Gabriel place is amazing. very beautiful lake front cottage, she has maintained it very well we had kids of different ages in our group everyone from senior to children enjoyed it, we will definitely come back and Gabriel as a host is super caring. thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We did it all - swimming off the dock, warming up in the hot tub, going out on the canoe, kayak and paddle boards, movie night on the big couch. And FYI for any fishing lovers, we caught lots off the dock, even a couple pike!! You truly can’t go wrong with this lovely cottage.

Loved visiting this place, even in the winter season! The house is warm and incredibly beautiful with full in views of the boats, sea planes and wildlife of the St. Lawrence. It’s so nice to lay in bed on a day off and watch the amazing scenery on the river pass by the massive windows as the sun comes up. The house was incredibly clean and well supplied we quickly and easily found everything we neeed in the kitchen to cook our own meals with the groceries we had delivered. Gerard and David were very friendly hosts, we would happily rent from them again.

Came down for a rugby tournament with a group from Kingston ON. This spot was spacious, clean, very nice and up to date. No issues at all! Would love to come back in the summer once the weather is nicer to enjoy the beautiful yard set up they had.

The house and grounds were great, Such a wonderful find for a weekend getaway. Gillian med us upon our arrival and gave us a third walk-through of the property. A very kind and welcoming host. There was an incredible amount of space in this country ranch, both indoors and out. A hot tub was clean and large enough for my group to hang out, picnic tables outside, made for a good barbecue. It was such a short trip to downtown Alexandria Bay, five minutes, it really was a great place to be right next to the heart of it all well not being stuck the rest of the visitors. We all look forward to looking this place again and enjoying the thousand islands

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Jay’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The place itself was everything we could have asked for—cozy, beautifully designed, and nestled in a stunningly scenic area with breathtaking views. During our weekend stay, we experienced over a foot of snow, but Jay had already arranged for a plow service in advance, ensuring the driveway was always clear and accessible. Thanks to his careful planning, we had no issues coming and going, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Beyond that, Jay was an exceptional host—communicative, proactive, and incredibly accommodating. He kept us updated throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Look no further, you couldn’t ask for more. This cottage is fantastic, it checks all the boxes and then some. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, tons of space, gorgeous waterfront.

We enjoyed our stay on Howe Island with Ewa! The weather could've been better but Ewa's bunkie was warm and cozy and we had plenty to do while we were in the bunkie. We definitely will come back here to stay in the summer to be on the water.

We wanted to reconnect as a family before our daughter heads away for a few months of travel and this was the perfect spot. It’s such a beautiful cottage in an incredible location with incredible views. From mornings spent marveling at the sunrise over the lake to walking the trails, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We visited in winter and although we were warned there is no central heat, with the baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, we were always warm and cozy - even at night. Chris was a great host and would check in on us to ensure we had everything we need. We’re already trying to decide when we can go back!

The cottage and hosts were wonderful, friendly, accommodating and very comfortable. Me, my husband, my kid and my elderly parents found the place absolutely lovely. We'd go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it as well.

The furniture is clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. We especially liked that there was plenty of space for clothing and belongings, and appreciated the wifi, nice TV and games.

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Windswept Cottage. We visited off-season on a last minute trip while our kids were on break from school. The weather was mostly uncooperative, so we spent a lot of time hunkered down and never wanted for anything. It is well supplied and they really had thought of everything. The warnings about the stairs were appreciated. They felt a little treacherous at first, but we were going up and down with ease after the first couple of trips. Good idea to keep an eye on kids as the description recommends. Our boys occasionally got a little overconfident. Tl:dr - Great stay, and we'll be back!

The a-frame was beautiful! So aesthetic and cozy, my gal friends and I had a wonderful trip. The neighbors are super friendly and Mister, the neighborhood dog, was so cute! He even went on a walk with us. The area was very quiet and rural, definitely the location we needed to relax and restore ourselves in nature! Thank you so much!

For the third summer in a row, our stay at the cottage did not disappoint! As expected, Barbara and her team were wonderful hosts, the house was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and of course after coming back for a third year, we certainly did feel right at home. With two adolescent/teenaged kids with busy summer schedules, a week of peaceful quiet, family game night every night and beautiful sunsets is exactly what we all need to recharge!

What a gem this cottage is. We’d move in forever! Loved the open concept and the updated kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for our dog with a forest hiking trail close by. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the dock for sunrises and sunsets. Idyllic!

We can't say enough about our stay at Matt's beautiful cottage. Everything was exactly as advertised and looked exactly like the photos. The arrival instructions were very clear and we appreciated the communication leading up to our stay with the house rules PDF being sent by email. We enjoyed a very memorable weekend in the middle of prime autumn colours. This location is absolutely STUNNING!!!!! The sunsets are breathtaking and the property is perfect for watching the sun set over the lake. Mornings were also magnificent with mist and fall colours blending together beautifully. If you had small children, they would be in the lake from dawn to dusk at this fabulous property. We would definitely visit again; it was one of the best airbnb properties we have ever rented. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great time at Marisa's place. The location was perfect and it was easy to get to. We really enjoyed the large enclosed back porch with the tables and extra fridge for drinks. Marisa was very easy to communicate with - I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at this private lakefront home, beautiful surroundings, great instructions, very clean and lots to do! Would definitely stay here again!

This is the perfect place for a nice family vacation our little guy had so much fun on the children’s slide and playing in the sand.

The cottage was as described - right on Varty Lake. The lake was calm and easy to kayak and paddle - not great for swimming as it is weedy and a muck bottom (but most shallow lakes in Ontario are the same). It was warm and clear and there were lots of fish. A family of loons were right at home on the water (getting to be a rare find) as well as a brown eagle. The park on the far side of the lake (8 minute drive - quicker if you have a motor boat to get across, and could be paddled) had a nice park and a sandy bottom to the water - better for swimming. There wasn't a lot to do in the immediate area but the local convenience store had everything that was needed and there were lots of nice small towns within a hour's drive. And Kingston and Napanee (larger cities) were under 30 minutes away. It was very quiet - neighbours were either not there or kept to themselves - we seemed to be the only ones on the water or having fires at night. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities. Very Good

Carissa and Owen's cottage is a super cozy and charming cottage with many well thoughtout updates in the open floor plan. The cottage was both very clean and decorated in a perfect 'lakeside' vibe style. The hosts responded quickly to our questions and went the extra distance to make the bunkie available for us outside the preferred season. Would definitely return for another stay.
