A home from home, the Bastide is filled with an eclectic mix of personal and functional items that immediately allow you to relax. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The host could not have been more communicative, instructive and friendly. She is relaxed and informative, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We appreciated all the small touches during our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Nuit très calme paisible

We really enjoyed our stay here! 4 adults and 3 children aged 10-14. The villa is amazing with everything you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high standard which blends the modern and the traditional seamlessly. Beautiful views, quiet location, lovely pool. We really could not fault it. We have hired many villas and apartments over the years and this one is at the top level. All made better by the host (Elodie) responding to any issues almost immediately and the lovely sunshine we had all week! You will not regret booking this property!

Excellent séjour dans ce domaine incroyable avec une vue magnifique, un calme apaisant et de nombreuses activités possibles. Nos deux chiens ont été accueillis avec plaisir et ont été les plus heureux avec tout ce terrain loin des routes. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et très agréables. Les instructions étaient claires. Nous recommandons ce lieu!!

Had a great stay at the property while visiting the area for a wedding. Accommodation was extremely comfortable and well presented. Kate went above and beyond for us and answered any queries we had very quickly. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property

Een heerlijk verblijf, heel mooi domein met veel animatie, sfeervolle gites, een host die je in vrijheid laat maar ook heel toegankelijk en aanspreekbaar is met gouden tips maar ook steeds interesse in hoe het echt gaat. we zouden het echt iedereen aanraden zowel gezinnen met jonge kinderen als oudere kinderen. Het is een prachtige streek om te verkennen en Anne Sophie, haar man Pascale en dochter Lily zijn ontzettend attent en lief. Fantastisch om daar te kunnen zijn!

Het verblijf van Thierry was geweldig. Als je rust in de natuur zoekt is dit de juiste plek. De accomodatie heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De koffiebonen machine was heerlijk! Op de warme dagen maakten we dankbaar gebruik van het mooie zwembad. Enige aanmerking die we zouden hebben is dat 1 van de bedden toe is aan een nieuwe matras, wij hebben het opgelost met extra dekens. De andere bedden lagen heerlijk! Thierry was een fijne host en de communicatie was goed. We zouden deze accomodatie voor iedereen aanraden.

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The place was really clean and thoughtfully decorated. It was a calm & tranquil place to spend a few days of our holiday, the grounds are so nice we never wanted to leave. A cosy getaway with the wood burner and bathtub! We recommend staying here for the sunsets & views of the chateau alone. The hosts were very welcoming.

Beautiful, peaceful location, great gîte and wonderful hosts! Raquel and Marc couldn’t have been nicer, lots of personal touches that made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Whilst it’s a secluded location, it’s only a short drive to a local patisserie, supermarché and selection of restaurants. Un grand merci à Marc et Raquel d'avoir rendu notre séjour si spécial, faites un câlin à Bryan de notre part!

We hebben een week met veel plezier vakantie gevierd in het huis van Stéphane op zijn landgoed. Wat een prachtige en idyllische plek; de rust, de natuur, de ruimte, de rondscharrelende dieren (kippen, schapen, hond en af en toe het varken), het zwembad. En niet te vergeten de gastvrijheid van Stéphane zelf. Een voltreffer!

Très agréable et bel hébergement au calme. Ambiance chaleureuse même si je ne suis resté qu’une nuit.

We had an amazing stay here, the setting is just fabulous with loads of outside space and a great pool area. The accommodation arrangement was perfect, as our kids had their own mini-suites which gave us all some privacy. The inside of the main gite, specifically the kitchen area and the showers, could could do with a bit of tlc, but this didn't affect our enjoyment and we would definitely recommend. Thankyou!

Quel superbe séjour dans le gite de Jill et Simon ! Le gîte est très charmant, parfaitement équipé et niché dans un écrin de nature magnifique ! Nous y avons séjourné en avec nos deux enfants et tout était parfait : la grande piscine extérieure, l'immense jardin où nous avons pu croiser des chevreuils à plusieurs reprises, les nombreux sites alentours à visiter...Jill et Simon ont été des hôtes incroyables, à la gentillesse et l'hospitalité inégalables qui ont largement contribué à rendre ce séjour inoubliable. Nous y reviendrons, c'est une certitude.

Petite maison indépendante et fonctionnelle sans voisin très au calme dans la forêt. Aucun bruit. On peut profiter du chant des oiseaux et de la forêt. Equipement complet, y compris produits de base nécessaires ce qui est rare. Très bon accueil. C'était parfait, merci !

This is an animal lovers paradise! Sophie has all kinds of animals; 12 cats, 4 dogs, Baba the parrot, several birds, 4 donkeys, 2 ponies, ducks, chickens and fish. The pool was the highlight of the trip, giant and clean. We had lots of fun jumping in or cooling off when it got hot. The cottage is decorated with so many nice pictures and paintings, far more detail than we've seen with any other trip. It was also thankfully lovely and cool inside so sleeping wasn't an issue at all. The posh mattress in the master bedroom also helped. Wifi reception was excellent with around 15Mbps download speeds. The local area is fantastic, loads to see and do and local markets to visit. The village is just walkable for your morning bread, though I preferred the bakery in Lecture which was spectacular. Sophie was on hand for local recommendations on places to visit, restaurants to eat at or just for a chat. We had a super time on our Summer holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely stay at Méric Gites. Beautiful location, very comfortable and spacious gite, great pool. Gareth and Fiona are excellent hosts. We would love to return one day.

Nous avons passé 10 jours de rêve chez Sonia et Samuel. Ils ont été très accueillants et super attentifs à nos besoins ! Nous avons même pu nourrir les animaux avec eux, ce qui a ravi ma belle-fille de 9 ans (et nous aussi). Le cadre est idyllique, la vue sur la campagne depuis la piscine, le coucher de soleil et les étoiles bien visibles de nuit sont à couper le souffle, le calme est très apaisant. La maison est hyper fraiche, ce qui fait un bien fou sous la chaleur. Il faut juste savoir que la piscine et la terrasse ne donnent pas directement sur la maison, c'est juste en face en traversant une toute petite rue, mais ce n'est pas très dérangeant car il n'y a jamais de passage :-) La région est sublime, le calme et les paysages vont beaucoup nous manquer. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Gîte agréable qui dispose de tout le nécessaire dans un environnement très calme. La piscine en accès direct est très appréciable !
