The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! We spent a lovely few days at this home and highly recommend it! The location is fantastic -- right on the water on a quiet creek -- with all the things you need to enjoy yourself. We were very happy to have a fully fenced yard since we brought our dogs. If anything, I think the photos undersell the house: for instance, the furniture in the living room is larger and nicer than it appears in the pics, so you can really spread out and relax in there. A note to EV drivers: we brought our EV and there's conveniently an outdoor 110v outlet on the side of the house next to the driveway.

Dawn’s place is the nicest Airbnb we have ever found! I never experienced a house where there are so many extras to make your visit special! Dawn and her husband have gone above and beyond to create this peaceful dog-friendly oasis. The game room was a blast, the dock and patios were comfortable with chairs, cushions, lounges and a fire pit. Dawn even supplied graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate to make Smores! The beds were super comfortable and there were tons of towels for people and pets. We also enjoyed the deep bathtub, bubble bath and shower. It was go great not to have to bring shampoo, body wash and all this much need toiletries that fill your suitcase. My family had a relaxing fun week there and will definitely be back. I wish we could give a ten star rating because that’s what this place deserves! Thanks Dawn 😇

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

This rustic little waterfront cottage is located on the serene banks of Carters Creek. My wife enjoyed relaxing on the covered porch with a glass of wine as the sun went down. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

Madeline & Michael’s place is great 👍 They’ve recently renovated everything inside and there was even more space than we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed the views, the back yard of sand, small path through the sand dune and access to the beach. Communication was great leading up to and throughout our stay. Thanks again for the hospitality!

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful access to the river, I am so grateful I was able to spend my weekend here! Ned and Holly were responsive and everything was provided that I needed. Very kid-friendly so I hope to return with my toddler some day :)

I truly wish I could put into words just how beautiful and peaceful this home and property were. It is truly a place that was so inviting and well maintained it made me miss the eastern shore of Virginia and start looking at properties in the area. The land is so cool to walk and explore and the bay at this home is just serene. To be able to wake up and see the view this home has is just spectacular. Matt is spot on with the description of his home and you truly can't find one thing wrong with this home or the property surrounding it and having a dog,it is so key with the wash station outside because our lab puppy could not get enough of the bay or going out in the kayaks with us. I truly wish they had more stars to rate this home. Thank you for being so gracious and allowing us to visit your spectacular home!

I cannot find the words to express our families stay. When I say this was the best stay at an ABNB we have had thus far it was. The outside itself from the landscaping to the scenery was breathtaking. Checking in was a breeze. Once inside pictures cannot begin to show the beauty of this property. The hosts have really thought through a guest experience. They went over and beyond hosts duties adding extreme attention to details. Anything and everything you may need or want for your stay was there. Even with all the extra amenities and the beauty of the home our family instantly felt at home. We loved our stay so much we have already booked our next stay.

The home sits on a nice point of land at the end of a quiet road. It is a nice mix of early 20th century charm and modern with spacious living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. The living room and large deck allow unobstructed views of the water. The home is well-kept, clean, and includes everything you need for a pleasant getaway. And, it is a short (10 min.) drive to the shops and restaurants in Kilmarnock. A relaxing, recommended stay.

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

Great place to stay for rest, relaxation, peace and quiet. In my short time there, I saw a wild turkey, a fox, an otter, red wing black birds, a woodpecker, and cardinals. And at night, I heard tree frogs and an owl was really close by. Terri is wonderful as a host!

If you’re looking for a getaway in a tranquil setting this is perfect. Great for lovers of the water too. A few museums, country stores/markets and seafood vendors nearby. If you venture further you’ll bump into some boutique shopping.

This is a wonderful place on a large creek off the Chesapeake Bay. This place oozes with charm and ambiance and feels so peaceful. We spent the first day just relaxing and doing nothing but looking at the water and chilling on the front porch. The house is updated on the inside and has a large lot with kayaks and a fishing pier. Great hiking at the natural preserves in the area too. We're grateful to the hosts for opening their home to us and we'll definitely come back.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my family. The waterfront location is absolutely stunning, and my sons had a fantastic time playing in the water. The cabin is exceptionally well-equipped, providing everything we could possibly need. It's a true escape from civilization, offering a profound sense of peace and tranquility. Second time staying at Camp Cottontail. Katie and Ryan are amazing hosts that are extremely accommodating and responsive to any issues or concerns. We were able to enjoy amenities such as the fire pit, grill, and kayaks during our stay. Surroundings were so peaceful and saw lots of wildlife in and out of the water. Our pup enjoyed the stay as well! Highly recommend a visit to Camp Cottontail! You will not be disappointed!
