Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

Our entire party of 7 enjoyed the place thoroughly. Our 9 ye old son was the one who enjoyed it the most as he had the whole entertainment living room to himself self and even used it as his bedroom. Although no AC except in two on the rooms we did not need to turn it on due to the breeze that came through the windows. It was so fresh day in and out for me. Rooms are equipped with fans through the other rooms and that’s all we needed. The place had everything we needed to cook a few breakfast meals and dinner. The views amazing and in love with the plants all around the house. So glad we could get our laundry out of the way before come back home as well. Would definitely recommend staying here. Felt right at home.

Trung was a great host. He was very accommodating when our other reservation fell through at the last minute. The home was clean, comfortable, and nice. It was well stocked and had many extras that helped us to feel more at home. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of storage. The air-conditioning untis worked great and cooled off very quickly! The home is close to may retail establishments. The view of the ocean at sunset was amazing! One bathroom with 7 people was a challenge, but the extra half bath helped immensely. Would definitely rent here again when visiting the Big Island!

Love the space, it was clean and fresh. The layout is spacious. The host was responsive and allowed a late check out which was helpful. One thing to note. There is someone staying in the Garage which looks to be a full time tenant. Created an awkward feel for out door living, sharing the patio etc.. All in all a good stay, we would book again.

Great stay! Best host I’ve ever had in all my stays with Airbnb. Responsive, communicative. Went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed; for example, purchased a brand new high chair so we wouldn’t need to pack one. Really nice home. Pool was great.

The home is clean and beautiful near Holualoa galleries, coffee, and restaurants. We enjoyed the relative quiet away from the Kailua-Kona tourist area. The only surprise we had were loud roosters throughout the night/early AM.

Beth was a terrific hostess! She always responded warmly to us. Her home and lanai are amazing! And the EASY walk to Manini Beach was the huge cherry on top. Thank you Beth for the use of all the beach toys and snorkel gear!!

This place was exactly what we needed! Even with a last minute double booking, they were accommodating and made the space work very well for us. They were always a text away, and very responsive. Close to what we needed, but also not in the middle of town where it was very busy. Thank you!

Very comfortable condo. Was great for our adult family. Used the beach wagon and beach towels a bunch of times. There was snorkel gear, but we had our own. Was great to have a very nice washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen was adequately equipped for when we ate in. It was great to have so many close shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. Airconditioning was great, especially with ceiling fans to circulate ite air. The parking garage was a little worrisome. At first it looked like our big suv would be too tall, but there was about 3 inches clearance. A little tight getting around the temporay foundation supports in the garage, but it worked out. Nice to have convenient parking. We would definately rent this condo again. Host is wonderful. Very quick responses each time we contacted him.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mike and Melissa (and Sheryl!) are wonderful hosts, and their place is spacious and comfortable—me and my dog, Margot, felt instantly at home. They were super friendly with great recommendations, and the apartment is private and quiet, yet super convenient to town and all of Kona’s lovely beaches. Would recommend to anybody!

Erin and Bernie were amazing hosts, and their place in Kona was perfect for our stay! The home was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. They provided great local tips and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal! Close to beaches, restaurants, and all the best spots in Kona. We would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Devorah's house. Devorah was gracious, and her house was amazing. Plenty of space for my huge family. The house was perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood that's easy to find. House is as described with a great pool and lots of room. We recommend and will return on our next trip to Kona, Hawaii.

Such a beautiful property and the place was well decorated. We were concerned about there being no AC as we tend to run a little hot, however the winds from the ocean and the ceiling fans were more than enough for the end of april-beginning of may. We didn’t need the patio opened at night and we’re perfectly fine at night with just the ceiling fan but there are many other fans provided if you need. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Would recommend you stay here the views were absolutely gorgeous.

it was our second time staying at Karina's place and it felt as though we were right at home! the elevation was perfect and we did not need air conditioning and the sounds of the coqui frogs at night lulled us to sleep. Karina's place is a great location from which to explore all the wonders the Big Island has to offer!

The place in right in the middle of Holualoa, within walking distance of many nice local shops and stores. The rooms were impeccably clean and cozy. By far the nicest place I've stayed at on the Big Island!

What a Great place! Close to everything, but very peaceful. Great for day trips! The bed was very comfortable. Which is good after a day of exploring. Very friendly host! Made sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful property.

This is a beautiful place to stay. My family really enjoyed our five day’s. The location, view and all the amenities made you feel like home. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and lanai was so organized and comforting. We walked to a beautiful local black sand beach called Honomalino, it was awesome. I highly recommend this Air B&B, had I known it was so nice we would have stayed here our whole two week vacation. We met the care taker from Pennsylvania, he was a friendly and helpful gentleman. My family rents Air B&B when they visit from Alaska, I’ll tell them and all my friends this is the place to rent. This place has created great memories for my family. Thank you so much.

We loved staying here. It is close enough to walk into Kona but still very private and peaceful. If you don't want the walk back after dark, you can get a Lyft for about $10. The house is perfect. They have thought of everything and it is a home away from home. It was spotlessly clean. We wished we could have stayed for longer. Stuart was the perfect host and the lanai was a truly wonderful space to relax. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again.

Very safe location and beautiful neighborhood. 20 minute walk to the beach. Lots of room for 3 couples. The host was very responsive to questions about the area and codes for the house.

I stayed by myself for 5 nights and enjoyed my visit - this is a low key spot with a great view. The hosts are welcoming and down-to-earth. The “room” is actually a standalone studio separate from the main house with its own bathroom, a kitchenette, and a private outdoor shower. I felt very comfortable here. A few considerations to help you make your choice: 🛌 : the bed was comfy with lots of pillows; some noise from cars 🔐 : there is a key for you to lock the door from the outside and an additional sliding lock on the inside 🍳: there is a large sink, potable water, fridge, cook stove (on the older side), coffee maker, microwave, etc.; a DIY hostel vibe to the kitchenette… 🚽: small inside bathroom and the ask that you don’t flush paper; outdoor shower with privacy & HOT water 🪟: there are 2 windows that are screens only 🦎 : this is on the rustic side w/ geckos and insects; 2 friendly dogs 🐕 🚗: MUST have a car; arrive during the day; 25-45+ minutes to key spots

The setting of this house is spectacular, right in Kealakekua Bay. You can see the Captain Cook monument in the distance (we kayaked there from the property). The host provides literally everything that you could possibly need to explore the bay: kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel equipment, etc., and you can do all of this right from their own (rocky) shoreline. The house was well appointed with everything that we needed for the stay. We were glad that we had the cottage so we were separated from the other rentals. It felt private. If you stay in the summer it does get HOT in the house during the day, even with the use of their provided fans, but it cools off enough at night to get a restful sleep. Also, there is a rooster nearby, which didn't bother us East Coast early risers. It's a long drive from the main route down to this property. We recommend stopping at the local honey farm that you pass on the drive down. You'll see their products sold all over the Island.
