We stay in Valentine a couple of times a year while seeing friends in Rosebud Reservation. This time was a last-minute visit, and because it was earlier in the year, we couldn't camp and didn't want to stay in a motel. On a whim, I decided to check out AirBNB, and I am so glad I did. This place is SO cute and just what we needed for the night. It is a GREAT place to stay overnight, like we did, and longer for those that are coming to check out the local activities. I would recommend it without hesitation! It is going to be our go-to when we can't camp. Bonus to the hosts for allowing overnights. I know cleaning can be challenging after just one night, but we always try to leave places clean and do as much as we can to show our appreciation for their willingness to allow one-night stays.

We appreciate the place to stay. We were there for a fishing tournament. The parking for boats and trucks was a little tight, but it worked out. Hopefully we can get the same place in August. Thank you

We loved everything about this house! The setting is very serene overlooking the water. The cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed for our family of 6. We enjoyed walking down to the lake and using our kayaks. The restaurants were great - we tried The Wagon Wheel and Hungry Horse. Also caught a cattle auction, which was fun for our kids. We will definitely be back!!

Jilleen was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. We were in town for a loved one’s funeral and needed additional cookware to which she had waiting for us (I asked prior to arrival about having a big roasting pan and said I could easily bring mine if she didn’t). We didn’t hear the neighbors or street traffic. It was very quiet. There enough parking so that out of state family members that we hadn’t seen for awhile could park. The house is spacious enough that we could visit comfortably and have several “groups” talking at then same time and not disrupt one another. The beds and couches were very comfortable and there was privacy and space for three couples and a toddler. I highly recommend and would stay again if we need to come back over night.

Host was wonderful and friendly. We had everything we needed for a big family stay. House was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and accommodating.

We had a peaceful stay at the Sandhills Retreat. The sandhills are so tranquil and the house is a great spot to show off the natural beauty of central Nebraska. We had everything we needed for meals and entertainment. Marian was great at communicating with us, providing checkin information proactively so our group could trickle in throughout the day.

Cherilee's cottage is exactly as described. The WIFI was strong, the shower was very good, everything was spotless, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and everything was great. The location is in a very small town with no real market so be sure to bring your supplies with you because it is quite a ways to the nearest town. It is very quiet and peaceful and that is exactly what we were looking for.

The house was great for me and my son to stay at during hunting season. All the comfort of a house with close proximity to national forest. Julia was a great and helpful host who took care of any needs we had. The furniture, tv, internet and overall place was comfortable. The place is located just off the highway so you may get some traffic noise, but I will certainly stay here again when I visit the forest again.

Great place to come back to and unwind after a long day hunting. Felt right at home
