Easily accessed from J40, M6, Bowscale Suite nestles between the northern Pennine fells and Lake District National Park. This lovely duplex offers twin sink bathroom, with shower over bath, kitchen area including fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and twin hob. Entering the living/dining area, guests are immediately drawn to the uninterrupted views, beyond the spacious balcony. Climb the stairs to the first floor and a light, airy bedroom awaits , with wall mounted tv and built in wardrobe.

This is not a commercial site - the property is privately owned which is ideal for a either a romantic getaway or a relaxing family holiday.

An exquisite base (with consistently high reviews) for exploring the tranquil local landscapes, by foot or wheel, close to the River North Tyne (fishing permits available), the International Dark Sky park and Kielder observatory. We have officially the darkest skies in England; from the back garden over 2000 stars can be seen on a clear night.

The cottage is in the heart of the Langdale Valley, in the centre of the Lake District National Park. It is the perfect base for families and groups looking for high quality self-catering accommodation. The traditional 19th C property has been extended to take advantage of its elevated position and uninterrupted views down the valley. It has been renovated throughout and guests can enjoy it’s modern interior and facilities in this traditional cottage which now has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

This spacious 3 bed cottage in a small holiday village provides all you need for a well earned holiday break .Situated in the Northern lakes area between Penrith and Keswick. Ulleswater, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite are all nearby as well as the highs of Blencathra, Helvelyn and Skiddaw fells As guests you have free access to the villages facilities which include indoor pool complex,( complimentary towels), gym, table tennis as well as crazy golf, putting green and outdoor play area.

Grange Bridge Cottage

Grange Bridge Cottage occupies one of the most iconic settings within the Lake District National Park. Situated at the entrance to the picturesque village of Grange in Borrowdale. Formally a tea shop providing refreshments to weary walkers, the cottage becomes your very own Base Camp from which to explore, adventure or just relax in the hot tub while taking in the grandeur of the setting and the abundant wildlife. Wainwright described this area as “the loveliest square mile in Lakeland”.

Townfoot Byre, EV friendly

Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck is a beautiful bedroom suite in our 330 year old traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Spa, sauna, swimming pool and gym access at a local club is included, free with your stay. A 7Kw EV charger is available, if you're travelling in an electric vehicle.

The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room will be closed for refurbishment from Monday 2nd March until Thursday 2nd April 2026. Luxury studio apartment in a peaceful setting in Whitbarrow Village with hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Balcony with views. Changeover days are Friday (for a 3 night stay) and Monday (for a 4 night stay) or 7 nights from either day, but please contact me if you have any queries with your dates as we can sometimes be flexible.
