We will be back ! Thank you

We had a lovely short break. There was plenty of room for three of us and a small dog and everything was there that we needed. Just note if you plan to do any cooking, you need to take everything as there was only salt. The Lodge is located near to many interesting places and we stayed local.
