An oasis of peace and tranquility on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Country walks, wildlife and two village pubs on the doorstep. Perfectly placed for visiting local hot spots like Haworth and 'Happy Valley' country, with the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales around. Jane's Lodge is on a small farm, there may be sheep in our fields. As such we can not accept dogs or pets of any size, however well behaved. We are not suitable for children, toddlers or babies. Jane’s Lodge is strictly no smoking.

Toll Bar House is a beautiful grade II listed cottage located in Gargrave on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It can comfortably cater for couples, a small family or a group of friends wanting to relax or explore the amazing surroundings. The cosy lounge has exposed beams and a wood burning stove. Very close to the market town of Skipton with its medieval castle, shops & restaurants. Embsay is a quiet village with Bolton Abbey, The Tithe Barn, and Grassington; famous for All Creatures Great and Small, all within easy reach. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs and a steam railway station. Guests are welcome to share our garden.

Shed End, in 18th century Lothersdale Mill

In the Weaving Shed of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). Popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby. * Shed End and my other place, The Workshop, are in the same building.

An ideal place to stay for a walking, cycling or sightseeing holiday. A great option if you are in the area to attend a wedding at one of the many beautiful venues in the area such as the Tithe Barn, which is less than 10 minutes away.

1845 Menagerie

The 1845 Menagerie is a one bedroom apartment located within a minutes walk from Skipton High Street. It is situated on the ground floor of a terrace property and is all on one level. There is a parking space for one car at the rear of the property. It is accessed through an archway which measures 2.8 metres wide. Several early morning opening cafes are nearby and Marks and Spencers Simply Food is just around the corner. I live across the road so I am on hand if you need anything

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
