Be aware that this is a very small room, but that was fine with us. We are two adults who simply needed a place to shower and sleep with very basic kitchen items. The layout of the room makes the very best of the limited space. Sounds crazy but I LOVED the refrigerator/freezer. No problems keeping things cold, and even frozen. That makes a big difference during a warm weather getaway. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels. We had one glitch but I was very pleased with Lisa's prompt response and correction of the situation. I feel that Ocean City is running out of good options for a quick weekend getaway, so I'm grateful for this listing. We'll be back next year.

Great find and great location --- it was a noisy weekend but with windows closed and A/C unit running, it was quiet! Would recommend and also would visit again. Posted pics were a little out-of-date.

Highly recommend! Our stay at the Buttonwood was great. It is a quick walk/bike ride into town and our room was clean with great amenities. For anyone who is doing a weekend trip to Cape May, this is a great spot!

My husband and I stayed in suite A at the Buttonwood. The "cottage" was exactly how it was pictured and described. We were very comfortable there for 2 nights. Unfortunately, we didn't go into the main building until the late afternoon before our last day. We found it to be a beautiful peaceful space. There was a coffee/tea/o.j. station in the sunroom and I would have sat in there each morning if I found it sooner. Bonus points for the bowl of chocolate kisses I found in the living room. Would like to go back someday!

We returned to this beautiful Airbnb to celebrate our anniversary, and it was just as perfect as we remembered—if not better! The accommodations are top-notch: spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel right at home. The host went above and beyond with restaurant recommendations and Prosecco bottles that made our celebration even more special. This stay has become a meaningful part of our story, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located, and memorable getaway in Cape May!

We love the retro vibe. It is a solid building with great style. The deck is perfect for outdoor relaxing as well as the lobby and porch chairs. Convenient parking area with bike rack and outdoor shower. Everything we needed for a restorative get-away. The Inn keepers made us feel welcome. We will stay again. This time we will reserve with The Zennith Manor Inn directly.

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Historic farmhouse is beautifully decorated and provided a well stocked kitchen with many breakfast options. The winery is gorgeous and delicious. Close proximity to Cape May and Stone Harbor for shopping and dining. We will definitely stay again.
