We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! Our family vacation was lovely and peaceful. The house was comfortable, beautiful surroundings and lots of light. Would definitely recommend.

This must be one of the best air bnb’s that we stayed at. Lovely home , beautiful surroundings,close to Acadia national park and bar harbor. We would definitely be back next year and would recommend this to our family and friends.

LOVED Tj's place! Wish I were staying there for vacation purposes, instead it was just while I was moving and movers had already taken all my furniture. But, right when you walk in, there's the water... The interior felt like home. Was able to walk down to a restaurant and there's a park across the street and a smaller one right next to the house. Didn't get to use the kayak since it was snowing... :-) Highly recommend Tj's home for whatever purpose. I will definitely try to get this home when I make it back up there!

We had a great time and really enjoyed the location. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We never wanted to leave. It had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of 5.

This was our second stay with Devon and as usual it did not disappoint! It is exactly what we needed for a quiet getaway. It is very serene with sounds of the Loons echoing across the lake. Did not see a car or person in 4 days which was great. Devon was always in touch if needed and accommodating. Great kitchen with everything needed for a snack or a full meal. A very relaxing stay!

I could not overstate the beauty and peacefulness of this location. Good proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia but private with stunning views. The description and photos are accurate, we found the host responsive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Our family had a lovely stay at the Lupine Cottage. Such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed getting out on the water in the kayaks and sitting out in the Adirondack chairs listening to the loons and barred owls call. Nice central location for exploring Acadia and the mid coast. LOVED this little cottage steps from the lake! Robert was super responsive and had the place all lit up and warmed up for us when we arrived. He has thought of everything that a vistor might need (and then some). We were there to visit the university and it was a dreary rainy weekend, but the lake was still beautiful. Despite the weather, we were able to get a campfire going on our first night. Thank you Robert for the dry wood, the pre-set starter fire pit and the decks of cards! The setting and house were charming, and the proximity to the university and Bar Harbor served us well.

We couldn't think of a single thing to complain or dislike about this cottage. Mischele has thought of everything, every basic need, that you forget when traveling, was thought of for you. The cottage is warm and inviting and the instructions sheet for using your amenities was detailed and answered any questions we came up with. And don't get me started on the adorable coastal towns you drive though to get here, even in the off season they are bustling small towns with so much history and character. Thanks so much for such a great weekend away from our busy lives!

I spent a week at this beautiful little cabin with my two grandchildren. It was the perfect size and looks just as beautiful as the pictures inside and out. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. The lake can be seen from the cabin and we enjoyed the dock for fishing and watching the ducks. It’s very close to town for groceries etc but very quiet and peaceful on a dead end street. Jason was very welcoming and always available for questions and quick to respond. The only thing that would have made it better for my grandkids is if there was easier access for getting into the lake with a a little beach area or a lawn that went down to the water. But if you want a quiet get away in beautiful surroundings don’t hesitate.

Great location right on the lake! Great for a small group of family. 2 privated bedrooms and an open loft with 2 twin beds.

Walking and sun rises were wonderful. The cabin was clean and welcoming! Very quiet and peaceful. The only detail that would enhance the stay and departure is not having your guest do house keeping ( putting dishes away, stripping beds and starting laundry) though house keeping charges were included.

Terrill and Charlie‘s cabin is lovely! Great communication, the cabin is well equipped (including lots of board games) and super cozy. We had a really relaxing time and might come back in spring :)

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Connor, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. You can count on us to be back in the future! Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful area and fantastic host! We had fun playing at the arcade and walking around the camp groups/lake!

A great private place to stay when visiting Acadia! Only about 40 minutes away from Bar Harbor.

The cabin was very comfortable, quiet, and just as described. Everything you need for cooking is already there. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, wifi was amazing. We went kayaking one day and it was beautiful. There are tons of rocks just below the surface of the water near the islands but you can see them because the water is so clear. The drive to the cabin is a long gravel road and thankfully we have 4WD because it might have been harder to get up the driveway from the cabin if we didn’t. There were loons on the pond every day and night but they were fun to see and hear. We also had some hummingbirds visit the feeder at the cabin and loved watching them our whole stay. The water from the faucet is from the lake but it’s so clear you almost wouldn’t know it. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, natural place to relax.

Sherri was very helpful, she responded very quickly! She also provided little treats to make the stay more like home! The bed also felt very clean which was very nice!

Comfy little cabin in the woods! We enjoyed having a fire in the fire place as it got pretty chilly at night. Relaxed in the screen room and played games one afternoon. The bed was comfortable and the view waking up in the morning was wonderful! Loved the LED mirror! Close to Belfast…we went to the indoor farmers market there on Saturday. Lots of goodies, and a nice view of the bay. We parked down at the mill one day and visited The Lost Kitchen venue. Then walked down to the Hills to Sea trail entrance and enjoyed a lovely walk thru the woods. Never did get to use the kayaks. The walk up and back to the lake might be a bit steep for some so just a heads up on that. Dan and Julia were very communicative and they provided binders with lots of local information. Nice and peaceful escape! Thanks so much!
