Enjoy a getaway to Madrona Beach in this updated vintage cabin. A short walk to the community beach gives you opportunities for beach combing, summer and winter crabbing, canoeing or kayaking, and sometimes even whale sightings! Or just soak in the spa bathtub. This cabin is on the northwest part of Camano Island in the historic "Camp Lagoon" area, just 1-1/2 hours from Seattle, and is close to state parks, hiking, zip lining, and art. It is the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy life.

The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

Set between Whidbey Island and Washington's mainland, beautiful Camano Island can be reached by car. With over 56 miles of beaches, boating, salmon fishing, clamming and crabbing are bountiful. The unique appeal of Camano Island is that it offers visitors a real-life island experience, including a strong arts scene. Recreational activities such as biking are popular here. The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

You will be just a ~5 minute drive to the island’s finest dining options, largest grocery store, and Camano’s most vibrant hub: “Camano Commons". Enjoy a beach oasis just a 3-5 min walk from your accommodation. This secluded beach offers easy access to 2 kayaks and a fire pit perfect for cookouts. Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

My place is located on a small scale produce farm on the north end of Camano Island. Private suite in farmhouse with private entrance, private bathroom, deck and small kitchenette. Relax on the deck or explore the multiple parks on the island that offer walks in the forest or along the beach. About one mile away you will find delicious pastries, coffee, pub and shops selling locally made goods. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
