I spent a month in Gyan and Simon's boatshed and had the most wonderful time. I slept peacefully with the sound of the waves in the background. I woke up every morning to the birds singing and enjoyed the most incredible sunrises on the beach just four minutes from the house. Endless walks on the beach, through the national park and it's only a stone's throw to the centre of Byron Bay. Everything here has been chosen with love and taste. Delicious organic produce greeted me in the fridge on arrival. The boatshed has everything you need to feel at home. Gyan and Simon are the sweetest and most caring hosts. They gave me as much privacy as I wanted but were always there for me when I needed help. Thanks to their local tips and help with some of the organisation, I was able to explore so much and see the most beautiful places. It was incredible! Leaving this magical place and these beautiful humans was not easy.

Great host who was welcoming and pleasant. The "Beach Shack" was neat and tidy and Indie the Labradoodle checked in occasionally to make sure we were managing. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

I had some lovely and much needed downtime in this little paradise in the forest. Thanks to the hosts, the trees, the little green snake, the wallabies, the goanna maybe and all the birdies. Oh I forgot the quartet of ducks at night. A great place to be quiet and find your stillness again 💜🤍❤️.

One of my favourite Airbnbs! A peaceful, idyllic rural retreat. Easy commute to Lismore for supplies, local walking trails, waterfalls, and the coast. The local countryside is beautiful. A Thai 'pop up truck' serves dishes, less than 10 minutes away.

Beautiful place, very tranquil. Amazing spot- close to everything. Loved that I parked my car at accomodation and walked everywhere on holiday. Had everything one needed.

We could not have asked for a better getaway experience. Bronwyn’s Alpaca shed is in the most peaceful and serene countryside. The cottage is very simple and rustic but we had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The alpacas are gorgeous and we loved our twice daily check in from Merlin the friendly and curious poodle. At night the skies are incredibly clear with an expanse of sparkling stars and a nighttime lullaby of frogs croaking. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a break from city life or wanting to reconnect with nature. We appreciated the thoughtful gift of Easter eggs, fresh coffee and limes for the obligatory G&T. Thankyou again Bronwyn, we hope to be back another time.

We loved our stay in Byron Bay. Being close to the Tree House Restaurant, beach and in a location with easy traffic access (easy left turn onto a really busy main road) were perks. We had everything we needed to cook and go to the beach - beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler were a really nice bonus! If you happen to be a side sleeper, snatch up the ground level bed - the one upstairs is extremely firm! We had to do some shuffling around so everyone could sleep well. Outdoor deck space was my favorite part of the house and was used a lot!

I took my 9yo son to Michael’s tiny home for 2 nights, and then swapped my son for my partner for 2 nights. The tiny home is beautiful! From the build and fixtures, to the quality towels, bathroom products, comfy bed & thoughtful gifts of fresh eggs from the farm, and Byron Bay cookies & muesli. My son loved the loft bedroom, and feeding the horses which Michael very kindly picked us up on his buggy to go and do. The cows are gorgeous if you’re lucky enough to have them in the paddocks next to the home (which we were). Michael also let my son feed them, which was a great experience for him. My partner & I loved the peacefulness, the quiet, the fire pit, the outdoor bath, and the close proximity to Byron & Bangalow. Michael was so lovely, accommodating, friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Natasha was a beautiful host and was a responsive communicator. We loved the area, the bedroom space and the fact that our little dog could stay with us. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Everything about our stay was absolutely incredible! The location is great, close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. The place itself is so cosy and beautifully set up, with extra points for the incredibly comfortable bed! Karen is such a lovely and friendly host, making the whole experience even more special. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more!

I am a return guest to Lenny's place. I LOVE the feel of the place - the ocean sounds throughout the days and nights, the great nature all around, the tastefully designed home, the amenities - I SO love staying here. And Lenny is a dream host - in every way - proactive, kind, divine. I've put my wishlist in for more stays!!

Very tidy, had all sorts of amenities, more than you would normally expect. If you haven't experienced a tiny home before be prepared for tight small spaces! But it is a fun experience. Beautiful surroundings and great hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joshua’s beautifully curated Airbnb. It was raining for most of our stay, which didn’t dampen the mood at all… it was cosy and magical in the rain! The sauna and outdoor bath/shower were very enjoyable in the weather too. Joshua has everything you need from an array of books, to a lemon squeezer, to little bags to put your clothes in while in the sauna. The bed was also extremely comfy. Thank you for having us Joshua! We will definitely recommend to friends.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. The house is just as described with a wonderful view, fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Spotlessly clean and within walking distance from the main street in Bangalow - we’d love to come back!

My daughter and I loved Fiona's cottage and stunning rural surroundings. What a blessing it was and so refreshingly peaceful and serene. The accommodation was beautifully appointed, tidy and clean. Fiona was helpful when reaching out to her. We stayed for the Bluesfest at Easter and it was incredible having a warm shower and ultra warm hot tub to come home to - the beauty of the surroundings highlighted by clear starry nights. It was absolute bliss. We didn't find the platypus family, but tried to befriend some of Fiona's cows. (They weren't that interested in our presence! Thanks Fiona. We would definitely love to return!

Nice and neat little spot, with own privacy and yard - easy to find, clean and comfortable.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay in Wilson’s Creek. The bed was comfortable, the surroundings were beautiful, the outdoor bath was a real highlight of this property. Our 3 night stay was a wonderful weekend escape.

Fantastic place to stay, clear and easy instructions for check in. Place was immaculate on arrival with everything we would need for our stay. Gorgeous spot with easy access to the beach near by and short walk into town centre. Would highly recommend!

Lovely place! The eco pods are the perfect size (bigger than the photos!), comfortable beds, super new and clean and perfect for a stay in Byron. Although a little outside of Byron main, you can easily catch an Uber, bike or bus when they run (check the schedule) but hiring a car would be beneficial. Lovely hosts, incredibly helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again!!

Great location for a quiet stay outside town. Close enough to still get Ubers into Byron if needed. Everything was extremely clean and Ann and Jules are lovely people. Lots of nature around and definitely recommend for city getaway.

Too cute !!! Betty Boop as a caravan was all we needed when it was time to turn in... They say the best room in the house, is NOT in the house... well this whole accommodation is basically a top-end glamping space with a serene view like no other!!! Kookaburras morning and evening... Cheeky young magpies skulking about for a few treats... just heaven !!! We would love to return again and again and again... didnt want to leave, seriously !!!! And please give Charlie a pat for us... the friendliest border collie totally living his best life 🙏🏽🕉❤️

A beautiful private retreat tucked away in the Byron Hinterland. The cabin is quaint with all you would need for a peaceful country stay- just far away enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough for the convenience of town.

Thank you for having us. The place and location were absolutely stunning. We did not want to leave! Despite rainy weather in Byron we had the most amazing stay relaxing in the property and enjoying the most beautiful view and listening to the cows. Very friendly host! Highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back.
