We spent 12 nights in Tigh-na-Blair…it exceeded our expectations. The view of the Firth of Clyde from the large windows in the living room is exceptional. Kitchen is functional and fully stocked…includes a separate freezer. Wi-Fi is fast and dependable. The bathroom includes a large tub/shower. The bedroom is large, includes a good-sized dresser, and the bed is comfortable (mattress is medium soft). The downstairs entry has both a washer/dryer and plenty of room to hang coats, rain gear and store shoes/boots. Every room was very clean. We appreciated the library of Arran-related books in the living room, along with artwork depicting various locations on Arran. A lot of effort has gone it to making the apartment feel like a home. Pam and her husband Rob are very welcoming and provided several recommendations for hiking and sightseeing. We highly recommend Tigh-na-Blair and will look to stay here again—it’s one of the best Airbnbs experiences we have had.

We had a brilliant stay and loved the amazing views. The apartment is bigger in person and really well laid out. Everything was clean and comfortable with some essentials provided in the fridge which was a nice touch. It was great having a bistro next door too when we wanted to eat out on our last night. The weather was mixed so we didn’t get to enjoy the wrap around balcony as much as we hoped but you can still enjoy the views from the warmth and comfort of the seating indoors. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Lovely well equipped and modern flat in centre of town. Location was fabulous and great view of castle from window! No car required as you are minutes from the ferry and shops. Would recommend.

This is a great place, and we had a great stay. The location is very convenient to visit distilleries and to walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. It is also right next door to an amazing whisky bar for a quick nightcap. We love Campbeltown, and Donna has a great place to stay!

Second stay at this property in Tarbert. This flat makes the perfect base for a group / family. Modern and clean, helpful host, brilliant location, fantastic AirBnB! Would recommend!

we had fantastic time at Kintour School House loved the place from top to bottom the house and gardens were better than we could have imagined the open country side with all of the farm and wild animals around us all in all a great place and would thoroughly recommend the property peter April 27 2025

Our New Year week had every possible kind of weather. The cottage was a cosy refuge when the rain and wind were doing their worst. All the facilities were great, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, everything just the way you’d expect. Our terrier enjoyed being right beside the sea front. And the sun did shine, too, and we had a sauna and swim in the sea. All outstanding.

We could not stay at the cottage for health and safety reasons, however the customer care provide by Paul was impeccable. He assisted us so well in order to relocate us to another accommodation. He was prompt, polite and very accommodating. We will definitely go back to the area and hopefully enjoy Paul’s cottage. Despite the event, I would hugely recommend Paul as he ensured our holiday was not spoilt but wonderful. Thank you.

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

Absolutely amazing property. Beautifully decorated and very homely. The house was so well equipped with everything you could need. Situated in a perfect setting, very short walk to restaurants and pubs. Also lots of lovely walks very nearby. The host was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Great place to stay when exploring the Isle of Gigha, its close to The Boathouse, Nook, local cafe and shops. The small beach 5 minutes walk away is a beautiful place to relax. The house has brilliant cooking facilities as well as cosy spots to enjoy the view. Very clean and great communication with the host.

We had such a fantastic experience at Ruth's place - the house was so user friendly with bedrooms accessible but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the living areas. Lovely hot water for showers and everything was very easy to use. Ruth was a fantastic host who made it very easy to get into her house and let ourselves get settled as soon as we arrived on the Island. We love the location as it's a short distance from Blackwaterfoot with its shops, bakery and hotel and beaches. Thank you for a wonderful stay Ruth!

We had an amazing stay at Ivygrove, it was the perfect size for the 3 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay, beds were really comfy and had plenty of information and ideas of things to do and see. Cathy was a great host, and was very responsive, from sending the check in details, to answering any questions, to check out. Would definitely recommend staying here, and I will book again when we next visit Dunoon.

A great place to stay and the host was able to book us in very last minute when we were stuck! The place was clean and warm, a good number of things to do as well. I would stay again!

Lovely accommodation with everything you need. Spacious living area with large tv great for watching the tennis and the football in particular! Food at the Kingarth and Glenburn hotels was delicious. Also the fish and chips in the West End Cafe (near the big Co op) was excellent. Trip on the Waverley to Tarbert and visit to Mount Stuart also lovely days out.

Absolutely beautiful space! The photos don’t do the place or the location justice. Loved the arty nature of Ute’s place and really enjoyed the fridge poetry and painting our postcard. A wonderful experience all round.

A wonderful location matched by superb accommodation and host. Other reviews are testament to Lorna as a host and nothing but praise for 5 star hosting. You’ll have to go a long way to find a better view when waking up or simply relaxing. Thanks Lorna🙏

Very interesting accommodation. The front hall of the big house is a bit bleak. However, the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful views over Loch Fyne and closer the birds in the surrounding trees. Very good seafood at the Starfish in Tarbert and at Skipness seafood cabin just down the coast. We enjoyed exploring the area - the beavers at Knapdale and we cycled back and forth along the length of the Crinan Canal. We had no issues with the peaty local water supply - it is what it is and Wendy flags it up before you stay. It is easy to use bottled water. We would certainly book again- thank you for a great stay.

Tolle Unterkunft in bester Lage - Ausgangspunkt für fußgängige Destilleriebesuche. Alles war bestens organisiert, der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin perfekt! Leider fiel die Heizung für vier Tage aus - auch die Dusche war eiskalt. Karen hat sich aufopfernd bemüht, war stets erreichbar. Das Problem konnte von den Handwerkern allerdings bis zu unserer Abreise nicht behoben werden. Die Temperaturen waren schon ziemlich ungemütlich. Karen hat uns ohne jegliche Diskussion umgehend ihre gesamte Provision rückerstattet - sehr großzügig! Airbnb war da leider nicht so kulant! Trotzdem: eine absolute Empfehlung für Karen und Lagavulin No.7
