Bertha's Cabin: Rustic Ohio River Retreat

Experience the charm of Augusta, KY in this cozy 1800s log cabin, just steps from the Ohio River. Sleeps up to 6 with 1 queen, 1 full, and a sofa bed. Features a living room, upstairs kitchenette, and bathroom. Walk to local pubs, shops, and dining. Expect weekend live music and passing trains. Pet-friendly with modern touches and plenty of character. Note: all sleeping areas are upstairs with open stairs and steps—not ideal for young kids or those with mobility concerns.

Flash Lodge

Country setting house includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, 5 private bedrooms, a lower level dorm area with 12 bunk beds & kitchenette, washer and dryer. Detached shower house. There is a nice concrete patio and a large wooden deck with outdoor furniture and chairs. The house has three flat screen TV’s with a fire stick. Great internet WiFi. There is a 19 acre lake and a small pond for fishing. Parties and Events are Allowed.

The Fourth Street House

The Fourth Street House was built in 1948 and we are delighted to share it with you! The house is located on a residential low-traffic street and will charm you as soon as you step in the front door! It has recently undergone renovation of the kitchen, both bathrooms, refinished original hardwood floors and new furniture throughout the home. Its relaxing atmosphere, gorgeous views from the back deck and access to Market Street make this home a treasure.

Minton Lodge - Relax, Rewind, Enjoy!

Privacy and peacefulness is what you'll experience at the beautiful Minton Lodge, a service offered by the Josh Minton Foundation. 4 bedroom and 2 full baths in a very remote location on a 49 acre wooded property . Wrap around porch, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, smoker, and a wood stove in large living room. Walking trails with plenty of wildlife. Wifi, DirecTV, DVD player and two LCD TV's. 10 minutes from the Ohio River and Maysville, Kentucky.

This is the perfect couples getaway! Arrive with everything you need for a few days then take a deep breath. On exhale everything not directly related to the river is turned off. Then mix and match the following activities on repeat….river and critter watching, drinks/cuddling by the fire, hot tubing, snuggling, napping, snacking, streaming...occasionally throw in some fishing, kayaking, and open fire cooking on the cast iron cookware.

Take a step Back into Time with this Original Frontiersman Cabin that was built in 1791. Great Place to Stay and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Private residence that the family has decided to bring it back together. Fishing is also included with the Cabin. It is a 2 acre lake located behind the Cabin with a great country view.
