Barbara’s place was very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped. With appliances, dishes etc. there was a very good array of dry good items for cooking, if you hadn’t made it to groceries yet, flour , sugar, oil, etc. Barbara was very responsive, and welcoming. We would stay at Barbara’s again.

Diane’s place was lovely! Amazing way to escape the city and be with the nature! They greeted us with kindness and farm fresh eggs! They have donkeys and lambs and chickens running around outside and even some water view visible from the airbnb. We can not wait to come back and would recommend this place to anyone who seeks some quite nature time!

Michael was quick to respond to my requests. Behind the cottage it is beautiful and would have been nice to enjoy except for the weather when we were there. I would have loved to dine outside. You can walk to downtown and there is a bakery and small grocery across the street. Very convenient for 2 people.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard which was bright and sunny with a fire in the evening. The only recommendation would be replacing the coffee pot. It took some time to brew a small pot. Other than that, our weekend was thoroughly enjoyable.

The location of this rental was even more beautiful in person, than in the photos. On a 25 acre farm, it had water and mountain views and was peaceful and relaxing, while at the same time only a short drive from amenities (restaurant, coffee shop, grocery). The rental was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Trish and her husband were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed her visit, and especially the two resident Goldens! It's a great place to relax and disconnect, we used the wood fireplace which was real nice touch. Highly recommend we would definitely return.

I had a wonderful stay here over the weekend! Niki and her husband were incredibly generous and friendly. On my first night, they even brought me some snacks, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Their adorable dog, Guss, and sweet cat, Mikey, added joy to the experience—they’re both incredibly friendly . The location is perfect—extremely close to both the ferry and bus stop. The place was exactly as described, with beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere. I also appreciated the extra blankets provided. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay!

Such a perfect little spot. Beautiful craftsmanship and wood details. Incredibly functional small space and very well considered. It was private and easy and just exactly what I needed. Exceeded my expectations.

Enjoyed the stay at the cabin. Very cosy and peaceful surroundings. Had a fire and followed the instructions for a magical sunsets. A great place to slow down and connect with nature

This was the ideal place for myself & my adult kids who love nature & the woods. Our granddaughter also joined us so it worked out really well for the 4 of us in the tiny house. Wonderful to wake up to the roosters at 5:00 am every morning so being an early riser made it extra special. We will be back for sure.

We loved our stay at Tony's cabin! His local recommendations were extremely insightful, and he was very responsive whenever we had any questions about the property. The property itself is wonderful! It was so peaceful and serene, it was a perfect getaway for us. It's a small space but very practical, with all the essentials we could need in the kitchen and bathroom stocked and clean! I did notice that the bed still had some crumbs/dirt on it on the side closer to the window, but given the spacing I can understand some constraints in getting to all the corners! We had a lovely time at Tony's place and in Shirley, would highly recommend! :)

Would recommend for sure. The loft is so cosy and lovely.which we loved. Overall a small but super nice space. Good vibes all around :) Also appreciated the Netflix option for unwinding after a day of exploring ❤️ Thanks Helen!!

Great place for a getaway on the island. Location was amazing to hit a number of hikes near by and the place offered a perfect retreat to relax and recover afterwards.

My family and I had a very lovely, relaxing stay at Jessica’s cabin. It has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. One thing we wish we packed were eye masks as the sun woke us up due to no window coverings!

My husband and I stayed in Paul and Lisa’s place over a weekend. We have always wanted to try a tiny home and this one did not disappoint. They thought of absolutely everything we needed and more. From coffee cream to extra towels to heaters, blankets, device chargers, out the perfect peaceful getaway. Thank you!

Margaret’s place was absolutely perfect for a night on salt spring island. It is a cozy cabin set in the woods with birds chirping and gorgeous scenery all around. The pictures don’t do it justice! The thoughtful touches in the cabin made us feel right at home. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. Absolutely hope to be back someday!

Perfect little getaway not too far off the beaten track. It’s absolutely beautiful and cozy with everything you can think of. It feels private despite being close to the hosts primary residence. The highlight was the full size kitchen. Great option for a couple that wants to unwind for a weekend, cook nice meals, hot tub, and enjoy each other’s company. Would definitely come back here again. Diane and Jim's place is such a lovely, clean, homey cabin in the woods with cozy decor and everything you could need! We cooked all of our meals in the airbnb and had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. The bed is really comfortable and so are the couches, which are perfect for curling up and reading. We loved the big window by the breakfast table which makes you feel like you're directly in nature. The place is easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from Ruckle park, which has a ton of great hiking trails and beaches to explore! Diane and Jim are really lovely and attentive hosts who helped us figure out logistics over the phone when we had trouble with the ferry over. This is a great place to stay :))

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's place. The location is close to groceries and shops, but remote enough to be a hideaway in the forest. We enjoyed the private patio and modern appliances. The location is right next to the beach, making evening walks along the ocean a convenient option. We were also very grateful to John for letting us borrow his kayaks for a little paddle around the bay where we saw flocks of Arctic turns and several seals. We would highly recommend John's place.

This was a beautiful place and a beautiful place to stay. This little cabin was just what was needed after travelling all day. We made ourselves a lovely dinner and breakfast, we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were cozy and warm and refreshed for another day of travel, thank you. Cheers Cindy Croteau.

The cabin was very cute! Actually cozier in person than the pictures show. Super easy to find, plenty of useful amenities. The toilet was an adventure lol the nearby park was nice to walk the trails. Good stopping point on the way to Victoria.

A fantastic find! Hosts were very helpful and responsive. The unit was clean, well stocked and full of beautiful natural light. That private garden is a huge plus for morning coffee.

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting. This was our second time staying at Anna's place and we loved it both times. Sooke and the surrounding area are gorgeous. The only issue we had was unrelated to Anna's place and we would gladly return. Construction traffic in Sooke is a major problem, especially for such a small town. We got stuck in 2.5 hour traffic back up that caused us to miss our ferry (this is not an exaggeration). You may want to keep this in mind if you need to catch the ferry.
