A fun weekend getaway from the city life. Enjoyed the stillness of this Airbnb. Would recommend hiking around the property (maps inside cabin). Enjoyed the puppies, the roosters, the Amish buggies trotting by at dawn and dusk. The stars at night and the streams rolling through the valley will give you chills. It was the perfect weekend and we will be back!

Our stay at Justin Trails Resort was beyond our expectations! We stayed in Little House on the Prairie after we got married in Sparta as a little getaway. Their property is absolutely gorgeous with an abundance of hiking trails and even disc golf. They had llamas, Rusty and Dusty, that were so fun to watch and feed them! Donna had breakfast prepared every morning with all fresh or homemade foods! It was excellent. We were lucky enough to bring our St. Bernard puppy along and she had so much fun hiking and playing with Donna’s dog, Heidi, in their dog play area. They were so accommodating to everything we needed. We couldn’t say enough great things about our stay here. It’s outstanding!

The cabin was beautiful- BETTER than the pictures. The host family offers luxury "perks" like wonderful toiletries, pillowtop mattresses and top end pillows, soft blankets rolled up everywhere for guest to use, plush towels, the lights were on when we got there as was the hot tub ready to go. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

Another great visit to the cabin! Clean and spacious with plenty of activity options, only limited by your imagination! My family and I had an amazing weekend and we will be back!

We were four families who stayed here for a weekend in April, and the home was perfect for our group. It was spacious enough for all of us to move around comfortably, gather for meals, and spend quality time together. From games and books to spices you might have left behind, the hosts have truly anticipated guests’ needs. The views from this house are absolutely stunning. We saw plenty of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, and eagles, which added to the peaceful, natural setting. The dog run area was another great feature— Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch. One thing to note for those with mobility concerns: the walk from the car to the house is a bit of a trek. The hosts provide carts to help transport your things, but if you’re not able to carry items or have people to help, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, we loved our stay here and we will definitely be back.

Cody and Emma were very prompt with answers and had some great recommendations. Will definitely keep this one in mind for future trips to the lacrosse area!

Welcome to the PERFECT outdoorsman’s cabin. With so many out-door opportunities to engage in, in the Alma area, this cottage is perfect. It’s close to the river, close to the Stockholm Pie Co., and it’s also secluded and private. Look no further for the perfect place to stay, whether you’re getting away for a weekend of fishing or want to come out and ride on real, active, horse farm!

The cabin is in a beautiful location and the huge front space was so great for the dogs. I really appreciated her ease of check in and her prompt response time. She was flexible with us regarding our check out time and that was hugely appreciated . This was our second time at the cabin and will always recommend

We needed a place that allowed dogs and Alayna’s Airbnb worked for us. There wasn’t a dog run available; however, there was plenty of grass around her house for the dogs to roam on leash. And, there is a great park just a few blocks away. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and most allowed dogs on the porch. And, the biking is world class! Also, there was a bike shed available which really came in handy. Pam and Mike

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

Great place to stay! Make sure to pack warm for the winter months!

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this cute little cabin in Pepin!! I definitely want to stay here again at some point. It was the perfect set up, very cozy and welcoming, and absolutely beautiful area.

Absolutely beautiful, clean and well appointed home! Very comfortablehad everything we could possibly need and more and the view is breathtaking! So much seating outdoors and in and Nancy was a very helpful when we arrived late at night and had trouble finding the location she got us there and in the door. We cannot wait to go back!

Overall we had a great stay at this cozy log cabin. Very quaint, comfortable, and perfect for our foraging trip. The shower was great, and the beds were cozy. You can see so many stars outside. The heaters kept us warm. The only thing that surprised us was the incinerator toilet, which we did not have any experience with before. It was an interesting concept, and led us to try to use the bathroom in the outhouse and in public restrooms as much as possible, as it was a little bit of a hassle to clean the ashes out every few times we went to the bathroom. It might be nice to give people a heads up about this, as in the photo it shows a toilet with traditional plumbing. Other than this unexpected bathroom situation, which we made do with, it was a great stay! The hosts were communicative and check in and check out was seamless.

Me and my partner went here for our 5 year anniversary, and Roland made sure he was very attentive, and made us feel comfortable to be there! He had a couple things on sight that we forgot to pack and was very kind! We couldn’t get our fire started due to the rain the night before and he came right away with dry fire wood and even got it going for us! He made sure to accommodate anything we asked for and helped us have a special night! Definitely one to remember! This was both of our first times staying at an air bnb and I hope that any one I stay at after this lives up to the expectations we now have! We appreciated your hospitality very much and will most definitely return for a visit another time!

We really enjoyed our stay at porcupine cottage! Host was very communicative, place felt like home, beds were very comfortable and plenty of board games to keep busy on a cold winter night. Great first vacation with our two under two!

Very cozy log cabin with lots of room. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities to make meals and beds were very comfortable. Extremely quiet, secluded getaway for a long family weekend.

My dog and I had a great time at Jared’s place! It’s private (no neighbors in sight) and had so much for my dog to explore! The creek was super peaceful to listen to and we had some great bird sightings. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed (including fast WiFi to work remotely). A great stay!
