We stayed at this place whilst visiting for a 60th birthday party at The Hollingwood pub. The place was very cold upon arrival but soon warmed up with the heater, although would advise taking a blanket. The place was a lovely little place which had all that was needed, was very clean and tidy and did what it needed to for our stay. The communication was great from the host, very friendly and welcoming.

Great accomodation and attention to detail. House had all amenities, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hosts were very friendly and supportive regarding our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to other guests and would consider a return in the future if visiting this area again.

We loved our stay here. It was very easy to find and check in. Very clean and had everything we needed. The onsite playground is a great addition. The location is great for exploring the Peaks.

I can’t thank Melanie enough! She was so helpful with any questions that we had, and gave us some amazing recommendations on where to watch the sunset locally. One of our favourite parts of the trip was actually down to one of Melanie’s recommendations. The flat was perfectly clean and a great central location to explore Buxton. It is also not too far to travel to Thors Cave and The Roaches/Luds Church (which are also well worth the hike!) I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to explore the Peak District! Everything was perfect!!! Very clean, nice host, very comfortabel bed, a bath… Perfect location for ous to stay one night for our roadtrip.

Nice place to stay with the private parking space an added bonus. Also close to some good restaurants.

Spent 2 nights with kids at Margaret’s flat. We arrived late and found the entrance at the back of the building fairly easily, even in the dark. Parking close to flat is tricky as lots of cars and limited spots. Flat is over 2 floors, compact, very clean and has everything you need. We cooked and ate there with no problems. It has a steep set of steps up to top floor bedrooms which were fine for us but could be challenging for some. Area feels safe and is close to Sheffield centre, taking about 10 mins in the car, which is where we spent most of our time. Rivelin valley trail is near which we walked along before stopping in a nearby pub (Blind Monkey) which was welcoming and a great find. Margaret is really helpful and made our stay very straight forward.

The apartment was beautiful and the photos did not do it justice.. ideally located, we walked along the Monsal Trail to Bakewell and in the opposite direction to Monsal Head.. the station cafe was perfect for breakfast too. There are some lovely pubs just down the road in Ashford in the Water and Chatsworth House is also on the doorstep. We had the most relaxing break between Christmas and the New Year. I would highly recommend..

I had a lovely stay at Jill's. Very quiet and private, and had everything you could need for a short stay away. Would love to stay again.

Great find, accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Really quirky, clean property, and welcome crumpets for breakfast, Thank you Kirsty! Just be aware, there is quite a steep hill to climb to get to the properly if you walk into Matlock. This was fine for us, but could be an issue for some. Great pubs and pizza take away right across the street. We will definitely reccommend.

We had a great stay in Castleton at Marianne’s air bnb. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and was decorated beautifully. Very convenient for getting to lots of local walk as well as for travelling to other areas of the Peak District. Marieanne was a great host and we would certainly visit again. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable and homely. The only minor issue I had is the cottage is on the main road which could be a bit noisy, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend taking ear plugs.

Brilliant location, the host checked us in and couldn't do enough to help us. Inside is clean and tidy with the bedding and towels smelling amazing!

We have been to Sheffield many times and Jez's place was the best in terms of quality and value for money. Really nice apartment with a roof patio and tastefully decorated. Loved the walk in shower! Conveniently located to nearby restaurants and a supermarket but off the main road so very quiet at night. Jez was very prompt in replying to questions and was the perfect host. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in Buxton! The location is amazing—just a short walk into town, which made everything super convenient. The two bedrooms were perfect for our group and very comfortable. We did end up using the sofa bed as well; just a heads-up that it’s on the smaller side, so something to keep in mind if your a 6 person group. When we realised we’d forgotten to bring bedding for it, Fiona was incredibly kind and helped us out, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great place and a wonderful host.

Charlotte was a fantastic host! She greeted us as soon as we arrived, and everything was perfectly prepared for our stay in this lovely place. We had a private space with a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. During the day, we worked from the apartment, and in the evenings, we enjoyed walks. There are plenty of beautiful natural spots just a 20–30 minute drive from the town.

A lovely modern property with lots of space and superbly located in the centre of town. Excellent communication with the host. I will be back.

Joe was amazing at replying and helping with all questions we had. He was easy to talk to and made me feel that I could talk to him freely and without hesitation. the apartment is exactly as described, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with beautiful furniture, smart television and the best part the amazing jacuzzi which is really simple to operate but just in case there’s a welcome book with clear instructions. this apartment is a steal at £130-£150 per night. well worth the money, and it feels like a romantic getaway in the same city I live.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location and building wasn’t what we expected but still felt nice and private once inside. Room looks exactly like the pics. The hosts were really attentive and got back to me very quickly with any questions I had. Definitely recommend here for someone to stay the night.

Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.
