The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

This is an awesome spot to stay. The view is spectacular and the landscaping on the grounds is beautiful. The micro brewery below offer a variety of great drinks. Would love to stay here again.

Fantastic stay for a month at a great site with good walking to shops and restaurants in Chester for optional car free days. Would highly recommend repeat stays at this wonderful site for exploring all that the South Shore of Nova Scotia has to offer within an hours drive to Halifax. Liz and John are wonderful hosts and the Barn is very cozy with the energy of 'home' to unwind after some busy days of being out and about.

A peaceful and inspiring getaway ✨ Lindsey was a very kind and helpful host who made us feel right at home. The farm tour was a real highlight — the alpacas are just adorable! Whether you're exploring the scenic trails or enjoying a quiet night with books, private cinema and a sauna, this place has it all. The apartment is soooo cozy, creative, and full of charm. If I were an author, I’d come here to write my first book. Thank you for such a memorable and authentic stay.

This was one of my favourite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed! The photos do not do it justice. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Our favourite part of this stay was the two border collies that followed us around we absolutely adored them. The skylight above the bed at night with the stars was unreal.

Great little spot in Coburg! The space is thoughtfully decorated and laid out. It’s in great proximity to everything. We really enjoyed our stay!

We recently stayed at Maison Aldrich and absolutely loved it! The place was cosy, romantic, and spotless — you could tell Bruno and Valerie really care about every little detail. They were super helpful and made us feel right at home. We slept like babies — the bed was incredibly comfortable! The only thing to note is that there’s no shower, which would’ve been a nice option, but honestly, the beautiful bath more than made up for it. It was such a peaceful and unique experience to soak and unwind. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a charming and relaxing getaway!

I love the Farm Shed...it feels like you have rented a wee home of your own and it's nestled in a serene farm setting...quiet, contemplative and cozy. The friendliest cat was a bonus.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy barn in Roblin! It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot , the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. I brought my partner here for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it! The barn has a charming and comfortable vibe, and it was the ideal location since it’s only about an hour away from the 1000 Islands Rockport Cruise. It made for a memorable and scenic get away. Highly recommend this spot for couples looking for a romantic escape!

Sheila is super nice. The home looks like the pictures. We had wonderful nights and enjoyed the private patio with firepit. I definitely will come again.

My only “even better if” for my stay at The Coop is that I booked more time there. I arrived feeling stressed from busy-ness of the city and left peaceful. This stay was to do creative thinking/focused work .. this was the perfect spot for this! Remote yet 5-10min to shops, restos, beach etc. Inside space is rustic yet modern and very spacious. Enjoyed the outdoor space with table and bbq (had dinner outside .. enjoyed warm evening sun). The bed was fabulous - comfortable, crisp / fresh bedding and the big windows were soothing to wake to. Ava was extremely responsive and helpful. Instructions were very easy and clear to follow. Bonuses were fresh eggs (yum!) and the “greeters” (Ozzie and Cliff) who came by to say hi if they were out (adorable, friendly dogs). Ava and Tim - you’ve created something really special! Thank you!!

The property was wonderfully quiet. We spent Saturday quietly and had a nice cheery fire in the fireplace on Saturday night. It was just the right place for us to have a little getaway.

I would highly recommend this location and booking with Kara! She was a great host who was very responsive and very accommodating. The place was very clean and was exactly as advertised. It was even decorated for the holidays which game it an at home-like feel. It was a great location for a large group with a large couch in the living room and a large dining table which could accommodate everyone in the group. If I’m ever looking in the area again, I would definitely go back!

Paul’s place felt very cozy and homely. Got to see beautiful sunrises. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had really good utensils and essentials as salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, and sugar. We hope to be back.

This was our second visit to Stillwood Loft and the first during an ice storm! We found the loft to be an excellent retreat from the harsh weather. When we were able to get outside, we admired the new additions to the property’s trails, and we look forward to enjoying them further in warmer weather. Definitely recommend.

As expected, big open lovely space in great location. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Very unique place, will be staying again for sure! Only downside for us was inability to block the stairs coming up to the main floor for our 1 year old with a baby gate, but they did provide a baby gate for the stairs to the top floor. I don't think the pictures actually showed how great the big deck is with ample patio furniture, it was a wonderful surprise :)

Had a great stay! The hot tub was amazing to relax in. There was lots to do inside and it's pretty close to Cape Split. Would definitely recommend.

Eva and David were lovely hosts! Responsive, helpful and flexible. The space was great for our family as we had breakfasts there and spent the rest of the day out and about. The kitchen and living area is small (more appropriate for 4 or fewer guests), but we had sunny weather and the patio had space for us all. The two upstairs bedrooms are beautiful and spacious!
