Our stay with Barry was excellent. The location was amazing, the property was clean and cozy, and the home-cooked breakfasts were great. Barry was a kind and incredibly knowledgable host, with great recommendations (and maps!) for nearby hikes, activities, and restaurants. The location made it a great getaway from the city -- it was very quiet, and at night there is next to no light pollution. Although we had overcast skies on our nights here, we certainly would have been able to do stargazing just by driving a few minutes down the road. This is a great place to stay if you're interested in the nearby hiking trails (e.g. Lion's Head Lookout, Bruce Peninsula National Park, Devil's Monument, etc.). Even if you're simply looking for a nice getaway from the city, I would highly recommend staying at the Lofty heights BnB. Small note: since cell service is quite spotty, we recommend downloading road maps and/or trail maps prior to visiting, although if you forget, Barry had plenty of maps to help plan excursions.

We had a lovely stay at Ashleigh and Sean’s ! They’re great hosts and the place is amazing! So conveniently located, but also tucked away. Easy to walk to downtown and trails close by. Parking was provided on premise. They’re extremely proactive and gave us some great tips and recommendations. If you’re going to Tobermory I would definitely recommend staying at Ashleigh and Sean’s!!

Jeff’s commitment to being a good host is a 120% The place is spotless, he takes detailed note of preferences for breakfast, the place is very well appointed with everything you need - including thoughtful touches like extra blankets and pillows. The quality of everything is top notch. The mattress was medium-firm, a detail I always add for those who are sensitive to this. Breakfast is an event in itself and was absolutely delicious. I loved staying at Jeff’s and highly recommend it.

Kathleen was an absolutely charming host. We slept like stones and had a delicious breakfast with quality local and/or organic produce as well as home made sour dough bread.

I hike around the Bruce Peninsula area frequently, and like to stay in the South part of the Peninsula (easy access to more "off the beaten path" parts of the Bruce trail Peninsula section). Jeff's BNB is by far the nicest spot I've stayed in the area, and by far the best value. Jeff was a great host, and it was a pleasure to get to know him. The house is beautiful, especially if you are into historical houses. Breakfast was also perfect. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend his BNB.

Great spot to explore Georgian bay. Kathleen made us delicious vegan breakfasts both days and had a beautiful sitting and games room available for guests. The beds were so comfortable and the area was quiet.

Our stay at Applewood was excellent! We were in town for a wedding and were looking for somewhere to stay, Kathleen's B&B was conveniently right in town and very close to the venue. There is lots of food/shops within walking distance, and it was a short walk to the waterfront. The room was clean and comfortable (the bed was amazing!) and you can tell she puts lots of heart into her space. She was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was so good both days! Thank you Kathleen we had a wonderful stay!

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb, and my first time going to a bed and breakfast so I didn't really have any expectations. I was happy with the location as it was easily accessible to all places in Tobermory. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, responding very quickly to any message I sent them. Sean let us know all the things to do in the area and was very friendly. All in all I feel the price is definitely worth what you get. If you are looking for a place to stay that feels like a home away from home (in Tobermory) this is the spot for you.

Beautiful country getaway!! The little apartment has everything you need, fridge, microwave, stove etc. It was super clean and nice and private with its own separate entrance. Linda are John were lovely! Extremely kind and helpful. We sat on the deck at the front of the house in the evening with some wine and snacks and watched the sunset. If you are an animal lover this is the place for you! The cats kept us very entertained and we took riding lessons on the horses, (Linda is a really fantastic instructor). Really lovely little place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the country and the horses!

Ich habe den Aufenthalt bei in Brendas B&B sehr genossen! Sie ist eine sehr nette und gastfreundliche Person und hat mir bei allen meinen kleinen Anliegen weitergeholfen. Mein Zimmer war sauber und das Frühstück immer köstlich. Ich liebe ihre Event-Scheune (wo das Frühstück serviert wird) mit der geschmackvollen Einrichtung. Der Aufenthalt im Sommerville Court und der Besuch des Lucknow Country Music Festivals "Music in the Fields" wird mir in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Sollte ich je wieder nach Lucknow kommen, ist Brenda definitv meine erste Wahl! :)

If you are staying in the area, this is the place to be. Such a cool space with amazing vintage touches and awesome decor. The breakfast was exquisite and had such a nice presentation. Delicious! Brenda was also extremely nice, accommodating, and friendly.

Brenda was a lovely host. She was so helpful to accommodate late check in, provide instructions to the house in real time, and even made us a snack basket! I would definitely stay with her again

Dorota and Merik were great hosts, fiendly, responsive, and super helpful and attentive we're so glad we met them, and we'll definately go back again. The place was gorgeous, lake front property with lots of privacy, and immaculate backyard. room was spotless, and the breakfast served was so delicious with generous portions. Five stars in all aspects

Absolutely outstanding stay! Darlene was truly wonderful and made our visit to Tobermory thoroughly enjoyable. She makes an incredible breakfast which we loved and her attention to detail is amazing! The rooms are spotless with beautiful little details, everything you could need and she is fantastic at providing many local recommendations to ensure her guests have the best time. I could not recommend a stay at Darlene’s more! We will definitely be returning 🙌🏼

J’ai passé 2 nuits chez Sahand & Teresa pour randonner à Lion's Head et au Parc de la Péninsule Bruce. Le logement était parfait, bien situé, propre et confortable. Merci à Sahand et Teresa qui ont été des hôtes parfaits, acceuillants, prévenants et bienveillants ! Je recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Was a perfect place that felt safe for my daughter and I to stay at. I liked the other guests being near but still had enough privacy. The restaurant was super handy and the breakfast was outstanding (and included free in the stay price). Highly recommend.

The log cabin home is so cozy and inviting! We came during the fall, and Rick had so many suggestions for great hiking locations. The cabin is lovely, with a wood fire burning and a delicious breakfasts waiting for you in the morning!

Micha is a very friendly host, and her lovely dog, Teddy, adds to the welcoming atmosphere of her home. The house is spotless, surpassing even some hotel standards. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious. Additionally, the location is central to downtown, within walking distance of various local restaurants and shops. I will definitely return to Micha’s place for my next visit to Owen Sound. Thank you, Micha, for everything 😊
